Hi, I'm Danielle. I specialize in therapy for founders and leaders navigating the emotional weight of building — burnout, identity shifts, and the pressure of always being "on." With 14 years in operations, leadership development, and my own entrepreneurial journey, I understand this terrain personally, not just clinically. My ideal clients are founders and organizational leaders who are high-functioning, self-aware, and carrying more than they let on. They're often in the messy middle — that disorienting stretch between who built the business and who it now needs them to become. What brings them in is usually burnout, anxiety, relationship strain, or the quiet realization that success on paper doesn't mean they're okay. I help them move forward by understanding the patterns underneath the pressure, rebuilding a relationship with rest and identity, and learning to lead from a more honest, sustainable place. There's a reason people say building a business teaches you more about yourself than therapy ever will. I'd agree. It's one of the most profound and disorienting journeys a person can take. That's exactly why it helps to talk to someone who genuinely gets it. Who I Work With -Founders navigating the shift from builder to leader -Leaders in organizations carrying high-stakes responsibility -High-achievers who are doing well by every external measure and know something still needs to change
In the first session with me, you can expect the initial session to focus on you. I want to learn about you, your background, experiences, and what challenges you're currently facing. You will have the opportunity to discuss your goals for us working together. I want to make sure our sessions are as intentional and helpful as possible. I will clarify what you can expect from the therapy process, including the frequency and duration of sessions, confidentiality, and any specific therapeutic approaches or techniques I plan to use. You are encouraged to ask questions, at any time, throughout our work together.
I don't need you to explain what it costs to make a hard people decision, or why you can't always say what you're really thinking in a leadership meeting. I understand the terrain and I've also worked alongside founders on the operational side of building and scaling businesses. That context informs how I see your challenges, even when our work together is squarely in the therapy space. I'm a business owner, a consultant, and currently building a software company. I'm not observing entrepreneurship from the outside. I'm living it alongside you, which means when you walk in and describe the particular exhaustion of wearing every hat, the pressure of a decision that keeps you up at night, or the strange isolation of being the one everyone looks to. I don't just understand it clinically. I get it personally. I have a particular focus on what I call the messy middle — that disorienting stretch where you've outgrown the founder version of yourself but haven't fully stepped into the leader your company now needs you to become. It's one of the least talked about and most psychologically demanding seasons of building, and it's where a lot of my work lives. Building takes grit, hustle, and an ability to push through when everything is telling you to stop. I'm not here to slow you down. I'm here to make sure the weight of it doesn't break you in the process. The best builders I know work hard and do the inner work. If that resonates, reach out to me. What Brings Leaders to Therapy: -The relentless pressure of being always on — and learning to step down from that without losing yourself or your edge -The identity shifts that come with growth: who you were when you started isn't always who your organization needs you to be now -Anxiety, burnout, and the particular loneliness that comes with being in charge -Relationships strained by the emotional bandwidth that leadership demands -The internal tension between ambition and wanting a life that feels like yours again
My specialties typically converge around the psychological cost of building a business and/or leading. I work with founders and leaders who are high-functioning by every external measure, but who are running on fumes, stuck in the messy middle, or realizing that hustle alone isn't going to get them where they need to go. This is therapy for people who don't slow down easily. My specialties include: -Burnout -Anxiety -Stress -Work/Life Balance -Life Transitions -Identity Development -Leadership Development -Entrepreneurship -Career Counseling -Self-Esteem -Perfectionism -Relationship Issues -Decision Fatigue -High-Achieving Professionals -Business Owners & Founders
