I also enjoy working with families with issues related to trauma, terminal illnesses, blended families, and phase of life issues. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is paramount for growth, meaning the relationship between therapist and client is of the utmost importance for success. I have been told that I have a gentle, soft demeanor that makes clients feel relaxed and easily engaged during sessions. By using self-reflection, one becomes more aware of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. My desire is to help you achieve your goals by exploring interventions you can use for a lifetime. Let's start this journey together.

Hi, I'm Laurie. I believe therapy works best when you feel comfortable enough to be yourself, without fear of judgment. My approach is warm, compassionate, and collaborative. I strive to create a space where you can be honest about what you're experiencing while feeling supported, challenged when appropriate, and empowered to make meaningful changes.
I enjoy working with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, self-esteem, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I understand that everyone's story is unique, so I tailor therapy to each person's needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. I integrate evidence-based techniques with practical tools that clients can use in their daily lives.
Life has taught me that resilience doesn't mean never struggling—it means learning how to move through difficult seasons with support and self-compassion. I bring that perspective into my work by meeting clients where they are and helping them build on their strengths. Whether you're seeking relief from stress, greater confidence, or a deeper understanding of yourself, I'm committed to helping you reach your goals in a way that feels authentic and sustainable.
Hello, my name is Ana Ruiz, I am a Licensed Marriage Family and Child therapist. My work focuses on trauma, attachment disorder, anxiety, depression, life transitioning and parenting. My priority is to offer a strength-based approach that works for you. My goal is to provide you with the tools necessary for you to transition from surviving to thriving and provide an environment where you feel heard and validated. I work with children and adults. I am bilingual in Spanish.
I am a licensed clinical social worker specializing in supporting trauma survivors, LGBTQIA+ clients, gender affirming therapy for trans and non-binary clients, and those seeking to explore patterns of thinking and feeling and how they can connect to the past, trauma, or difficult family dynamics. In my sessions, I’m hoping clients will feel my authenticity, sincerity, warmth, and humor. I hope to create a space where people look forward to coming and spending time together as we explore and make space for healing & self discovery.
Trauma or difficult dynamics with caregivers can leave us feeling hurt, angry, confused, or anxious. We also might feel like we don't know ourselves, like everything is our fault, that we have to be perfect, or like bad things are bound to happen. Trauma can get played out in our relationships which can cause conflict, confusion, and hurt. Because trauma happened in relationships, it can be healed in relationship. I try and create a sense of safety, care, and emotional warmth so we can begin the important work of healing. These elements can give people a restorative experience where they can express feelings and truly feel held and seen.
I also use a psychodynamic lens; looking at the past and childhood to make sense of current feelings and behaviors. This can involve looking toward the unconscious to help reveal important themes and emotional needs. I value a collaborative and strengths-based approach, working together to build on your strengths and discover ways you hope to grow, change, expand or explore themes in your life. Together, we can work toward creating a more stable or stronger core sense of self.
I’m also newly trained in EMDR and have found this incredibly helpful for clients needing to reprocess difficult memories, experiences, or ways of thinking and feeling.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master of Science in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling and a degree from UC Davis. I have worked in the mental health field since 2001, serving children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families in a variety of clinical settings, including residential treatment, substance use treatment, and domestic violence and sexual assault programs.
I strive to provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental, and collaborative environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. My goal is to help people better understand themselves, strengthen relationships, overcome challenges, and move toward meaningful, lasting change.
I believe in treating the whole person and value an integrative approach that considers emotional, relational, physical, and spiritual well-being. I support evidence-based practices while recognizing that each client's journey is unique. My work is informed by ongoing professional education and a commitment to remaining current with research and best practices.
My own life experiences, including overcoming significant adversity and serious health challenges, have deepened my empathy and reinforced my belief that healing and growth are possible. These experiences allow me to connect with clients with authenticity, hope, and understanding.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time with my family, homeschooling my two children, teaching, reading, camping, swimming, and serving as a leader with the Civil Air Patrol and Scouting America.

My name is Javi Gonzalez, and I am a Hispanic therapist originally from Mexico. My personal and professional background has shaped the way I connect with clients, especially men from the Latino/Hispanic community who are navigating addiction, depression, cultural identity, family expectations, relationship conflict, anxiety, and stress.
I understand that many Latino men are taught to stay strong, keep problems private, and carry emotional pain alone. In therapy, I work to create a space where clients can be honest without feeling judged. My style is direct, respectful, practical, and compassionate. I believe clients deserve both support and honest feedback as they work toward meaningful change and resolve your problems.
My own life experiences have given me a deep respect for resilience, survival, and the effort it takes to build a different future. I know that issues like poverty, cultural pressure, family responsibility, community violence, immigration experiences, and addiction can deeply affect how a person sees themselves and relates to others.
I help clients identify unhealthy patterns, develop better coping skills, improve communication, and build healthier relationships with themselves, their partners, and their families. I especially enjoy working with Spanish-speaking clients who want therapy that feels culturally familiar, honest, and focused on real-life progress.
My goal is to help clients feel understood, take responsibility for change, and move toward a more stable, healthy, and meaningful life.
I believe that meaningful therapy begins with listening. I take the time to understand each client's current concerns while also exploring the experiences and history that have shaped their life. By gaining a deeper understanding of both the present and the past, I can better recognize patterns, strengths, and challenges that influence overall well-being.
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and nonjudgmental. I strive to create a space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported as they share their experiences at their own pace. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, I work to understand the whole person, recognizing that each individual's story is unique.
Through thoughtful listening and curiosity, I partner with clients to identify meaningful goals, build insight, and develop practical strategies that support lasting growth and positive change. My goal is to help clients feel empowered, understood, and equipped to navigate life's challenges with greater confidence and resilience.

Hello. My name is Ana and I am a bilingual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (128445), in the beautiful state of California. I have been in the counseling and social work field for 25+ yrs. Simply stated, I was born to do therapy, it is a gift and an honor. I have worked with children, teens, elderly, foster care, gang members and most recently, death row inmates in prison.
I have found through many of those experiences that emotional pain, feeling alone and having anxiety or depression, is common and universal. However, I also know that the desire to live a deeper, peaceful and meaningful life can also be a driving force. I too have done much of that internal work and reflection in my life. I have learned that it is OK to be just me, no longer fearing to live the life that I have earned and deserve. I would love the same for you.

This practice experience and armed me with the humility to connect with all cultures, intersections, and identities.
I am passionate about the impact of spirituality in mental health therapy. As an attachment informed humanist LPCC, I consider the bio-psycho-social-spiritual/existential condition of the folks with whom I work. Healing is a matter of integrating the disparate and fragmented parts of life. Empathy, acceptance, positive regard, and genuineness are crucial elements for effective therapy and these are the characteristics I seek to cultivate in my practice. As far as a specific toolkit, CBT and Motivational Interviewing are the primary evidence based methodologies I employ to be with people in their self-paced, goal oriented healing efforts. Those who want to examine the angst, anxiety, disquiet, and friction in their lives will find a fellow traveler in me.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California and licensed in WA with more than 20 years of experience providing individual, couples, and family therapy. My areas of expertise include depression, anxiety, anger issues, and self-harm ideation and behaviors. I want to get to know you and what might be happening with you that you are seeking counseling for. Many times people come to therapy when they are in some type of distress. Sometimes this is conscious and sometimes not. If you are struggling or distressed for some reason or grieving a loss in life, ( or not sure but something has changed) I would like to see how we can work in therapy.
The way we work will depend on the issues you bring to therapy. I have experience with different approaches to therapy including but not limited to HUMANISTIC THERAPY (includes the importance of personal responsibility, and a positive, non-judgmental approach), STRUCTURAL FAMILY SYSTEMS (includes the importance of family structure and healthy boundaries), GOTTMAN (includes helping couples communicate better, resolve conflicts constructively, and create a shared sense of meaning), CBT (generally includes a short-term approach that helps you identify and change negative or unhelpful patterns of thinking and behavior to improve your mood and overall well-being).

Hi, I’m Andrea, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist originally from Costa Rica. I specialize in working with young children and their caregivers, helping families navigate emotional, behavioral, and relationship challenges with greater confidence, connection, and understanding.
Many of the families I work with are feeling overwhelmed by frequent meltdowns, anxiety, behavioral concerns, school difficulties, or the lasting effects of stressful and traumatic experiences. My approach is rooted in the belief that children thrive when they feel safe, understood, and connected to the important adults in their lives. With specialized training in trauma, attachment, play therapy, and PC-CARE, I provide an integrative and family-centered approach that supports both children and their caregivers. I am known for being warm, engaged, and deeply invested in the families I work with. I strive to create a supportive space where parents feel empowered and children feel seen, valued, and understood.
As a bilingual therapist and someone who understands the experience of navigating different cultures, I bring cultural sensitivity and curiosity into my work. My goal is to help families move beyond survival mode and build stronger, healthier, and more connected relationships.

I do this by offering a safe, compassionate, culturally-sensitive approach. With a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by us all, I work to create a safe space for healing, empowerment, and growth. My goal is to support individuals in navigating their experiences, reclaiming their strength, and building resilience for a healthier, more fulfilling life.
Hi, I’m Dr. Cathy Evangelatos, I look forward to supporting you on your journey toward healing and growth.
I am a licensed clinical psychologist in California with a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology.
I also hold a Master’s degree in Theology, enabling me to offer specialized Christian-integrated therapy for clients who desire to integrate their faith into their personal growth and healing.
I hold a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, which provides significantly more rigorous training and expertise than a standard two-year Master’s-level therapist. Psychologists typically complete 5–7+ years of doctoral-level education beyond a bachelor’s degree, with extensive training in evidence-based psychological interventions, assessment, diagnosis, and advanced treatment approaches. In contrast, most Master’s-level therapists (such as MFTs or LCSWs) complete a two-year graduate program focused primarily on relational and family systems work. This advanced doctoral training allows me to deliver deeper, more nuanced, and highly effective care — empowering you to achieve meaningful, lasting change with greater insight, precision, and support than a standard Master’s-level therapist can typically provide.
