My name is David Mancuso, and at the heart of my work is a belief that every person carries an untold story—one shaped by survival, family dynamics, unspoken pain, and the longing to feel whole. I help clients reconnect with the parts of themselves they’ve had to silence in order to function. My approach blends depth-oriented psychotherapy with a direct, grounded style that invites honesty, clarity, and personal evolution.
I draw from years of clinical practice, trauma-informed training, attachment theory, and my own lived experiences navigating complex family systems. Because of that background, I understand what it means to rebuild a self from the inside out. Clients often come to me during moments of transition, emotional exhaustion, identity confusion, or relational upheaval. They stay because our work helps them find their center again.
While I bring a calm and steady presence, I also show up with real engagement. I don’t sit back passively—I’m interactive, reflective, and attuned to the subtle patterns that shape how you think, feel, and relate. Therapy with me is an active process of reconnecting with your original self, strengthening your internal structure, and learning to move through the world with more confidence, emotional clarity, and integrity.
Above all, I care deeply about the people I work with. My intention is to offer a space where you feel understood, supported, and challenged in meaningful ways—so you can step into a more grounded, connected, and empowered version of yourself.
As a licensed therapist in Colorado, Georgia, Alabama, and Florida I specialize in supporting individuals navigating complex emotional landscapes. Welcome to Growtherapy !! My name is Yvonne Ricketts. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with the State Board of Florida. I have been providing face to face and virtual psychotherapy to children and adults for over 16 years. I earned a Masters of Science degree in counseling psychology (MS)at Palm Beach Atlantic University. I have also been employed in various community agencies and have additional on the job training and experiences in various modalities.
My caring, empathic, and non -judgmental ability has allowed me to serve effectively across cultures and diversities. Ensuring that I treat all my clients as unique individuals, in a collaborative effort while they navigate their therapeutic journey. in an understanding and caring atmosphere.
Hi, my name is Luz, my pronouns are she/her/hers, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). I worked as a teacher for over 15 years before making the journey into a community mental health career. I have experience in mobile crisis response, trauma, forensic mental health concerns.
To explain who I am as a therapist, I reflect back to my role as an educator. In the classroom, there was a movement for the teacher to be less of a “sage on the stage” (teacher-centered approach) and more of a “guide on the side” (student-centered). To me, therapy is a lesson plan for a learning experience. It's a guide to develop what the client needs to learn in order to cope with whatever barriers are showing up in the client's life, whether that barrier is an internal issue, such as self-image, or how to cope with work stress.
My therapeutic perspective is to provide empathetic, non-judgmental, compassionate guidance and support in an atmosphere of respect and safety while allowing clients to be the experts of their lives, much like “a co-pilot, a sous chef, or an assistant manager” of a client-therapist relationship. I use solution-focused elements to help move toward desired goals, cognitive behavioral techniques to challenge unhelpful thoughts, and motivational interviewing to help gain understanding and clarity. Outside of traditional therapy, I enjoy the practices of mindfulness, guided meditation, aromatherapy, and Reiki.
Finding a therapist that's the right fit can be a challenging task, but taking that first step towards a healthier you is worth it. I look forward to working with you to help break down those barriers and make progress in areas that most matter to you.
My work encompasses individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, ADHD, depression, manage or improve addictive behavior, emotional dysregulation and life transitions (including women's issues). My work is informed by formal training in EMDR as well as, traditional talk therapy with a strong foundation in CBT and DBT—but therapy with me isn’t about rigid techniques or worksheets for the sake of it.
I focus on helping clients understand why patterns exist, not just how to manage symptoms. EMDR allows us to work at the root level and utilize the integration of traditional talk therapy with CBT and DBT. Cognitive and Dialectical behavioral therapies provide practical tools for navigating daily life such as, mindfulness practices and working to defeat cognitive distortions that impact our relationships. I integrate these approaches thoughtfully, adapting the work to the person in front of me rather than forcing a one-size-fits-all model.
Clients often describe my style as direct, solution focused, collaborative, and grounded. The bond that is created between us is the most important, and I believe meaningful change happens when therapy feels both safe, person centered and honest—where insight leads to action, and healing is something we actively build together.
Are you feeling insecure, anxious, have a pattern of overthinking, or simply stressed, and unmotivated. I'm here to assist you in gaining clarity over your life I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialogue to meet your unique and specific needs by identifying your therapy goals and working towards healthy, productive, life -affirming solutions.
My counseling style is client -focused and somewhat laid back. I have been described as supportive, caring and compassionate, with a pretty good sense of humor. I like to focus on identifying your strengths and helping you maximize them to overcome your obstacles. I utilize motivational interviewing, mended with empathy, compassion, and gentle guidance, to assist you in a solution-based approach, I am here to help you sort through the things that are difficult right now, and offer you a safe place to be open and honest without fear of judgement.
My approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, an evidence-based approach that focuses on helping clients understand how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are interconnected, so that they can begin to make targeted change. I work to help clients understand their physical response to external stressors, and begin to problem-solve ways to introduce moments of calm, to choose to respond rather than react in the face of change.
My name is James Smith. I am a graduate of Florida State University College of Social Work. I lived in FL nearly all of my life, until in 2024 I had a chance to live closer to family in TN. My primary practice has been in the medical field, especially working with seniors with dementia and hospice. I currently work with dialysis patients. I am currently licensed in FL and TN and open for new patients. I believe that most individuals needing therapy already have the answers that they seek and need a trusted individual to listen to their concerns. When problems arise, I help you to navigate through your ideas, provide feedback and help you find success. I enjoy spending time with my family, training for and completing triathlons and working for better handwriting tools for lefties.
Raymond Navarro has experience working in substance abuse and mental health. He received extensive training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), trauma-informed mental health care for children and adults, and substance abuse treatment. Before becoming a counselor, I spent 12 years as an educator, which gave me a deep understanding of the academic, social, and emotional challenges that young people face. Today, I work with clients ages 10 through 35, supporting them through the pivotal transitions of adolescence, young adulthood, and early professional life.

With over a decade of experience in the mental health field, I’ve had the privilege of helping individuals overcome depression, anxiety, ADHD, PMDD, phobias, PTSD, and trauma. I also work with clients coping with grief, relationship challenges, and substance use concerns, as well as those seeking clarity in college, career, and personal growth.

I use humor, authenticity, and flexibility to create a space where clients can feel comfortable being themselves while working toward lasting change.
Clients can expect a warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative environment where we’ll uncover strengths, challenge limiting beliefs, and develop practical tools for emotional balance and growth. Together, we’ll create a path toward a more confident, fulfilled, and purpose-driven life.

I worked in the Talk program at Wounded the warriors talked; I listened.
Trauma Supportive Therapy is used to safely address, as slowly as need be, the pain of the past that keeps coming to trip your defenses in the present at all the wrong moments. I can be that supporting presence who will help sort it out by listening, sincerely hearing you, reflecting the depth of your feelings back to you. I practice the therapy of defining personal meaning, so, together we will think about your options, planning, purpose, and goals for living a meaningful life without being afraid of tripping over your past or yourself.
I practice person centered therapy by meeting you where you are. I strive to be culturally sensitive, non-prejudicial and use strength-based therapy as a jump point, truly believing I am the guide for you, but you are the treasures and wisdom keeper. Of all the reasons people come to therapy: anger, guilt, anxiety, changes, transitions, depression, trauma, jealousy, and “it is just not working anymore”, the extra burden of race and racism is more than just a nuance to be nodded at in therapy. I will view race as central to all the other pieces, when it is central to you.
I am inclusive, secular, competent, affirming, and non-judgmental. I have worked with people in transition, people who are very much defined, “but things got complicated”, people in the communities of LGBTQA, Polyamory, Kink, non-gendered. Each are safe and welcome here.
Welcome! I’m passionate about making therapy a safe space for you to explore your challenges, uncover your strengths and find actionable strategies that work best for you. I take a collaborative, supportive and relatable approach to ensure therapy feels like a comfortable place for you to share your story and grow. I strive to empower you towards self-acceptance, help you manage your emotions effectively and build resilience. I understand that each individual’s journey is unique; therefore, each client’s therapeutic care is tailored to meet them where they are at.

John Checkett is the first man in history to earn a master's degree in Women's Studies in Florida.
How many times has this happened to you: You've made an innocent remark, and the other person distorts it and blames you for the distortion, not for what you actually said. That's called the Strawman Argument and is a common problem of communication -- communication typically being the single biggest problem couples have. Communication is one of the social sciences, and one of John's specialties, along with Women's Studies, Pastoral Psychology and Clinical Social Work.
He helps high-functioning men and women free themselves from low self-esteem and negative thinking. Hi there, I am Charly.
As a clinical therapist, I admire your willingness to seek therapy support. I want to offer understanding, and empathic emotional support to assist anyone experiencing emotional distress.
Most people tend to suffer silently in their heads, or minds, due to conscious or subconscious, self-blame, shame, or guilt feelings as they seem to feel helpless. Individuals experiencing acute emotional distress due to mental health conditions often fail to realize that unresolved, deep internal pain or heartache is silently triggering their emotional distress.
One school of talk therapy called, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), proposes that the lack of the capacity for "Psychological Flexibility" and our brain's default, or Survival Mode functioning the instinctual responses of "Flight or Flight," as required for human survival.
As, your therapist, I am willing to support you in exploring your difficulty or distress and examine the mental barriers or psychological blinders causing you to feel internally conflicted and stuck. Some of my past and current clients tell me that "my ability to relate to them with an open mind and withholding personal judgment and a solution-focused perspective," helps them to feel at ease and connect with me and my style of therapy.
I follow an eclectic approach to therapy, drawing from academic learning, experiential knowledge, and over 30 years of practicing experience using evidence-based treatment modalities based on scientific literature and up-to-date neuroscience research. I have training and experience in the following major treatment modalities such as CBT, REBT, SFBT, ACT, Mindfulness, and specifically to deal with trauma, a newer form of Rapid Eye Movement Therapy (Accelerated Resolution Therapy).
With over a decade of broad clinical experience, I provide compassionate, client-centered therapy to individuals navigating life transitions, emotional challenges, and complex medical concerns. I earned both my Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Master of Social Work from University of Central Florida and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Florida, as well as a Qualified Supervisor for Registered Clinical Social Work Interns in Florida.
My professional background includes work in hospital settings, home health, schools, outpatient therapy, and community-based care, allowing me to support clients and families across all stages of life with a well-rounded and practical approach. With this broad array of experience I have found myself working with young children as little as 4 and the oldest being 92.
I specialize in working with older adults and geriatric populations, while also supporting individuals and families experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, caregiver stress, postpartum adjustment, life transitions, chronic illness, new medical diagnoses, and long-term planning concerns.I have extensive experience working collaboratively with families to strengthen communication, improve coping, navigate care-giving responsibilities, and provide emotional support during difficult seasons of life. So glad you're here! I strive to create a space where clients feel safe, respected, and free to be fully honest about what they are experiencing. I believe therapy works best when clients feel supported while also being encouraged to look at things openly and directly. I value transparency, curiosity, and practical growth, and I work with clients to help them better understand themselves, build resilience, and make meaningful changes in their lives.
I’m a warm, compassionate, trauma-informed therapist who works with women and adults navigating anxiety, loneliness, self-worth, relationship and family challenges, and major life transitions. My goal is to provide a space where you can feel genuinely understood, make sense of what you’ve been carrying, and reconnect with yourself as you move toward what comes next
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and PsyD Candidate in Clinical Psychology specializing in trauma, mood disorders, anxiety, and complex relational difficulties. My clinical approach is integrative, combining evidence-based therapies such as CBT, ACT, CPT, and psychodynamic principles to help clients better understand not only their symptoms, but the deeper patterns shaping their emotional experiences.
My practice is grounded in compassion, cultural humility, and meaningful therapeutic connection. I work with adults navigating trauma, depression, anxiety, life transitions, and identity-related challenges, with a strong focus on helping individuals build insight, emotional regulation, resilience, and a greater sense of purpose. I believe healing happens when people feel seen beyond their symptoms and supported in making lasting, meaningful change.
