I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and reside in Texas, I am also licensed in Colorado, Florida, Utah, South Carolina, and Vermont. I specialize in helping you identify and overcome issues that hinder your day-to-day enjoyment of life and/or interfere with progress towards goals you have set. In over thirty years of private practice counseling I have learned to meet clients’ needs not only with continued education and research but also through a multitude of life experiences. I enjoy working with a diverse range of clients and have found that humor when utilized in an appropriate way and time can be very beneficial. I believe trust is a fundamental element in any relationship. This trust has to be developed and nurtured to remain genuine. Through trust other aspects important to the relationship can prosper such as comfort in being open, sincerity, and a willingness to change. I find that humor when utilized in an appropriate way and time can be very beneficial. I am a life-long Texan, however, I have traveled extensively and embraced many different cultures and location specific issues. Through all of life’s changes I have learned that, even with the best of plans, things still do not always work out the way we would like. I have experienced many of the same issues as my clients so can relate to them on a personal basis. This has also allowed me to acquire an understanding of what clients may be going through even if I have not experienced the exact situation. Through any adversity there is no reason to feel alone.

Welcome! I am Licensed Professional counselor and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with resilience and hope. With a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University, I bring both expertise and warmth to my practice. My journey into counseling was shaped by my commitment to empowering those at risk. I completed my practicum and internship in an Intensive Outpatient /Partial Hospitalization (IOP/PHP) treatment center, where I worked with individuals facing significant mental health challenges. That experience taught me the value of meeting people where they are and supporting them in finding their inner strength. I specialize in trauma-informed care, and individualized treatment planning. My approach integrates evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) with a personalized touch, always aiming to make therapy a safe, collaborative, and even uplifting experience. Beyond my professional credentials, I’m someone who believes in the healing power of humor and the magic of connection. When I’m not in session, you might find me diving into a good book, exploring creative pursuits, or advocating for mental health awareness in the community. If you’re looking for a therapist who brings both professional expertise and a friendly, down-to-earth vibe, you’ve found the right person. Let’s work together to bring balance, healing, and a little bit of laughter back into your life!

Life is complicated. Acknowledging that you may need some assistance is the first step, asking for help is the second. Whatever your struggle, I will listen. It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling & happier life & to take the first steps toward change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support & empower YOU! This new awareness creates a foundation for each individual to become more empowered to create change as he or she learns new skills to improve actions, reactions, and thoughts. Let 30 years of professional & personal experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, specializing in Trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, ADHD, relationship & parenting issues help you find a Better path to a Better YOU! Together, we will discuss how to best address your issues using a holistic approach. As a Trauma Informed provider, a combined, nuanced approach that best meets YOUR needs includes; Client Centered, Cognitive/Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, with Supportive, Mindfulness, Solution Focused techniques; which are also influenced by the Internal Family Systems to tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet YOUR unique & specific needs. Feeling lost in the chaos of life or the tough stuff most therapists won’t touch? Hi, My name is John’Neiska "JoJo" Williams and I am a licensed professional counselor in the states TX, GA LA, CO and I can assure you, you’ve come to the right place. Kick off your shoes and relax your feet—because therapy with me will never be a cliché. Therapy isn’t just venting—I’m not here for small talk. I have a laid-back vibe, but make no mistake I’m here to challenge, teach, and help you grow with real change. No clichés, no endless “How does that make you feel?” I believe that true healing happens when we bring the mind and body into the same conversation. While most people think thoughts lead to behaviors, I’ve seen how often behaviors can shape thoughts and how powerful it can be to work counterintuitively to spark change. Thats why I focus on the primary use of Counterintuitive Therapy that is rooted in  blended approaches from the frameworks of Behavior therapy and Gestalt therapy in a way that’s present-focused, dynamic, and deeply human. Some moments in life demand that we focus on the here and now, while others call for us to explore how the body has been keeping score of past experiences. Some emotions and stress doesn’t fit meet the criteria of a one-size-fits-all model. That’s why I incorporate a range of  behavioral tools and more specialized eccentric approaches, including Ketamine & Psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy, DBT, creative expressive play, and counterintuitive skills, all tailored to fit your needs.

The human experience is not something that always works based on logic. Our brains are wonderful tools that can occasionally get stuck in a survival mode that leaves us feeling helpless and terrified. We can become stuck logical loops, anxious cycles, helpless before the fear of the unknown, or in a dark depression that stops us from continuing our previous goals and fun hobbies. Our past can be a reason for this. Sometimes it might be recent events at just the wrong time. It can even be a combination of small things that seemed to always shift never going away. My philosophy of treatment is to teach my clients how mind and body work so that they can make their choice in how they choose to live and interact with others. I am trained in EMDR, hypnosis, and IFS and apply all in working with PTSD, trauma, anxiety, depression and for pain management from physical illness. A person's mind is like a garden, cultivated or left to it's own devices it will always grow. When carefully tended it is a thing of beauty, but if left alone it is a mess of weeds. In understanding the thoughts and beliefs you have about the world and how you can shape them, you can learn to thrive. With a new perspective you can change everything.

You are not alone. At one point or another, we all experience issues related to relationships, work and family. Oftentimes those experiences are associated with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma and feelings and emotions that we cannot explain. Counseling is an opportunity to participate in evidence-based treatments to help cope with mental and emotional distress and begin the journey to becoming the best version of you. As a mental health therapist my goal is to provide a safe, open and nonjudgmental environment to help individuals improve mental health, address relationship difficulties and adjust to life’s changes. BE EMPOWERED! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas. I have been working in the field of counseling for 11 years and employed with the State of Texas as a Rehabilitation Counselor for 10 years. I work with clients with varying mental and physical disabilities, ranging from ages 14 to 80. My specialties include Anxiety, Depression, Relationship Issues, Women’s Issues, Career Counseling and Transition Counseling for adolescents. Although counseling is a process, it is an opportunity for you to gain confidence, inner peace, achieve goals and become the best version of you. I encourage you to reach out and let’s start your journey. Support is critical for any change to occur; let me be your SUPPORT. I only provide virtual therapy via a Hippa compliant platform for your protection and security.

Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 12 years of experience providing compassionate care in Texas. My academic journey began at Texas State University, where I earned a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, followed by a Master's degree from Our Lady of the Lake University, focusing on Services to Families. Throughout my career, I have worked in various settings, including as a therapist for children and families, at a substance abuse treatment facility, and within community organizations. These diverse experiences have enriched my understanding and equipped me to address the complex challenges clients face. My practice is deeply rooted in empathy and a strong commitment to healing. I support children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, substance abuse, and life stressors. I also assist clients in navigating grief, life transitions, and complex relationship dynamics. Having grown up in a military family, I possess unique insights into the challenges faced by military families, enabling me to offer specialized support and empathy to those navigating the complexities of military life. I utilize evidence-based techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, to help clients overcome struggles and achieve positive outcomes. Life's challenges can feel like a relentless storm, leaving us feeling adrift and overwhelmed. In these moments, we may feel lost, with no clear direction or sense of safety. However, even the most powerful storms have an end. I offer a safe, supportive space to explore your feelings and find your way through the storm. You don't have to face these challenges alone; I am here to walk with you every step of the way. Together, we will navigate these turbulent waters, uncovering your strength and resilience.

Hello, my name is Christina and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor located in Killeen, Texas. I have a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Sociology from Drury University. I received my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas A&M University-Central Texas. I also have a certificate in Chemical Dependency and Addiction. I grew up as a military dependant (Army Brat) and later became a military spouse. I am familiar with military culture and the stresses that being in the military can put on those individuals who are serving plus their families. Growing up in a diverse military culture has helped me to be an open-minded, non-judgmental, compassionate, patient, and trauma-informed therapist. I also believe that everyone can benefit from counseling because sometimes life just gets too hard and we need a safe space to retreat, relax and regroup. I have worked with many individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, addiction, and trauma. I would love to help you to navigate through your struggles as well.

You do not have to struggle with your thoughts and emotions in silence. A peaceful life is possible no matter what the surrounding circumstances are. We are mostly troubled by our perceptions of the situations around us, not by the situations themselves. Sometimes, our thoughts are the scary part of our story, not our reality. And even when reality gets harsh, our thoughts and the way we see this reality will determine how we feel about it and how much we suffer. I am an LPC who practices mostly cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). I share the tools that are not only evidence-based and supported by extensive research but also that I've seen work with me and my clients/patients. Working on our thoughts and behaviors will affect every aspect of our lives, and relationships. We do not have to be a hostage to our unhelpful thoughts, we have tools to work on that. Anxiety, depression, PTSD, OCD, and relationship troubles are only some of many examples where this kind of therapy can help, and I would like to be that therapist who can help you achieve that change in your life.
