Hi there! I'm Leah, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Florida. In addition to my Master's degree and license, I have specialized training in treating trauma, anxiety and depression. I'm passionate about helping women overcome dysfunctional patterns of thought and behavior by safely navigating through past traumas, stepping outside of the people-pleasing pattern, setting boundaries and learning how to truly embrace their authentic selves. Personally, I'm a Mom, a best friend, a middle-child and free spirit. I value personal growth, freedom/independence, exploration, equality, individuality and compassion. When I'm not in the office, I love spending time with my family, traveling (there is no place I wouldn't want to go!), meditating, reading and exploring new foods.

With 25 years of experience, much research, studying, and face to face experience living and working all over the world, I realized relationships with yourself and with others can make or break our contentment in life! But there are skills to learn to make it happen, skills such as self-awareness, ability to pay attention to the world around us and our own bodies (mindfulness), learning to grieve and let go while embracing change, learning the characteristics of a healthy relationship with others and with ourselves, and accessing our strengths while focusing on the beauty in life.
