Hi, I'm Vong!
I've always been someone who genuinely enjoys connecting with people. I find it meaningful to listen, understand what someone is going through, and help them recognize the strengths they already have. That passion naturally led me to become a therapist, and I feel grateful to walk alongside my clients as they navigate life's challenges and create the changes they're hoping for.
Wither you are starting therapy for the first time or returning, it is my goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, heard, and accepted. When I'm not in the office, you'll probably find me cooking, exploring hiking trails, or checking out local car shows and enjoying time with family and friends. I look forward to meeting you and supporting you on your journey.
I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine human relationship. My goal is to create an environment where you feel accepted, challenged, and supported—not judged. I'll celebrate your successes with you, help you make sense of the difficult moments, and gently point out the patterns that may be holding you back. I bring curiosity, humor, and compassion into my work because meaningful growth doesn't have to happen in a room that feels cold or intimidating.
Few, if any, of us grow up in an environment that perfectly fits our needs. As we grow, we adapt to our surroundings in ways that may run counter to our vitality, health, and happiness. By exploring and understanding the underlying emotional and psychological patterns that shape our lives, we are able to develop choice in whether to engage in patterns and habits that no longer serve us. As a psychotherapist, I provide a curious, and compassionate presence, lending my heart and mind to this process of self-exploration and self-understanding.
