I have worked in the mental health field for more than 2 decades, in a variety of settings and capacities. I look forward to helping you become the best version of yourself.
Our first session will be an opportunity to become familiar with each other, through non-judgmental exploration of what brought you to seek therapy. Together we will develop achievable goals and set a course for treatment, if you decide we are a good therapeutic team.

I utilize a strength-based approach, informed by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. CBT helps us to understand the interplay between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors and therefore gives us a way to break ineffective cycles. CBT is effective for anxiety and depression.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy can be applied to other therapeutic interventions or as a stand alone approach to develop a centered and grounded sense of self. Mindfulness helps to refocus us back to the present moment, allowing us peacefully and calmly experience the moment for what it is.
Solution Focused Brief Therapy is an excellent approach for issues addressed in teletherapy. The focus is on empowerment and strength identification to navigate through interpersonal and situational challenges.
