I’m Porche Corley, a Clinical Social Worker licensed in both Georgia and Colorado, and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Founder of iPrevail Counseling and Professional Development, LLC. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Human Services with a concentration in Family and Child Services from the University of Phoenix and my Master of Social Work from Capella University. In addition to my licensure, I hold the Board Certified-TeleMental Health Provider and Human Services-Board Certified Practitioner credentials from the Center for Credentialing and Education. I am also a certified Clinical Trauma Professional and certified specialist in anger management and grief/loss. I am deeply passionate about helping individuals navigate these challenges with compassion, support, and understanding.

As a husband and father of five, I deeply understand the joys and challenges of family life. My journey to becoming a counselor was a personal one, born from a desire to help others navigate life's complexities. With over 20 years of experience as a social worker, I’ve recently transitioned to providing counseling services, drawing on my deep commitment to supporting and empowering others. A proud Ringgold High School graduate from the class of 1986, I’ve always been dedicated to serving my community. Now, I’m excited to expand my reach virtually across Georgia, offering compassionate and expert support to anyone in need.

I have over 18 years of experience of experience in the social services field. I received my Master of Social Work from the illustrious Alabama A&M University in 2006. Currently as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker I have focused my skill set on mental health. I believe in meeting the client where they are at and being compassionate in order to establish relationships to promote client growth.

I’ve enjoyed working with clients who are looking for change in their lives and are willing to take an honest look at patterns and behaviors that have historically led to conflict or unhappiness. The amazing aspect of working with these clients is that they often already know what needs to be done. Having a nonjudgmental space to explore behavior patterns that oppose what they say they want to accomplish, helps to bring these behaviors into the light and enable self-identified changes needed for success. As a counselor, I feel it is my job to act as a mirror so that clients can see themselves more clearly, and not to give advice, that, on some level, they already know needs to happen. My goal is to be the client's most avid cheerleader.

I am a licensed professional counselor in Georgia with a degree in Counseling and Psychology, specializing in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Troy University. I spent 12 years as a teacher before transitioning into school counseling, which led me to my passion for mental health. With seven years of experience as a therapist, I provide compassionate, personalized support for individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. My diverse background allows me to connect with clients from all walks of life, helping them find clarity and resilience.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor. I graduated from Mercer University with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. After 5+ years of working in community mental health both at the inpatient and outpatient levels, I have gained invaluable experience working with individuals from multicultural backgrounds and with various severe mental health diagnoses. My clients can see that I am passionate about assisting them in healing their wounds and creating their next chapters in life. Change and growth don’t have to feel scary, because I assist my clients in utilizing their strengths to take back their power! My experience includes treating individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorders, grief, postpartum, racial issues, trauma, life transitions, relationship conflict, substance abuse, and more. I am currently using EMDR in my practice while I am under consultation for EMDR basic training.

I am a solution focused professional. I like for us to take care of the current issue at hand and then go backwards into what might be some of the thinking patterns that brought you to the current situation.
