I’m a therapist who primarily works with men dealing with relationship struggles, trauma, and anxiety that’s started to affect work, family, and daily life. I’ve worked in a men’s trauma center as well as in private practice, so I’m very comfortable sitting with the heavier stuff that most guys have learned to keep to themselves. My style is direct, non‑judgmental, and very relational, think real conversation, honest feedback, and a focus on what actually helps you feel and live better, not just “talking about your feelings” for an hour.
I am a compassionate and thoughtful therapist who values collaboration and consistency as essential parts of meaningful progress in therapy. I have had the privilege of working with individuals across the lifespan—from early childhood through older adulthood—and I am deeply grateful for the trust each client brings into the therapeutic space. I believe therapy works best when it is a shared process, grounded in curiosity, respect, and flexibility.

I have experience working with:

-Transitional Aged-Youth (16-25 years old)
-Adult psychiatric hospital setting
-Adult outpatient treatment centers
-Adults with disabilities (assisting living independently)
-Integrative-Health in a health clinic (ages 5 - 65+ year olds).
Working with many age groups and ranges throughout my career has humbled me to believe we are all in a quest to maintain a good quality of life within all phases of life.
Let's meet to discuss ways we could work together for you to reach your desired outcomes!
Do you often feel drained, sad, or unmotivated? What about emotionally unavailable, stressed, or anxious? It is possible that you are being weighed down with constant stress revolving around school, family, or work. Life can get messy and bring even the strongest of people down sometimes. We all need someone who will listen, be non-judgemental and encourage us when we are at our most vulnerable state. This is what therapy is all about. Therapy is a safe place where you can explore your thoughts and emotions without being judged. You will learn healthy ways to cope with your struggles.
I enjoy working side by side and supporting adults who are struggling with self-esteem, stress, anger, anxiety or depression. I believe it is important to build healthy relationships through learning appropriate communication and social skills. My focus is on helping my clients process and identify their repressed emotions through therapeutic strategies such as mindfulness, art therapy, or journaling. As your therapist, it will be my job to equip you with the coping skills needed to aid you as you go through this journey of life.
In life, we all go through moments when we need support, clarity, and a safe place to explore what’s getting in the way. My goal is to offer a flexible, creative, and non-judgmental space where you can heal and understand yourself more deeply. I work with older teens, young adults, and individuals navigating big transitions—identity exploration, relationships, school, work, and the pressure of stepping into adulthood. I also support LGBTQIA2S+ clients and provide gender-affirming letters.
My approach is collaborative and grounded in evidence-based practices such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Seeking Safety, and the Gottman Method for couples. I value meeting you where you are and using creativity, mindfulness, and curiosity to support your growth.
Hi there!
My name is Kaila Gray and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in California. I am excited that you have stopped by my profile & are looking into therapy! Please read some more about me below to see if I could be a good match for you.
I have been working in the mental health field for some time now and I have a wide variety of experiences. I have my bachelors degree in psychology and a masters degree in counseling and guidance. I have spent the first part of my career working with students in the school setting as a school counselor. I started working via tele therapy because I was hearing from coworkers, families, local community and students that I work with that there were no therapist with open availability. I want to do my part to help those that are brave enough to look for help.
I believe that therapy is not a one size fits all. I am flexible and willing to build sessions based around what YOU need. I will provide you a space to learn and grow with no judgement and all the compassion I have to offer. I believe that we can overcome our struggles & I want to help you do that!

I believe in meeting clients where they are and creating a safe, respectful space where they feel heard, validated, supported and empowered throughout the therapeutic process.

Hi, I’m glad you’re here. For over 12 years, I’ve been passionate about helping people move through difficult seasons of life and create positive, lasting change. My background includes work in education along with earning my Master’s degree in Counseling from the The University of Texas at San Antonio. I’ve had the opportunity to support both adults and children in diverse settings, including private practice, nonprofit organizations, the United States Navy, and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. I approach therapy with compassion and curiosity, recognizing that each person’s journey is unique, and I work collaboratively with clients to foster healing, growth, and greater confidence moving forward.
I’m a relational therapist who works with adults and couples seeking a more intentional, connected, and fulfilling way of living. Many of the people I work with feel caught in patterns of people-pleasing, perfectionism, overfunctioning, or burnout—often finding it difficult to relax, be present, or feel truly connected to themselves or others.
I am in-network with Kaiser, Aetna and other insurance.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and culturally attuned, integrating insight-oriented and experiential work with practical tools. I support clients in understanding the patterns shaping how they think, feel, and relate—including the impact of upbringing, culture, and expectations—so they can reconnect with their internal compass. My goal is to help you align with your values and feel more grounded, authentic, and at ease in your life and relationships.

Change is scary and uncomfortable, but if you can choose to show up anyway, amazing things can happen. I realize coming to therapy can be tough and so I like to make your experience with me as safe and comfortable as possible.
I hope to hear from you soon.

Hello,
If you’re on this website I want to applaud you for your bravery and courage to seek services.
I believe our earliest relationships shape how we understand ourselves, connect with others, and cope with emotional challenges.
In therapy, I help clients explore how early relational experiences influence present-day patterns in relationships, self-worth, and emotional regulation. Rather than focusing on “what’s wrong,” we work to understand what once helped you adapt and how those strategies may no longer be serving you.
I take a relational, attachment-informed approach, using the therapeutic relationship as a safe, supportive space to build insight, foster emotional growth, and create meaningful, lasting change.
I am a licensed mental health provider in California and Missouri and have helped clients with stress and anxiety, motivation, self-esteem, confidence, depression, and coping with life changes. Hello!
I have always felt a deep calling to help others. Early in life, I recognized that my passion lay in supporting people as they navigate challenges, discover their strengths, and make meaningful changes. This calling led me to pursue a career in mental health and become a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California.
My academic background in psychology began at Universidad de San Martín de Porres in Lima, Peru, where I completed four years of psychology studies in 1980.
I earned my Master’s degree from Pacific Oaks College in 2013 and completed my Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Marital and Family Therapy at The Chicago School in 2021. To further enhance my clinical expertise, I have pursued specialized training through UCLA, with a focus on alcohol and substance use studies.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in the belief that every individual possesses unique strengths and the capacity for growth. I work collaboratively with clients to help them gain insight, build resilience, and move toward their personal goals. As your therapist, I strive to create a supportive, authentic, and compassionate environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered.
As a South American therapist, I bring cultural awareness and sensitivity to my work, recognizing the importance of honoring each client’s unique background, experiences, and values. My diverse clinical experience, combined with a commitment to ongoing personal and professional development, has shaped a client-centered approach that emphasizes respect, empathy, and genuine connection.
Clients often share that they feel safe, supported, and understood in our work together. They value the inclusive and affirming space we create, where they can openly explore their experiences and move toward greater well-being and fulfillment.
I utilize a positive theoretical orientation which assumes that all individuals possess an innate desire for well-balanced emotional/mental health. I believe a person enters therapy with a strong wish, whether conscious or unconscious, to overcome obstacles and free themselves from constraints that are holding them back. I find that everyone needs a slightly different approach to accomplish these goals, so I adjust in technique for each specific challenge. I truly enjoy the experience of guiding my clients through this process and consider it a privilege to play such an important role in a person's life.
“Crying does not indicate that you are weak. Since birth, it has always been a sign that you are alive.”
