Hi, I’m Alexis! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Georgia with several years of experience helping adults navigate anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, life transitions, and difficult family or relationship dynamics. You may be feeling emotionally exhausted, overwhelmed by your thoughts, uncertain about a relationship, or frustrated by patterns that keep repeating. You may also be functioning well on the outside while privately struggling to manage your mood, past experiences, or the expectations placed on you. Therapy can provide a place to slow down, understand what is happening, and begin making meaningful changes. My experience includes community-based care, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, nonprofit organizations, residential treatment, and private practice. I use evidence-based approaches including Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and other trauma-informed and attachment-based interventions. Your treatment will be tailored to your needs rather than based on a one-size-fits-all approach. I earned bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Religion, a Master of Social Work, and a Certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Georgia. I am currently completing my Doctorate degree and also serve as a part-time Assistant Professor, helping prepare future social work professionals. My style is warm, authentic, engaging, and collaborative. I want you to feel comfortable being yourself in therapy while also receiving honest feedback, practical tools, and support in working toward the changes that matter to you.

If you are looking for a therapist that says more than “and how does that make you feel”- Keep reading. My approach is laid back, I work hard to help my clients gain my trust, and I believe in actively listening to my clients. However, our sessions are interactive and collaborative because we work together to achieve goals. This process isn’t about “telling all of your business to a stranger”, its about healing

I am a compassionate and client-centered therapist who is dedicated to helping individuals navigate challenges related to depression, anxiety, and trauma. My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and grounded in evidence-based practices that empower clients to better understand their experiences, build resilience, and create meaningful change in their lives. I integrate several therapeutic modalities in my work, including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and mindfulness-based approaches. Through these methods, I help clients identify and challenge unhelpful or “stuck” beliefs related to past experiences, strengthen personal motivation for growth, and develop greater awareness of thoughts, emotions, and behaviors in the present moment. My goal is to create a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and supported as they explore difficult emotions and experiences. Together, we work to develop practical coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and cultivate healthier perspectives that support long-term well-being. I particularly enjoy working with individuals who are navigating trauma, stress, life transitions, and mood or anxiety-related concerns. Whether you are seeking to process past experiences, manage overwhelming emotions, or build new coping strategies, therapy can be a powerful step toward healing and personal growth.

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor. I am passionate about helping clients reach their treatment goals. Outside of behavioral health care and in my free time, I enjoy being a homebody and all of the peace that comes with it, activity nights with my family, and listening to music. In Therapy, I operate with the belief that my clients are the experts in their life and I am the professional. We work together to maximize clients reaching their goals in therapy. I rely on the client's expertise in their life experiences as much as they rely on my professional knowledge, compassion and skill sets in therapeutic sessions. I know my clients possess an inner strength and resiliency that promotes the groundwork for therapy. My welcoming, compassionate, and relaxed counseling style creates an environment where patients feel understood and valued, and where they can be their authentic selves without fear of judgment.

My name is Bill Massey and I am a licensed clinical social worker practicing in west central Georgia and east central Alabama. I graduated from the University of Georgia's MSW program in 1993 and became an LCSW in 1996. I have worked in home health and hospice for most of my career with a strong emphasis on geriatrics and dementia care. I have experience in inpatient psychiatric settings and residential services as well. I am looking to fill a niche that I have seen wanting attention for some time. For many years I have seen elders and their families in their homes but had to refer out any counseling other than crisis intervention to outpatient therapists. The problem is that I have been referring homebound people for outpatient therapy. This is not effective for many reasons. With the help of Grow Therapy, I intend to offer my services of counseling and case management to people in the comfort of their own homes. I will become a mobile mental health provider to serve a population that has gone largely underserved for all too long. My coverage area for in-home therapy will be Lee, Russell, and Chambers counties in Alabama as well as Muscogee, Chattahoochee, and Harris Counties in Georgia. I am opening up limited appointment times for virtual counseling as of mid May 2024.

Greetings! My name's Bertrona Freeman and I am a compassionate and practical therapist who supports adults navigating substance use concerns, anger, grief, trauma, emotional regulation, relationships stress, and major life transitions. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia with experience helping individuals reconnect with themselves and create more intentional, balanced lives. I work with clients who feel overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve them, whether that’s in relationships, life transitions, or their own internal dialogue. Many clients enter into therapy feeling uncertain, disconnected, or weighed down by stress, anxiety, or unresolved experiences. Through our work together, clients begin to feel more grounded, more clear, and more in control of their lives. They learn how to set boundaries without guilt, manage their emotions with confidence, and show up in their relationships in a way that feels more authentic and aligned. My clients often leave therapy with a stronger sense of self, a deeper understanding of their needs, and the ability to move through life with greater peace, clarity, and intention.

Hello, I am Shaqueena. Are you tired of being tired? Do you feel that no one understands your situation or that no one can relate? Are you unsure if therapy is right for you? If you are here, then that means that you are ready and motivated to make some changes in your life. Seeking help can sometimes be tough, which is why I believe that we all experience things in our life that goes beyond our ability to cope and when that happens we need a little more assistance. As a licensed professional counselor, my ultimate goal is to first normalize seeking assistance by decreasing the stigma on mental health. In doing so, my goal is to assist individuals in their healing process, to empower individuals to become the best version of themselves and to help individuals to see that life is completely what you make it. My preference for treatment is to utilize a trauma-informed approach in addition to CBT, EMDR and Choice/Reality Therapy.

I am proud to be a member of Chi Sigma Iota, an International Academic and Professional Counseling Honor Society. I have over twenty years' experience working with families as a child advocate with the court system and I currently provide social investigations and assist individuals involved in contentious divorce or visitation issues. Perhaps my most rewarding experience was seven years’ providing individual and group counseling in a shelter for survivors of domestic violence. My specialties are working with individuals who have symptoms of stress, depression, anxiety, anger, traumatic brain injury, or who are experiencing family issues. Clients find that I genuinely like people from all walks of life, I am non-judgmental, and I am an excellent listener. Research supports, and I believe, that a strong client-counselor relationship is the most important part of the counseling experience and creating that bond is my goal. I look forward to meeting you, getting to know you, and working with you to achieve your personal goals. Mary Beth
