Welcome. I help clients navigate midlife and later life transitions. My goal is to help you feel as mentally and emotionally well as possible while moving through these changes with greater ease. I find it deeply rewarding to help clients discover meaning and fulfillment during these stages of their lives. In our sessions, I listen closely and support you as you work through challenges. I help you gain insight and develop practical psychological skills, so you feel less anxious and depressed, have more satisfying family relationships, thrive at work or enjoy retirement, and live in alignment with your values. I support clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, hormonal changes, and illness. I help people navigate challenging family relationships, caregiver burnout, grief, and career and retirement transitions. I also help clients overcome hoarding and overwhelming clutter. Life can be full of challenges that leave us floundering. Are you feeling a lack of self-confidence and questioning your purpose? Let me help you get back on track. For 40 years I have worked with people navigating postpartum depression/anxiety, grief, caregiving, illness, cancer survivors and codependency. I am also versed in spirituality. My own life experiences have given me the depth of understanding that I bring directly into this work. I believe people are more resilient than they know. If you are ready to find that in yourself, I would be honored to walk that path with you. I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who specializes in supporting women through some of life’s most significant transitions. I work particularly with seniors, postpartum mothers, and spiritually minded women who are searching for greater purpose, meaning, and direction. I wrote a book for new moms and also have taught Kabbalah. I have been practicing as a psychotherapist since 1985 and have gained lots of wisdom from my own experiences of being a widow and caregiver, a cancer survivor, a mother and a spouse. It seems that in my profession, the older we therapists are, the more we are able to help.

Nice to meet you! I'm glad to cross paths with you as you're thinking about taking the next steps towards your own mental health journey. Seeking and asking for help can be one of the most difficult parts but I hope to help make that journey a bit easier for you. I have been a therapist for the past 5 years helping both children and adults, however, am now wanting to focus on supporting people navigating life transitions (school, work, relationships), depression, self-esteem, loneliness, as well as men's issues. I hope that I can be someone to help you with whatever it is that you may be going through and know that you don't have to do it alone. Asking for help is the strongest and most courageous thing we can do.

I have worked in residential treatment, psychiatric care, family courts, and with individuals who have been incarcerated. My wide range of experience has allowed me to see all different types of people and help them all the same. I currently work with clients who are children, teens, and adults. Hello, I was born and raised in Stockton, California. I enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps at the age of 17 and in 1997, after 25 yeas of service, I retired from the Marine Corps as a Master Sergeant. After retiring from the Marine Corps, I worked as a Farrier (Horseshoer), as well as a structural welder (Ironworker), as those were the most marketable skill that I had. I came to a point where old injuries came back to haunt me and I could no longer walk (several years later, thanks to a surgery through the VA, I can walk again; thankful for that). At this point, I changed professions and out of a desire to work with veterans, I returned to school, accomplishing all that was necessary to become a licensed counselor. I spent another career working for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically as a counselor in the Readjustment Counseling Service (Vet Center). I recently retired from the Vet Center and now I work part-time here with Grow Therapy. As a retired Marine senior staff Non-Commissioned Officer (SNCO) and disabled combat veteran myself, the Vet Center was the perfect job. Vet Centers provide readjustment counseling to combat veterans and provide counseling to survivors of military sexual trauma (MST). Vet Centers also provide group counseling, bereavement counseling and couples counseling when this is determined to be of support to the veteran. Readjustment counseling many times consists of treating/addressing symptoms related to post-traumatic stress (PTSD), I.e., anxiety, depression, exaggerated startle response, hypervigilance, sleep disturbance, etc. Many veterans go on to work as first responders and working with many first responders as well as medical personal, has provided me with a great deal of additional experience.

My vision in life is to help people understand and be changed by the fact that they are precious, valuable, and loved. What we believe about ourselves shapes the thoughts we have and the decisions we make, so my goal is always to start with identity since everything flows from that. When we learn how God truly views us, we have the ability to gain renewed perspective and tools for how to deal with the anxiety, depression, and other turmoil life brings.

I am a dedicated and highly motivated client-focused Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California. Therapy does not have to be dry, boring, or scary and it's okay to have fun in therapy. We all share in the HUMAN EXPERIENCE! So I may not have the same experiences as you, however, I know what feels like to make mistakes, experience hurt, love, loss, pain, and fear. I also know what it’s like to rebuild myself and have success again. Everyone experiences a range of thoughts, feelings, emotions, and situations that shape and mold us. Therefore, working with people in their time of need motivates me to help them find balance in their lives. (*If you are ordered by the courts to attend therapy, then you would need to find another clinician, as I do not do court-appointed therapy. Also, if you are dealing with suicidal ideations or self-harm, I do not specialize in that area and would direct you to clinicians who are best suited to assist you. Thank you for your understanding.

I'm Danielle Nunes, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California. I see individual adults throughout the state by telehealth. You lead people, make decisions, and carry responsibility for outcomes that affect other people's livelihoods. That does not stay containedinside the workday. My clients are founders, executives, business owners, physicians, attorneys, and managers who are successful by every outward measure and are carrying more than the people around them realize. They come to me when a hard quarter starts to feel likea verdict on them, when an employee problem sits with them at dinner,or when they know exactly what conversation needs to happen and keep putting it off. I have been licensed since 2017 and have worked in behavioral health for more than a decade. I also spent years leading inside large organizations, responsible for teams, budgets, and outcomes. In our work together, we focus on what’s actually happening in your day-to-day life and how to create real, noticeable changes—not just talk in circles. I aim to keep sessions practical, collaborative, and grounded so you leave with clarity and a better sense of direction. Clients often tell me they appreciate having a space where they can be honest without feeling judged or analyzed. You don’t need to have the “right words” or a clear plan before starting—we’ll figure that out together. If you’re looking for therapy that feels straightforward, supportive, and focused on helping you move forward, I’d be glad to work with you.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I provide a safe, accepting, and mindful environment as well as culturally sensitive services for children, adults, and families who are experiencing difficulties with emotional stress such as anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, behavioral issues such as ADHD, defiant, and oppositional behaviors, culture-related stress such as immigration and issues regarding identity including gender variant clients. I strive to help clients move beyond the point that prevents them from living fulfilling lives. In helping clients to realize their life goals, I'll assist them in identifying possible ineffective responses to life stressors and coping patterns in order to replace them with those that lead to a higher quality of living.

Hi there and great job on taking that first step in considering if therapy is right for you. I invite you to come with me on a journey of your own choosing where we will walk together in darkness to find the light you’ve been seeking. Whether it’s life’s little annoying stressors or more complex issues, as a trauma survivor myself, I know firsthand what this is like and wouldn’t wish it on anyone. Whether you choose me or another therapist, make the choice to just give it a try. Sometimes all you need is another person to hold the light while you do the work you need to heal.

I have experience working with children, families, and individuals as a social worker since 2003, and as a licensed clinical social worker since 2017. Prior to training as a therapist I worked as an advocate for children, youth, and families in various community based non-profits. Witnessing families succeed as I helped ease their burdens led me to the path of clinical social work! I consider it a privilege to be invited and entrusted with the task of walking alongside you during a challenging moment in your life. Seeing you grow and succeed is one of the best rewards I could ask for.

Hello. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with 10 years of licensure and 25 years of experience in social work overall. I've sat with people through some of their hardest moments, first in hospitals and crisis units, then alongside therapists, psychiatrists, and nurses in community mental health, and now in private practice. I specialize in working with adults dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, ADHD, life transitions, burnout, and grief. My approach draws from evidence-based methods including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), somatic work, narrative therapy, and psychodynamic thinking. I pull from whichever approach fits the person and the moment. Our work together can be structured and methodical, creative and intuitive, or a mix of both. Some clients want concrete tools. Others want space to talk things through. Both are welcome, and we adjust the approach to what works for you. People are remarkably specific in their struggles and strengths. The exact way someone shuts down, springs into action, or just endures is worth paying close attention to. I have a "come as you are" mentality. Tired, grumpy, not sure what you want to say, or showing up with a set agenda, all of that is welcome. I don't want anyone to feel like they have to perform. I work with adults throughout California via telehealth and accept a wide range of insurance including Kaiser, Aetna, Cigna, Anthem, Blue Shield, UnitedHealthcare/Optum, and Medi-Cal through Partnership HealthPlan and other managed care plans. ** For more about my background, approach, and the areas I serve, visit joelmorrisonlcsw.com.
