Hello, I am a Clinical Psychologist with over ten years of experience helping individuals of various ages to overcome a wide range of diagnoses and mental health struggles including anxiety, depression as well as grief and trauma. I have done so in a number of settings including my own private practice, hospitals, schools and community health centers. I am grateful Growtherapy gives me the opportunity to be able to help individuals such as yourself.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

A typical session is an opportunity for clients to talk about what they want and what has been most relevant to them since the previous session whether this is bad or good. Areas of difficulty are explored to identify problematic patterns and find ways to cope in a healthier, more compassionate way. It is also important that the client is able to discuss and process his/her, their feelings related to current or more distant experiences. Positive behaviors and events are highlighted and reinforced.

As a provider, I offer a wealth of experience that allows me to offer excellent and well-informed care to a diverse set of individuals. I also pride myself on my kind and compassionate nature as well as my sense of humor that allows me to connect with clients and help them through their most difficult times.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I am passionate about helping adults and young adults to find the strength in themselves to overcome and navigate the painful feelings that often comes with life's many challenges including life transitions, relationship difficulties and loss. This often involves assisting those individuals to treat themselves with greater compassion and move beyond the shame and self criticism that can get in our way in order to achieve greater success and happiness.
