I’m Isabel, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with adults and adolescents navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, life transitions, and suicidal thoughts. I understand that reaching out for support can be difficult, especially when you’re feeling overwhelmed, hopeless, or stuck. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. I integrate EMDR, Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR), CBT, and nervous system-informed approaches to help clients better understand themselves, process difficult experiences, and build lasting resilience. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, or thoughts of suicide, we’ll work together to identify what’s getting in the way and develop a path forward. I strive to create a therapeutic relationship that feels genuine, supportive, and nonjudgmental. My goal is to help clients feel understood while building the insight, confidence, and tools needed to create meaningful and lasting change.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know each other and discussing what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask questions about your current concerns, personal history, and goals so I can better understand how to support you. There’s no pressure to share everything right away—we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable and work together to create a plan that fits your needs.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I bring a balance of compassion and honesty to therapy. My goal is to create a space where clients feel genuinely seen and understood while also helping them identify patterns that may be keeping them stuck. I tend to be warm, collaborative, and engaged, offering both support and gentle challenge when needed. Drawing from trauma-informed, nervous system-focused approaches, I help clients build insight, strengthen self-trust, and create meaningful change that extends beyond the therapy room.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with adults and adolescents who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from themselves. Many of my clients struggle with anxiety, trauma, low self-esteem, relationship challenges, people-pleasing, perfectionism, or difficulty setting boundaries. I enjoy helping clients better understand their emotions, build confidence, develop healthier relationships, and heal from past experiences that continue to affect their present lives. Whether you’re navigating a difficult season, processing trauma, or looking to create lasting change, I provide a supportive space to help you move forward at a pace that feels right for you.

My treatment methods

EMDR

EMDR helps people process difficult experiences that continue to affect them in the present. It can reduce the emotional impact of past events and support healing from trauma, anxiety, and negative beliefs about oneself.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT helps identify and change unhelpful thoughts and behaviors that may contribute to anxiety, depression, stress, or other challenges.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their experiences, build self-awareness, and work toward their goals.
