’ve felt called to become a therapist since I was nine years old, and that sense of purpose has stayed with me ever since. I began my career in a community mental health setting, where I worked closely with individuals experiencing severe mental illness and learned the importance of practical, real-life coping skills. That experience continues to shape my approach today—I focus on helping clients build insight, develop tools they can actually use, and feel more confident navigating their relationships and daily lives.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy slowing things down and staying grounded through gardening, crocheting, and camping. I’m also a big reader—especially when it comes to romance novels. Family is a central part of my life, and I value the many roles I hold as a wife, mother, stepmother, and grandmother. Raising both boys and girls—including twins—has given me a wide range of life experiences that help me connect with clients from all kinds of backgrounds.

Hello, and welcome. I bring 36 years of experience as a licensed professional counselor (plus four years in the field of mental health prior to licensure), having worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings specializing in mental health, addiction, eating disorders, and general psychiatric conditions. Alongside my work in treatment facilities, I have maintained a private practice for the full span of my career, giving me a deep, varied perspective on how people heal and grow.
My current focus includes behavioral change, addiction treatment, communication skills, life coaching, and business consulting. I'm also trained in hypnosis and in critical incident stress debriefing and management, and I have extensive experience supporting military personnel and federal public safety agencies in the aftermath of critical incidents. This background has given me a steady, grounded approach to working with people navigating high-stress, high-stakes situations, as well as those facing everyday life challenges.
Whatever brings you to counseling, my goal is simple: I want you to leave every session feeling better than when you arrived. I bring both clinical expertise and genuine care to our work together, and I strive to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and equipped with real tools for change. Greetings Beloved Clients!
I am Pam C. Lyons, a Certified Professional Coach and Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor for 15 years, and 20 plus years of life experience. I understand what it means to reinvent and rebuild my life several times as a Hurricane Katrina Survivor and as a businesswoman.
My practice serves as a safe place to the Texas community and a beacon of light. The slogan “Reinvent the World” was inspired by all the shared traumatic experiences going on in the world due to Covid 19, increase in mental and physical health problems, racism, toxic politics, lack of safety for our children, poverty, economic challenges, women not receiving equal pay, women rights being infringed upon, and survivors of natural disasters. We need a space to express our traumatic experiences safely, to be listened to and understood with empathy and compassion, and to receive coping tools to become the best version of ourselves so we can create a better world for our future generations.

I began my counseling journey as an adolescent, and eventually became a school counselor over a decade ago working with elementary to high school aged kids. I quickly learned that school counselors are not able to equip their students with necessary tools and as a result I began to pursue my LPC. At 10:23 I understand the importance of cultivating resilience and fostering healthy relationships to achieve our best life. Therapy doesn’t work when clients feel talked down to, rushed, or misunderstood. Many teens and adults I work with have tried therapy before and felt it didn’t really fit.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas, I bring both clinical training and lived experience into the therapy room. This allows me to connect in a way that feels genuine, grounded, and practical—especially for teens and young adults who are skeptical of therapy or unsure where to start.
