Hello! I am a licensed clinical social worker serving individuals in Illinois, Texas, and South Carolina. My background includes working with families who have faced abuse, neglect, and legal challenges.
I have also worked as a hospice social worker, where I provided support and education to families navigating the end-of-life process, helping them prepare to say goodbye to their loved ones.
In public schools, I conducted assessments and evaluations for students struggling academically, developed Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and offered social-emotional education and individual support for students dealing with issues such as peer relationships, bullying, anger, anxiety, and other challenges that can affect their learning and growth.
For several years, I have been in private practice, assisting both children and adults facing difficulties related to depression and anxiety, as well as supporting older adults dealing with lifestyle changes and health concerns. I also have experience helping individuals cope with grief.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a key element of my therapeutic approach. This evidence-based method equips clients with tailored tools and strategies. Together, we will identify triggers and explore ways to alleviate the physical and emotional symptoms you may be experiencing.
Having been raised in a military family and lived in various states, I have gained unique insights into community, culture, and the importance of building new relationships.
I am eager to learn and develop a trusting relationship with you as we work together to enhance your well-being and foster self-compassion on your journey.

Greetings! I’m a Licensed Therapist (LMHC in Florida, LPC in Texas). I also hold an International Registration in Play Therapy since 2000.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked in medical centers, community clinics/agencies, and private practice. My background includes both outpatient and inpatient care, working with children, adolescents, and adults in individual and group settings.
I have delivered parenting group sessions on multiple occasions and created the Victim Services Program in Greater Austin Area, Texas. I also participated in a joint effort to provide immediate mental health care within pediatric primary care clinics in the Dallas-Forth Worth Area for several years. In 2005, I was closely involved in supporting displaced individuals and families who relocated to Texas due to Hurricane Katrina.
I am bilingual (English-Spanish) and multicultural. With over 28 years of experience, I bring a compassionate, grounded, and practical approach to helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges. Whether you're facing anxiety, grief, work-related stress, parenting burdens, major life transitions, or struggling with self-esteem or women's issues, I offer a safe and supportive space where healing and clarity can begin.
I draw from a variety of therapeutic methods—including Humanistic, Motivational Interviewing, and Faith-Based approaches. I believe each person holds the seeds of growth and change, and my role is to help you discover your inner strength, wisdom, and direction.
My professional background, ongoing training, and continuous curiosity have given me a deep appreciation for the interconnectedness of all aspects of the human being. Together, we’ll focus not only on symptom relief but on building long-term resilience, insight, and tools for meaningful change.
Clients shouldn't have to be in therapy forever! Together, we'll co-create a balanced approach combining active listening with practical techniques, helping you reclaim your narrative and overcome obstacles. My clinical and holistic approach aims for deeper alignment and fulfillment—think more water, less soda.
As an LCSW, I'm trained in EMDR, certified in Theta Healing, Reiki, Transformational Life Coaching, and Therapeutic Touch, and am a Master Practitioner in Neuro Linguistic Programming, Hypnotherapy, and Time Line Therapy. I provide a compassionate, judgment-free space to explore your wants, needs, and emotions. You know yourself best, and our work is about uncovering your truths rather than imposing mine.
Together, we'll determine the tools and approaches that best suit your needs, ensuring you feel heard, validated, and empowered. The goal is to help you confidently manage challenges independently over time. We'll walk side-by-side, with you gradually taking the lead and me offering steady support. If you have pressing concerns, those always take precedence.
Our sessions focus on understanding HOW you think, not just WHAT you think, exploring both conscious and unconscious beliefs and emotions. You'll leave with clear, actionable steps, such as mindfulness exercises, creative writing prompts, meditation, and breathwork techniques to regulate emotions and reclaim your narrative.
Therapy isn't about fixing what's "broken" but enhancing alignment and fulfillment while overcoming obstacles. By focusing on your goals and measuring progress, we can eliminate stigma, leaving shame behind and empowering you toward greater self-awareness and fulfillment.
I am a counselor and a behavior analyst. I combine counseling with applied behavior analysis techniques. While counseling provides new perspectives, personal growth, and self-awareness, behavior therapy can identify and change behavior patterns, and even thinking patterns. Both therapies together can be very effective in meaningful change that lasts. I work with all ages and all individuals. I focus on coping skills, self-esteem, trauma issues, self-regulation, and achieving healthy self-care and independence.

Imagine life is like a journey completely in your control but you feel stuck. Choices you make dictate life’s obstacles and they can be tricky. Life’s journey comes with no instruction pamphlet or ready-made companions. A path unfolds and you decide what to do and who to trust along the way. As you journey you begin to see things you want, potential companions, places you want to explore, and tools you can use to make travels simpler. There are so many choices to make with no time to stop and contemplate the best decision; you have to keep going by making choices every day, about everything. Decisions and deadlines do not wait.
Consequences of decisions do not wait for preparations of readiness. Age does not determine how hard life can be nor deter reality. Whether you are age 5 or 95, you have to wake up daily and continue life’s journey, but it is not always an easy task. My theoretical orientation is Person-Centered Therapy and Gestalt Therapy. Let me be your Phoenix!
I believe life’s tools are inside of us, self-actualization, self-trust, coping strategies, and the willingness to grow. We simply must explore them. At Rapunzel's Phoenix Counseling Services, I help toddlers, children, adolescents, adults, families, and the LGBTQIAPK community. Online Counseling Services are available upon request.

Hi, I'm Mayra, thank you for taking the time to considering me as a companion in your therapy journey.
Therapy can be a challenge for some people so I like to provide gentle guidance. There is no single way of conducting therapy- everyone needs different approaches, resources and therapeutic support. I strive to help create a safe space for people to explore their identity (cultural, familial, sexual, etc).
I have worked in the medical field for almost 20 years in different roles. This has allowed me to gain different perspectives and have a better understanding of the medical community. Having been part of this community has allowed me to serve patients, caregivers, first responders and medical professionals.
Most of my adulthood has been spent in Austin and the Hill Country. I am a bilingual first-generation Texan and I’m happy to call Central Texas home. However, I was born and raised in South Texas and la frontera (the borderlands) is also very much part of my identity. I find that our cultures and family of origin at times play a role in how we choose to carry our experiences and expectations.
I have been working in the field of mental health for 14 years. I have experience working with a diverse range of people and mental health disorders. My professional background includes experience in the inpatient, outpatient, and intake hospital setting; non-profit agency setting; and, most recently, private practice. This experience allowed me the opportunity to work with children, adolescents, adults, and families utilizing a variety of unique interventions including cognitive-behavioral therapy, play therapy, eye movement desensitization (EMDR), and sand tray. I specialize in the treatment of trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), but I often take a client centered approach when building a trusting relationship with clients. Research shows that people who experience chronic mental health concerns have untreated trauma, which can occur from a variety of different experiences. Of course, trauma does not account for all mental health concerns, so it is important to be able to meet client's where they are at and provide interventions that are helpful to the individual needs of each client.

Hi, my name is Diane Darby and I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas and Tennessee.
I believe you are exactly where you need to be.... Right now. Rumi said it best: "The wound is the place where the light enters you." The suffering, the vulnerability, the anger and the fear are perfect opportunities to shine a light of awareness and begin healing. I offer a safe space for each awareness to unfold without judgement. My approach tends to be ecclectic and holistic, incorporating spiritual practices to raise your consciousness in order to create alignment with your heart, body, and soul so that healing may begin. I also have over 30 years of experience with techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing, (EMDR), Somatic Therapy, Mindfullness, and Internal Family Systems to gain insight, develop coping strategies, and achieve lasting change.
Clients consistently praise my empathy, practical guidance, and measurable improvements they experience, with one noting: "Tim is empathetic and encouraging. I'm on session 7 seeing improvements. 10/10." I believe therapy should feel like a cozy tea-time chat in your living room, creating a safe space where intimacy and authentic connection flourish naturally. I'm not your typical practicioner. I brings a holistic, modern approach rooted in CBT, narrative therapy, and trauma-informed care, supporting individuals, couples, and families through dating, marriage, or healing from the past. I tailor my approach to your unique story, helping you find peace, reconnect, and build lasting relationships, whether you're feeling distant, unheard, or weighed down by the past. Please respect my 15-minute wait policy. Sessions don't always start exactly on time due to back-to-back appointments. Just as clients can be a few minutes late without issue, practitioners deserve that same grace. Lastly, I don't provide documentation for work accommodations, emotional support animals, or leave requests, so if that's your primary need, I'm not the right fit for you.
