Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
This method helps patients deal with denial, helps patients navigate through difficult emotions. ACT helps patients focus on treatment as well as manage negative aspects of the problem. This ensures client participation in the treatment plan and leads to excellent health outcomes.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
CBT affords clients the ability to learn practical self help strategies for modifying or changing unhelpful thoughts and behavior. The strategies and assignments are discussed during sessions for better time management.
