I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works with adults navigating life transitions, anxiety, and stress. I’ve spent over a decade providing therapy within a community behavioral health setting, helping clients make sense of where they are and move intentionally toward what’s next. My approach is practical, structured, and focused on real change - so therapy feels purposeful, not endless.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is focused on getting a clear understanding of what’s bringing you in and what you want to change. We’ll talk through your current challenges, relevant background, and what feels most important to address right now. I’ll ask targeted questions to identify patterns and begin shaping a direction for our work together. By the end of the session, you can expect more clarity about your situation and a sense of how we’ll move forward, including initial goals and next steps. You won’t be expected to have everything figured out - just come as you are. My role is to help you make sense of where you are and begin creating a path forward.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What sets my work apart is the balance between insight and action. I don’t just help you understand why things are happening - I help you decide what to do next and how to follow through. I bring a structured, goal-oriented approach shaped by years in behavioral health leadership, where clarity, accountability, and real outcomes matter. Clients often come to me when they feel stuck or overwhelmed but know they’re ready for change. I’m particularly effective at helping high-functioning individuals who are carrying a lot on the outside but feel uncertain or disconnected internally. I also integrate Motivational Interviewing to help you work through ambivalence and strengthen your commitment to change. That means we don’t force solutions - we build alignment so the changes you make are sustainable. The result is therapy that feels focused, intentional, and forward-moving - not open-ended or passive.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with adults who are navigating change and want to move forward with intention. Many of my clients are managing anxiety, stress, or burnout while trying to figure out what’s next - whether that’s a career shift, relationship change, or a new stage of life. I’m a strong fit for people who are open to self-reflection but don’t want to stay stuck in analysis. They’re ready to understand their patterns, make decisions, and take meaningful action. I often work with individuals who are high-functioning on the outside but feel overwhelmed, uncertain, or disconnected internally. They’re looking for clarity, direction, and practical tools - not just a place to vent.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. Together, we identify patterns that keep you stuck and develop practical strategies to shift them. This approach is especially effective for anxiety, stress, and life transitions.

Strength-Based

My work is grounded in a strengths-based approach, meaning we focus on what is already working in your life. Rather than only addressing problems, we build on your existing resilience and capabilities to create forward movement and sustainable change.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Solution-Focused Brief Therapy is designed to create change quickly and intentionally. We focus less on analyzing the past and more on identifying what you want moving forward, then building clear, actionable steps to get there.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your experiences openly. This approach emphasizes collaboration, trust, and helping you reconnect with your own insight and direction.

Trauma Informed Care

I approach all work through a trauma-informed lens, recognizing how past experiences can shape current patterns. We move at your pace, prioritizing safety, stability, and empowerment
