Mental illness is as real as any physical illness. We talk normally about cancer and diabetes, although the same should apply to mental illness. Emotional and mental health are just as important as the physical health of a human being. The emotional trauma that a brain endures in various of the human life cycle can be damaging and in the long run, just as detrimental as a psychical illness.
People donate their organs, but they cannot donate their brains. Some people live with human-made hearts, but there is no such thing as human-made brains. I believe that our brain is the most important organ in our human body, so why don’t we start taking good care of it?
Therapy is not only for people with mental illness. Therapy is for everyone. We all have faced or currently face some hardships in life. Talking to a therapist can help you deeply in improving your mental health, decrease your stress and live with more joy and intention! Make your appointment today!

HeIlo. My name is Tracey and I am pleased you are here. Just to share a little bit about myself. I am a wife and a mother. I have worked as a licensed clinical social worker for fifteen years, however I have over twenty years of experience in counseling. Guided by Christian values of grace, hope, and compassion, I seek to support clients in a way that honors both their emotional well-being and, when desired, their spiritual journey. I believe healing occurs through a combination of understanding, truth, and practical action, and I tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each individual.
You may feel desperate, alone, and misunderstood. You feel like you are floating in the bottom of a lake and cannot see the light above you. Everyday, you feel like you are just going through the motions. If this describes you, then I may be the therapist for you. In my nearly twenty years of experience, I have helped people like you reach their potential and achieve the recovery that they needed. There is no set system or quick fix as others may promise, but I will walk down the road with you. My primary focus is on helping you deal with ambiguity. Often our thoughts and subsequently what we teach ourselves becomes rigid and fairly black and white. Using a pragmatic and authentic approach to therapy I try and help you be okay with things that are beyond your control and work with you to establish yourself as the protagonist in your own story. This is primarily accomplished through conversation and allowing you the client to guide the therapy in the direction it needs to go.
I am an experienced professional with a strong background in supporting people facing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety and depression, life changes, lack of confidence, communication issues, and chronic illness. I work collaboratively with clients to identify practical, meaningful changes that can create the greatest positive impact in their lives.
My approach is interactive, respectful, direct, encouraging, and sometimes includes a bit of humor. I strive to create a supportive environment that is both encouraging and authentic. All are welcome.
If you’re ready to move toward meaningful change, I invite you to take the first step today.
I do not treat substance abuse or addictions. I do not do court related work.
