I am Craig Lampkin and a Native New Yorker. I became a Marriage and Family Therapist because I enjoy processing with individuals and listening to personal journeys, ultimately finding a resolution. I went to a Performing Arts High School in New York City. This experience empowered me to have a unique therapeutic approach. By providing therapy through visual cues and using various therapeutic methods and modalities, individuals can learn new coping, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. I received my BA from Binghamton University in Psychology and MS from Florida State University in Child, Family, and Consumer Sciences, emphasizing Family Relations. I am a Florida Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I am the owner of Rothschild Counseling and Consulting, LLC in Tallahassee, Florida. With over 30 years of experience working with children and families. My scope of practice in Marriage and Family Counseling, Domestic Violence and Batterer's Intervention, Child Welfare, Child-Parent Psychotherapy, Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Parenting, Anger Management, Child Development, Individual and Group Counseling. I enjoy going to the gym, movies, socializing with friends/family, and singing in my free time. As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I find this a unique challenge for couples and families. When two individuals enter a union, they bring a new relationship between their childhood experience and family life experiences. Marriage and Family Therapy's clinical journey brings together the unique qualities, challenges, and building a new foundation to create a new life together. I specialize in working with children and families in child welfare. I particularly enjoy working with young children and teens since these are some of the most challenging developmental years. Often, clients in this age group experience trauma and distress from systemic and familial patterns of behavior. Parenting is also a challenge. With all the daily stressors parents have in today's fast-paced life resulting In low parental capacities and protective factors. Working in trauma is challenging; when individuals experiencing domestic violence are batterers with low insight into their abuse, substance use has difficulty caring for themselves and others. I've worked with Human Trafficking victims and the LGBTQAI+ community. When individuals' basic needs, shelter, food, and clothing and not met, it's challenging to focus on their mental health challenges. Adolescents are a period of life with specific health and developmental needs and rights. It is also a time to develop knowledge and skills, learn to manage emotions and relationships, acquire attributes and abilities, and transition into adulthood. These are the years that mold our young population to blaze new trails and hand the torch to further our communities. I enjoy working with an individual with Developmental Disabilities. This unique population has an increase in resilience as they learn to understand the environment. I want to process with individuals through rehabilitation supports to ameliorate behavioral challenges. Collaboration with social and paid supports is pinnacle in this population's well-being to ensure stability while increasing coping, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. PLEASE NOTE: TO ENSURE APPOINTMENTS ARE STREAMLINED AND EASY TO MANAGE MY SCHEDULE, ALL APPOINTMENTS ARE ON THE HOUR. PLEASE BE MINDFUL THAT THE DAY AND TIME THAT YOU PICK FOR YOUR INTAKE WILL BE THE SAME DAY AND TIME FOR CONCURRENT THERAPY. IF ANY OTHER TIME SCHEDULED THE SESSION WILL BE CANCELLED. PLEASE TEXT ME FOR CLARIFICATION OR WE CAN DISCUSS THIS DURING THE FIRST SESSION.

Hi everyone! I'm Josh. Do you struggle with social anxiety and poor self-confidence? I know that overcoming it is possible! Many come to therapy because of childhood trauma and how it has manifested in their adult lives. Often this manifests in feelings of poor self-confidence, self-worth, and social anxiety. At its root, the fundamental belief of those who have social anxiety is the belief, “I am not enough.” Clients get into the habit of comparing themselves to others and it makes them feel inadequate and insecure. Over time clients begin to avoid situations that elicit their anxiety, particularly social situations. This can lead to social isolation and loneliness. Clients will present with complaints of frequent panic attacks, not having a romantic partner, not having friends, not being happy in their jobs and feeling disconnected from life. They are labeled by others as shy, quiet, or introverted. This scenario described myself for much of my life which gives me lived experience to better able to assist you. I help individuals combat their social fears and begin to live a rich and fulfulling life. I do this through cognitive behavioral therapy techniques primarily but also integrate solution-focused therapy, assertiveness training, exposure therapy, and acceptance & commitment therapy. Whether you're a teen struggling to make friends and socialize or you are an adult unable to speak up at work meetings or unable to ask someone out on a date, I'm here for you! Seeking therapy can be frightening but I want to assure you that you will be most welcome if you take that leap of faith!

There are so many messages that you’ve probably lived with growing up that don’t work for you anymore. Messages that make it hard to be present, to get things done, or make you feel like you're in "survival mode". Maybe you’re expected to move on from some hard times – or hard losses. Or maybe you’ve always had to be the “Perfect One”, the “Black Sheep” or the “Silent One” in your family. But there’s so much more to you than your struggles or the labels that have been placed on you. You don't have to live life feeling overwhelmed with negative thoughts, numbness, or expectations every day. You deserve to live authentically. You should speak to a counselor who recognizes that there is tremendous beauty to the person you are already. Your blood is of rich ancestry, heritage, triumphs and identity. I already know you have all the tools you need to live more mindfully. Every now and then we may all just need the support to see it. Let's talk!

Maybe you are struggling with things that happened in your past that are keeping you from living a full life. Maybe you have been feeling lost or overwhelmed due to difficult situations or relationships. Maybe you have been feeling isolated, lonely, or just simply not like yourself lately. If you are going through any of these hard things or the other difficulties of life, I send you loving-kindness. I love being able to compassionately support people like you who want to see meaningful and noticeable changes in how they view themselves and the world around them so they can stop being afraid of life and start living it. I believe in the resiliency, dignity, and worth of my clients, even if they struggle to see those things in themselves -- because let's face it, being a human being in modern life is hard and you deserve your own kindness! I empower people who are trying to heal from a variety of issues -- substance use problems and recovery, past trauma or childhood family dysfunction, relationship troubles, mental health disorders or symptoms such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, or trouble adjusting to life changes. My background is working with people dealing with substance use disorders and past trauma, homelessness and poverty, legal issues and incarceration, as well as providing mental health therapy services for all ages. To treat anxiety or depression, I will typically work with you for 6-8 sessions utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy or exposure and response prevention (ERP). You can expect to learn skills and education about the disorder you are experiencing so that you can "be your own therapist" at the conclusion of therapy. Treatment plans are collaborative and you can expect homework between sessions.

I first start my journey working in neurofeedback which has allowed me to work with a diverse population from children to seniors with issues with ADHD, autism, sleep disorder, anxiety disorders, depressed mood and a plethora of other neurodivergent individuals for about 7 years. My life then continues to work at a survivor's center where I worked with victims of domestic violence, violent crimes and grief for about 2 years. I also gained experience with the LGBTQIA+ population where I worked closely and ran groups with individuals of the trans experience. Moving forward, I have worked with suicidal children and adolescents that have been under a Baker Act which has given me experience in with family systems for about 4 years. If you like what you can read so far, reach out to me and schedule a session. Hope to hear from you so we can start working on those goals that you may have for yourself.

Hi! I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor dedicated to helping individuals improve their mental health and gain a sense of well-being. Often times, we aren't living in the present. We're either stressed, depressed, anxious, too busy looking back on the past, or lost in thought with hopes for the future. This leaves us losing the ability to enjoy the present, and the present is what ends up creating our future, as well as creating the moments we will one day look back on. Together we will address the challenges you face, uncover your strengths, and cultivate new coping skills to help you be more present and navigate life's difficulties while gaining a greater ability to celebrate and appreciate life's successes. Through therapy, I aim to equip my clients with the necessary tools to regulate emotions, reduce anxiety, see other perspectives, and effectively cope with stress, ultimately enabling them to lead a more balanced life.

Hi, I'm Cinthya! Here’s a few things I believe that I emphasize with my clients. 1. Perfectionism doesn’t exist. 2. You are stronger and more resilient than you think, AND give yourself credit for. 3. No one has lived your life for you. No one else really knows your life. Only you know your truth. 4. Everyone is capable of attaining their goals and finding that peace in their life they deserve. 5. It takes a lot of courage to admit we even need help sometimes, let alone take the steps to find it. 6. Change begins with awareness. 7. There are many ways to see the same thing, so challenge your perspective. 8. It’s okay to make mistakes. You’re human. 9. Emotions are valid even if they’re “wrong.” It’s what you do with them that really matters. That said, I’m not here to tell you how to live your life. I am here to help you figure out what you want out of your life and takes steps to get there. I look forward to working with you!

Together, we'll move beyond trendy (and often bypassing) techniques and create lasting, more meaningful changes in your life. My approach is holistic and wellness based which means I understand that all those patterns that may be currently keeping you from stepping into your next best Self/life served a purpose at one point in time - you won't find any judgment here. I customize your care to your specific needs to help you connect with your innate ability to heal. In our sessions, I blend compassion, some humor and a few f-bombs with holding you accountable and calling you in to cultivate the healing you deserve.

Sometimes life becomes unmanageable on our own and we have to reach out for help. I am here to help normalize therapy and the discomfort that comes along with it. I am trained in EMDR, a modality used to help process traumatic memories and the cognitions associated with them. I specialize in working with individuals suffering from chronic anxiety, depression, complex trauma, emotional dysregulation, identity issues, addiction, LGBTQ+ issues, and everyday life stressors that can be difficult to manage. I provide a holistic approach in my practice utilizing methods from multiple modalities that include helping regulate emotions, manage anxiety and panic, and learning to heal from past trauma. I believe that it is crucial to look at things from a trauma-informed and cultural perspective in all aspects while working with individuals.

If you are looking to work with a “real" person, I will meet you where you are, and you will be encouraged to be your true self, unapologetically. Bad humor (usually in the form of puns or dad jokes), geeking out over the latest Marvel show/movie, and discussing the latest video game releases can be commonplace in your sessions. Additionally, you will receive the time of someone who truly loves to help other people. My passion has always been to help other people heal and grow. Some things you may have gone through might be uncomfortable to talk about, but I will take every step possible to support you through your journey.

Welcome, This probably isn’t the first step you’ve taken on the path towards your own self-actualization. Often, we get really good at getting by and solving the problem on our own. Sometimes we figure it out, and other times we don’t. Or it works for a while, until we hit a new phase. Or maybe, it’s just too difficult to do the dishes when the world is on fire. I see that you’ve been trying, and I see that life is fucking hard. You may not have reached out to someone before now because a safe space wasn't available. You may have felt outcasted, or othered, or morally wrong for feeling what you're feeling. I am here to tell you that your experience is morally neutral, and you deserve a place to process it. When we get stuck solving problems on our own, we often become rooted in these complex systems we’ve created, yet to be unearthed. These existed long before we had any say in the matter, likely from early childhood development. But now you are in control. You get to decide what stays and what has decayed. My task is to be a mirror, to help you see the forest through the trees, and walk alongside you through it.

I have been working in the mental health field since 2014. I earned my Bachelors in Psychology from Texas A&M University- Commerce and my Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. I think that we need to be the safest when we are able to be with ourselves. I have also found that life has the ability to make that hard at times and through my own journey of struggling and learning about my mental health, I learned a lot about being human. I don't believe that we are born resilient, I believe it is built into us through getting knocked down and learning different ways of getting back up. This isn’t always fun but it's always worth it. A journey toward change needs to be deliberate, I believe by humanizing ourselves we are better able to accomplish this. I have worked with individuals, families, and couples for many years and believe that we all behave in harmony with the system, however chaotic it is. I believe that in order to change it is important to first gain insight into the problem, second awareness, and lately compassion in order to allow for a change, as nothing grows when it is poisoned. I believe that learning to love ourselves is our greatest task but becomes our greatest treasure once we understand the task. I have learned that for many of my clients, their adolescent years were the most impactful in terms of their outlook on themselves and their sense of self, purpose, shame. I believe that this is an area that is very important to focus on; as our shame is the dialogue that we have with ourselves. My goal is to help individuals gain a better sense of purpose and understanding within themselves, while showing compassion to their humanness. I believe that the only way to truly grow is to learn more about what makes each person uniquely them and use that as a catalyst for growth and change. I am all about empowering my clients to learn who they are, so they can better love themselves, and be better able to obtain and maintain a happier and healthier life.
