Every day-to-day life pulls us in many directions, and sometimes when we feel overwhelmed lose focus. You may have tried to deal with your problems, and your way may not be enough and you may not be able to deal with them on your own. Let's work together to develop a more effective plan so you can achieve your life goals.
Are you struggling with your life directions due to addiction? Is it hard for you to be positively selfish and focus on your own problems as a priority?
Whether you're dealing with any substance addiction or negative behavioral dependence, I'm here to help. Understanding that your way was not working and Seeking therapy is the first crucial step to make the change. You're making the right choice now. You deserve a safe space to heal and grow. In our sessions together, I'll meet you with compassion and evidence-based techniques so you can overcome the hangups and habits holding you back. Let's work together!
You're exhausted from carrying everyone's emotions and wondering when someone will hold space for yours. You've mastered the art of being strong for others, reading the room, offering wisdom, holding space. But beneath that strength is a quiet fatigue, a longing to be seen without needing to explain, fix, or perform. As a licensed therapist and exhorter, I guide spiritually attuned, emotionally sensitive individuals into deeper healing, where your voice is no longer muted, your emotions are no longer sidelined, and your presence is no longer diluted to make others comfortable.
First of all, I love what I do and to witness the positive changes clients make in their lives as a result of choosing therapy to help them accomplish what they want. Often the goal is to achieve symptom relief so as to not be overwhelmed by anxiety, mood disorders or be better able to manage the challenges of ADHD. Sometimes there is not a specific outcome identified but a need for ongoing support for dealing with life transitions or difficult people. Sometimes clients use therapy as a confidential sounding board where they can talk to an objective outsider about situations and sort out their perspective. I offer various ways to see and respond to situations that might otherwise not be considered. Your opinion as a client is the most important one and I will also honestly provide mine when asked for. I believe therapy can actually be something that you can look forward to and an opportunity to learn new skills to use long after you discontinue, and we can even have some fun and laughs along the journey.
I use a collaborative approach with my clients to develop and work toward their personal goals. I offer a safe and inclusive space for my clients to explore their identities, relationships, needs, and desires. I have experiences working with adults, adolescents, children, couples, and families in a variety of settings, but most recently in direct, outpatient counseling delivered virtually from the comfort of my clients' homes, which I love!

Are you struggling with sleep or unable to turn off your thoughts or worries? There’s so much going on around us, it can be hard to catch our breath. Overthinking tomorrow and replaying yesterday can be exhausting for any of us. Anxiety steals valuable time from us and can cause incredible distress. Depression also robs us of time, and if you live with grief and loss, the pain may seem overwhelming. You are not your anxiety, or your depression, or your grief. These are affecting how you are, but these do not define you. I serve individuals in Wisconsin, North Carolina, and Virginia and have nearly 20 years of experience working with clients suffering with anxiety, many of whom have suffered trauma, loss, and live with grief. I enjoy assisting all ages of adults and have worked with many wonderful individuals in addressing life challenges, changes, and transitions. I know it can be especially difficult and uncomfortable to reach out and ask for help when you are already overwhelmed with a situation. I will always strive to provide a safe space for you to talk about whatever concerns are important to you. Some concerns are very private. I respect this and offer a supportive environment which is always free from judgment. I appreciate your time and hope you find who you need in these profiles. Thank you for considering me.

Namaste, my name is Ashwini Gupta and I am Therapist/Intuitive Life Coach specializing in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as well as Vedanta and Mindfulness-based practices. With 20 plus of experience helping individuals navigate life's challenges, I am passionate about empowering my clients to live more meaningful and fulfilling lives truly being in touch with the essence of soul identity.
Using ACT as my primary therapeutic approach, I create a warm and non-judgmental space where we can work together to address difficulties such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. ACT combines mindfulness, acceptance, and behavior change strategies to guide clients towards psychological flexibility, allowing them to better handle distress and align their actions with their deeply-held values.
What is ACT?
At its core, ACT is a behavioral therapy: it’s about taking action. But it’s not about just any old action. First, it’s about values-guided action. There’s a big existential component to this model:
**What do you want to stand for in life?
**What really matters, deep in your heart?
**What is the legacy do you want to create for yourself?
ACT gets you in touch with what matters in the big picture: your heart’s deepest desires for who you want to be and what you want to do during your brief time on this planet. You then use these core values to guide, motivate, and inspire behavioral change.
What is Vedanta?
Vedanta is one of the world's oldest philosophies which affirms the oneness of existence and the divinity of the soul. A close look at the word "Vedanta" is revealing: It is the combination of 2 words: "Veda" which means 'knowledge' and "anta" which means 'the goal of'. In this context, knowledge refers to understanding one's own divine nature- meaning and purpose in life.
