I have been practicing as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida for the past 23 years and am also a Licensed Therapist in Virginia, largely with a focus in the areas of depression, anxiety, thought disturbance, addiction, emotion regulation, relationship distress, and self-esteem. I feel many of the responses we struggle with are connected to a traumatic event (or perceived trauma) from the past. Currently, my primary focus has been in the individual realm, with a focus on relationship growth.
I will encourage you to prioritize the areas you wish to address in therapy and tailor my approach on an individual basis. I believe in client autonomy so the areas that are addressed are the areas you want to address.
I draw on several treatment modalities (including, but not limited to, Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy) to allow you to further develop your strengths and help you meet all of your treatment plan goals at a speed that works best for you. I also have completed training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy as well as the Developmental Model for Couples and integrate both of these approaches into my relational therapy practice.
Overall, I help you to see that managing the stressor is more important than just managing the stress as it will allow you to cope with anything that comes your way.

Hello, I’m Allison Patrick, a licensed therapist dedicated to helping individuals navigate grief, trauma, chronic illness, caregiving responsibilities, and life’s many transitions. I believe that healing happens when people feel truly seen, heard, and supported, and I strive to create a therapeutic space where clients can show up exactly as they are without fear of judgment.
My professional background includes working in hospice care, where I had the privilege of supporting individuals and families facing serious illness, end-of-life concerns, and profound loss. Those experiences deepened my understanding of grief in all its forms and reinforced my belief that every person’s journey is unique. Whether you are mourning the death of a loved one, coping with anticipatory grief, adjusting to a major life change, or learning to live with a chronic health condition, I offer compassionate support tailored to your needs.
I also work with individuals who have experienced trauma, helping them process difficult experiences, develop healthy coping skills, and build a stronger sense of safety and self-compassion. For caregivers, I understand the emotional, physical, and mental demands that come with caring for others and the importance of finding balance while navigating those responsibilities.
My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. I believe that you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to help guide, support, and empower you as you work toward your goals. Together, we can explore the challenges you are facing, identify your strengths, and create meaningful change.
Seeking support takes courage, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside clients as they move through difficult seasons, discover resilience, and find hope, healing, and renewed purpose.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, mentally unsteady, or unsure how to move forward — you don’t have to carry that alone.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and graduate of North Carolina State University. I work with adults navigating anxiety, burnout, life transitions, relationship stress, and questions of direction or purpose. Many of the people I support feel capable and motivated — yet internally worn down, struggling to feel grounded, present, or confident in themselves.
My primary focus is helping clients stabilize emotionally and mentally — so you feel more anchored, regulated, and clear. From that place of steadiness, we begin to explore how you can grow into the fullest version of yourself, making the most of your strengths, values, and lived experience rather than trying to become someone you’re not.
Therapy with me is not about pushing or fixing — it’s about creating a solid foundation where clarity, confidence, and meaningful change can naturally emerge. For those who find meaning and strength in their Christian faith, I welcome that as part of our work together — though spirituality is never required or assumed. You bring what matters to you, and we build from there.
Hi, I’m a licensed psychotherapist specializing in individual, marriage, and family therapy. Since 2016, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals, couples, and families on their journeys toward healing. My path began as a behavior technician, giving me practical insight into emotional and behavioral challenges. As a therapist, I help people navigate trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship conflicts, emotional dysregulation, and burnout. My approach blends psychodynamic therapy, psychoeducation, and body-mind (somatic) techniques so we can explore emotional patterns, increase self-awareness, and heal the effects of stress and trauma held in the body. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck in cycles, or struggling to connect with yourself or others, I offer a collaborative, trauma-informed space for deep healing and growth.
I support clients with a wide range of concerns, including:
Grief and loss, mood instability, and psychotic spectrum disorders
Major life transitions like career changes, divorce, relocation, and new parenthood
LGBTQ+ support, spiritual exploration, and existential questions
Relationship and family dynamics, including co-parenting, communication, and attachment wounds
Chronic pain, body image, and somatic trauma symptoms
Workplace stress, burnout, perfectionism, and executive functioning challenges
Hello. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Virginia. I received my Masters from Walden University and have been practicing for seven years. I also enjoy helping folks with their career decisions and life transitions as well.

Who am I? I am HER: Hopeful, Empowered, Resilient. I am great. I am divine. I deeply believe that every one of us embodies the same greatness, the same divine essence. My mission is to help individuals recognize their own potential, embrace their unique strengths, and step boldly into a brighter, more fulfilling future.
My therapeutic approach is built on compassion, cultural understanding, and a commitment to personal growth. Drawing from both my West Indian heritage and my 10 years of service in the U.S. Navy, I bring a well-rounded perspective that acknowledges the challenges people face and the resilience they possess. I believe therapy should be a collaborative process, empowering individuals to push beyond their comfort zones, learn from life’s trials, and create lasting change through new habits and patterns.
In my practice, I focus on helping clients cultivate emotional wellness, navigate major life transitions, and build the skills needed to thrive in the face of adversity. Whether it’s developing healthy coping strategies, improving communication, or fostering a sense of inner strength, my goal is to guide clients on a path toward greater self-discovery and personal empowerment.
First of all, I love what I do and to witness the positive changes clients make in their lives as a result of choosing therapy to help them accomplish what they want. Often the goal is to achieve symptom relief so as to not be overwhelmed by anxiety, mood disorders or be better able to manage the challenges of ADHD. Sometimes there is not a specific outcome identified but a need for ongoing support for dealing with life transitions or difficult people. Sometimes clients use therapy as a confidential sounding board where they can talk to an objective outsider about situations and sort out their perspective. I offer various ways to see and respond to situations that might otherwise not be considered. Your opinion as a client is the most important one and I will also honestly provide mine when asked for. I believe therapy can actually be something that you can look forward to and an opportunity to learn new skills to use long after you discontinue, and we can even have some fun and laughs along the journey.
I am a licensed mental health professional with several years of experience working with individuals facing a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, and life transitions. My goal is to create a supportive and safe environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to take an active role in their healing process. I employ evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused techniques, and person-centered therapy, to help individuals gain insight into their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we work to identify patterns that may be holding them back and develop practical strategies to improve their overall well-being. I am committed to meeting each client where they are and guiding them toward meaningful, lasting change at their own pace.

Hi! My name is Diane Bales MS, LMHC, LPC. I am passionate about what I do. I love walking with clients through their journey of healing. I am known for really caring about my patients and I think that shows. I use an eclectic approach to treatment. I feel that everyone is different and not one approach works for everyone. I want my clients to feel that they have accomplished or overcome something during their time in therapy. Note I do charge for No show and Late Cancellations $70.00
You keep seeing everyone posting about being their best self, and showing up for themselves. Meanwhile you are just trying to be. Whatever that be, may be for the day. I believe that in order to be your best self, you must be authentic. What does that even look like? You must be true to what you’ve endured, the things that you have overcome…the good, the bad, and even the ugly moments. I help women to embrace them all. Then we take it a step further and look at building you up as a WHOLE. So your best self starts with where you are today and then we create a plan on where you want to be and who you want to become.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience counseling individuals of all ages. I also worked abroad (UK) for 2 years where I gained meaningful experience working with a variety of cultures.
I am Bilingual (EnglishSpanish) and, as such, recognize the importance of being culturally aware. I believe that my relationships with clients can be healing and that effective interventions start with a genuine human connection.
I look forward to hearing from you!

I'm Jay Varela, a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in TEAM-CBT — a structured, evidence-based method developed by Dr. David Burns at Stanford. I hold Level 3 Advanced certification from the Feeling Good Institute and train regularly with the Beck Institute.
Most therapy is open-ended. Mine isn't. I track your symptoms with the Burns Brief Mood Survey before and after every session, so you always know whether therapy is working — and so do I. The data tells us when to keep going, when to change course, and when you're done.
Most clients see significant improvement in 4-6 sessions. OCD typically takes 8-12. I treat anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, and relationship problems.
As a licensed clinical social worker, I am committed to collecting evidenced based "tools for my toolbox" to aid those grappling with finding the new normal after their world has shifted. I most love helping people find language to describe their losses, often when there has been difficulty finding the words, inspiring people to find hope again, and facilitate the development of a plan to move forward in a way that both honors their experiences and embraces the future.
I take an action-oriented, collaborative approach to therapy. I utilize a combination of psychoeducation, storytelling, and evidenced-based interventions to offer meaningful insight to support clients’ healing. I strongly believe that rock bottom is the foundation upon which we can rebuild our lives. We do regular check-ins to review progress along the way. Our goal is not to change the past, but instead to find some relief from symptoms that impact daily functioning. I will solicit feedback regularly during sessions for takeaways to gauge progress and curate treatment interventions based on what is most engaging and productive for the individual client.
Welcome !
