Hi! I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in Florida. I received my Masters from Nova Southeastern University and have been practicing for 30+ years. I help adults develop lasting skills that empower them to navigate life's challenges with confidence. My approach is grounded in empathy and respect, empowering individuals to break through barriers, embrace change, and build healthier, more fulfilling lives.
I’m a therapist who is passionate about helping individuals of all ages and backgrounds navigate life’s challenges and connect more deeply with their strengths, values, and goals. Whether you're dealing with the effects of trauma, navigating anxiety or depression, managing ADHD, or simply seeking greater clarity and balance, I provide a supportive space where healing and growth are possible. With years of experience in both mental health and advocacy, I bring a social justice and multicultural lens to my work. I’m committed to creating an inclusive, supportive environment for all clients—regardless of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity; where you feel seen, respected, and heard.
I entered the field of social work 10+ years ago to advocate for and assist others in finding their voice. I quickly learned I was able to use my skills to help clients overcome obstacles and navigate broken systems. Over the course of my career, the need to address mental health disparities became apparent, as did the lack of available providers to do so. I became a licensed therapist to help clients live a life free of shame, one that is authentic without needing anyone else’s approval.

There’s no denying that life isn’t always a walk in the park. While I’m sure you can relate to this as an adult, the same goes for kids, teens, and college-age students. Don’t forget, they’re going through this life without a manual, just as you are.
But life is also spectacularly beautiful.
Unfortunately, the trials faced during any phase of life can often dim that beauty and hold your child back from living the life they deserve. Anxiety, depression, and self-doubt can creep into anyone's life at any age. Mental health challenges can rob them of happiness, self-confidence, and life-fulfillment.
I get it. I’ve been in their shoes. As an experienced, understanding, and caring counselor for teens, children, and young adults. I can help support your child, whether they are elementary-school-aged, in the turbulent teenage years, or college-aged.
And, because I value being an advocate for kids and an ally for parents, I can support you, too.
Welcome! I'm Cindy.
Taking the step to explore therapy is an act of courage and self-care. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just curious about personal growth, therapy can be a space to pause, reflect, and find strategies that actually work for you.
Becoming a therapist came naturally. Growing up, I was the friend people turned to for a listening ear and nonjudgmental perspective. I loved helping others sort through their thoughts and feelings, always believing they are the experts of their own lives. That approach guides my work with every client.
As a first-generation American born to Caribbean parents, I understand the unique pressures and strengths of the African diaspora. I’m passionate about destigmatizing mental health care, serving historically underserved communities, and helping people tap into their resilience to feel more confident and empowered.
In our sessions, we’ll explore challenges like anxiety, depression, life transitions, or self-care struggles and build practical strategies that fit your life. I focus on helping clients set boundaries, communicate assertively, and reclaim a sense of control and purpose.
Therapy is a space to reflect, grow, and create the life you want. If you’re ready to take that step, I’m here to walk alongside you.
Hi there! I am a married Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist for residents of Florida and Minnesota. I received my Masters degree in Tampa, Florida and have been practicing for 10 years. I help adults get from point A to B by asking Solution Focused questions. People have a lot more potential then they believe. My job as your Therapist is to ask you the questions that will make you think about your past accomplishments, skills/strengths, resources and experience and see if someway, somehow those 'solutions' can help you move forward in a more positive, productive way today.
If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by anxiety, stuck in depression, quick to anger, or frustrated in your relationships — you’re not alone. Many of the people I work with feel like something just isn’t working, but they can’t quite explain why. Often, these struggles come from early experiences where emotions were ignored, dismissed, or too much for the adults around us to handle.
As children, we learn fast: if expressing emotions doesn’t feel safe or accepted, we push them down. Over time, that emotional disconnection can turn into anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, or anger that feels hard to control.
My work focuses on helping you understand where these patterns come from and how to shift them. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety that won’t quiet down, depression that feels heavy, anger that shows up too fast, or relationship challenges that keep repeating — we’ll work together to untangle the deeper story and build healthier ways of coping, connecting, and feeling.
This isn’t just about managing symptoms — it’s about helping you reconnect with the parts of yourself that have been shut down for too long.
I specialize in helping professionals and creatives break free from emotional blocks, burnout cycles, and old narratives that no longer serve them. Whether you’re overwhelmed by overthinking, disconnected from your joy, or simply tired of living on autopilot, I’ll help you find clarity, balance, and a deeper sense of self-trust.
High functioning doesn’t always mean fulfilled, and it takes courage to admit when success on the outside doesn’t match how you feel inside.
Our work together will blend insight with strategy, so you not only release what’s been weighing you down, but also gain the mindset and habits to move forward with confidence and purpose.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 17 years of experience supporting adults through anxiety, burnout, ADHD, trauma, and major life transitions. My background includes work in medical settings, hospice and palliative care, residential treatment, and outpatient therapy, which has given me a strong understanding of how emotional health is impacted by real-life stressors, caregiving responsibilities, and health-related challenges.
Many of the individuals I work with are high-functioning and used to managing a great deal in their personal or professional lives. Over time, this level of responsibility can lead to chronic stress, emotional exhaustion, and difficulty maintaining balance. Clients often come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, mentally drained, or frustrated that what used to feel manageable no longer does.
I provide a supportive, non-judgmental space where you can slow down, gain clarity, and better understand what is contributing to your current challenges. My approach is both compassionate and practical, helping you develop tools to manage stress, improve focus, and navigate life in a way that feels more sustainable.
