I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with adults who are trying to better understand themselves, their relationships, and the patterns that keep them feeling stuck. I’m especially drawn to working with people who have spent a lot of time questioning themselves, putting others’ needs before their own, or feeling disconnected from who they are and what they want. My work often centers around developing self-trust, creating healthier relationships, strengthening boundaries, and feeling more secure and confident in yourself. My approach is warm, genuine, collaborative, and practical. I believe therapy should be a place where you can be honest about what’s really going on without feeling judged or pressured to have everything figured out. We can slow things down, explore what may be underneath the patterns you’re experiencing, and make sense of how your past experiences and current relationships may be influencing the way you see yourself and move through the world.
Many people reach a point where they know something needs to change, but aren’t quite sure what that change looks like. You may be navigating a transition, questioning whether your relationships reflect what you truly want, struggling to trust your own decisions, or simply feeling unlike yourself. Sometimes the hardest part is knowing that the way you’ve been coping isn’t working anymore, while not yet knowing what to do instead. My goal is to help you develop a clearer understanding of yourself and the life you want to create. I’m not here to tell you who to be or what choices to make. I’m here to help you feel more grounded in yourself, recognize what you need, and build the confidence and tools to move forward in a way that feels authentic to you.
As a therapist, I am caring, empathetic, reliable, and committed to creating a safe and supportive environment where clients feel heard and respected. I believe in building genuine therapeutic relationships based on trust, honesty, and collaboration. While I provide compassion and understanding, I am also assertive and direct when needed, helping clients identify patterns, challenge barriers, and work toward meaningful change.
I believe that therapy is most effective when it balances support with accountability. Clients can expect me to listen without judgment, provide honest feedback, and encourage them to explore new perspectives. I strive to empower individuals to recognize their strengths, develop healthy coping strategies, and make decisions that align with their values and goals. My commitment is to walk alongside my clients through life's challenges while providing the guidance, encouragement, and tools needed to f

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor practicing in Texas, and I am currently working on obtaining my PSYD in Clinical Psychology. Through my time as a therapist I have developed a therapeutic approach that is client-centered, meaning I prioritize each individual’s unique needs, experiences, and goals. This foundation allows me to use an eclectic blend of trauma-informed care, EMDR,IFS, and REBT.
Outside of work, I love to read, explore nature with my cat and dog (they get along sometimes), , and immerse myself in music in all forms. These passions help me recharge and bring creativity and balance to my life, which I strive to share with my clients as they navigate their own journeys.
My passion is helping clients find the strength within themselves to create lasting change. Hi, I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Texas, and I feel privileged to support individuals and families as they navigate life’s challenges, strengthen their relationships, and create meaningful change. With over six years of professional experience, I strive to create a welcoming, compassionate space where clients feel heard, understood, and comfortable showing up as their authentic selves.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree from Texas Lutheran University in 2010 and later completed my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Abilene Christian University in Dallas in May 2021. My passion for this work comes from a deep appreciation for the connections we share with others and the ways those relationships shape our lives and well-being.
Outside of the therapy room, I’m a wife and mom who loves spending time with my family and our two dogs, Minnie and Annie. My favorite ways to unwind include watching Star Wars and The Lord of the Rings with my husband, getting lost in a good book, and singing and dancing in the car with my son. I also have a soft spot for corny jokes, so you may find that a little humor makes its way into our conversations, too!
I believe that meaningful change begins with feeling safe enough to be yourself, and I would be honored to be part of your journey toward greater connection, understanding, and emotional well-being.

Welcome! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-S) based in Texas. I am originally from San Antonio, Texas, and received my bachelor’s degree in Social Work at the University of Texas at Austin. During my undergraduate work I had the opportunity to study abroad in Accra, Ghana. I spent two additional years in clinical supervision working in hospitals, crisis mobile mental health, and facilitating groups to attain my independent clinical license. Thereafter, I spent time in clinical practice to build expertise to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Supervisor providing individual, family, and group therapy. Most recently I have broadened my scope of practice to include my Chemical Dependency Counseling license and Certification in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. In my free time, I enjoy singing, spending time with family and friends, cooking, film, and television.

Unable to stop focusing on past trauma and move forward with your life?
It doesn’t have to be this way.
Hi, I’m Ben and I can help.

Hello, I am Margie,
Do you ever feel like there is not enough time in the day? Are you increasingly feeling off (meaning, that you know something is going on that is causing a disconnect but you are not sure what it is)?
I assist people with finding/repairing their focus on what is most important to them in order to avoid/lessen burnout. Together we can identify what is not working and develop a plan for how to address the areas of disconnection. Together we will work as a partnership to develop strategies to create "a present and future that makes you feel more fulfilled." In addition to focusing on the mind, body soul connection, I also integrate mindfulness, music and art to help you improve yourself.
Throughout life's twists and turns, I am here to help. Seeking therapy is a huge step and for various reasons, many people do not. In our sessions together, I'll meet you with compassion and evidence-based techniques so you can take ownership of "what I want, what I need and where I want to go."

Hi, I'm Sylvia.
Are you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, depressed? Feeling like you are not good enough? You are not alone, and you don’t have to face it alone. Whether you are dealing with a specific issue or just feeling like something isn’t right, my goal is to help you feel more grounded, empowered, and connected to your authentic self. I will provide a safe, non-judgmental, supportive space where you can begin to understand your experiences, heal from past wounds, and create meaningful change.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a passion for helping individuals navigate the lasting effects of childhood wounds, anxiety, and life's most challenging transitions. My work is rooted in the belief that true healing begins when people feel genuinely heard, respected, and safe enough to be vulnerable.
I bring a warm, direct, and collaborative presence to the therapeutic relationship. My approach blends evidence-based practices — including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and self-compassion frameworks — with a deep respect for each client's cultural background, lived experience, and unique story. I don't believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. Instead, I meet clients where they are and tailor my approach to what they actually need.
Much of my work centers on helping clients understand how early experiences — such as emotional neglect, conditional love, abandonment, and shame — continue to shape their thoughts, emotions, and relationships in adulthood. I also have a dedicated focus on men's mental health, providing a space where men can move beyond cultural expectations of silence and strength to reconnect with their emotional lives in meaningful ways.
My background includes working with individuals recovering from addiction and those rebuilding their lives after significant hardship. These experiences have deepened my belief in human resilience and the capacity for growth at any stage of life. In our work together, I aim to help you build self-awareness, develop practical emotional regulation skills, and cultivate a healthier relationship with yourself and others. My goal is not just symptom relief — it is lasting, meaningful change that reflects who you truly are and who you are becoming.
Reaching out for therapy takes courage, and my goal is to make the process feel approachable from the very first session. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 14 years of experience helping adults and adolescents navigate ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and major life transitions.
I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine conversation built on trust, curiosity, and collaboration. Rather than simply listening or giving advice, I work alongside clients to better understand what's keeping them stuck while developing practical strategies that fit their lives. My approach integrates evidence-based therapies with compassion, humor when appropriate, and a focus on long-term growth.

I have worked with a variety of clients that range in ages from adolescence through older adulthood. I work with my clients to help them overcome whatever issues they may be facing. I believe it is important to meet them where they are at and provide a safe, nurturing, and non judgmental space where we can work through issues and stressors together and develop ways for you to effectively cope with them. You never know what life is going to throw you, especially in today's world. I want to help you overcome your fears and stressors and become the best version of your self you can be! I integrate evidence-based treatments to meet your needs, with a focus on anxiety, depression, and trauma.
Greetings, I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who believes therapy should be a space where you feel heard, respected, and understood—not judged. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families experiencing anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, relationship and communication challenges, anger, life transitions, trauma, and other emotional or behavioral concerns.
I bring a warm, compassionate, and down-to-earth approach to therapy. I recognize that every person’s experiences are different, and I take the time to understand your story, strengths, challenges, and goals. My role is not to tell you how to live your life, but to help you gain insight, develop healthier ways of coping, and feel more confident navigating the challenges in front of you.
Whether you are struggling with something that has been weighing on you for years or simply need support navigating a difficult season, you do not have to figure it all out alone. My approach to therapy is collaborative, practical, and individualized. I incorporate evidence-based strategies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), along with other therapeutic techniques based on your specific needs and goals.
Tired of being tired, feeling helpless, hopeless, empty? Life is feeling overwhelming or unmanageable? I understand and I'm here to say it doesn't have to be that way.
This is a difficult step, accepting that something needs to change.
Together we will navigate through all the things that are forming a barrier to your ability to feel whole. We'll address your mind, body and spiritual needs to get you to a positive place. You deserve to feel good, to have clarity in your life and to feel empowered. My goal is to get you to that place. Working together, we will develop a safe space to explore those issues that have made life feel difficult.
In our sessions together, you will feel heard, understood and supported.
I will provide you with compassion and guidance utilizing evidence-based treatment. I've worked with people who are experiencing depression, anxiety, loss, addictions, parenting challenges, co-parenting transitions, trauma, relationship challenges, bipolar disorder and the list goes on.
Every situation is unique, and I am here to understand and help. I appreciate the opportunity to work with you. I am available nights and weekends; hope to meet with you soon.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Supervisor (LCSW-S) based in Texas. I received my Master of Social Worker Degree from Texas State University and have been in private practice for over six years. I work with women of all ages utilizing their own strengths to work through their trauma, stress, and life transitions while improving their well-being and quality of life.
I have over 30 years of experience working with individuals impacted by abuse, neglect, substance use, mental health, incarceration and illness. I have worked with children, families and individuals in varied settings to include juvenile probation, residential treatment, drug court and over 16 years in the child welfare system. For the last 12 years, I have worked in an inpatient hospital setting. I have worked specifically the last 11 years in Women’s Health Services. I am committed to helping others improve their quality of life in a non-judgmental and welcoming space.
I am a warm, compassionate, and down-to-earth therapist who believes therapy works best when clients feel genuinely safe, heard, and understood. I strive to create a space where people can show up as they are without feeling judged, rushed, or expected to have everything figured out.
My approach is rooted in connection and collaboration. While I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), somatic and nervous-system-informed techniques, and trauma-informed care into my work, I primarily work from a person-centered perspective, meaning I tailor therapy to each individual rather than taking a rigid or one-size-fits-all approach.
I enjoy working with adolescents and adults who may be navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, trauma, stress, or self-esteem struggles. Many of my clients are thoughtful, sensitive, high-functioning people who are used to carrying a lot internally and are looking for both practical support and a deeper understanding of themselves.
I believe healing often begins with having a space where you no longer feel like you have to hold everything together alone. My goal is to help clients feel supported while building insight, confidence, emotional resilience, and meaningful change in their lives.

Treat others the way you want to be treated is the motto I live by. I want to be treated kindly, I want to be heard and I want to feel I matter. This is how I will treat you, without strings or hesitation.
I have a story just as you do. I have been lucky to choose a career that has enabled me to know when I need to talk to someone, enabled me to learn and use coping skills that work and has also enabled me to see the beauty through the broken pieces.
Growing up I was a nosey child, I always wanted to know the "why", I still do! This personality trait led me on a path where I have been able to meet people from all walks of life, people who seemingly burned every bridge walked over, people with no hope as well as people who just were going through a rough patch. All these individuals have helped me become the person and the therapist I am today.
I am truly excited to hear people’s story, restore faith and be the constant in people’s lives. Give me a chance to hear your story, you are not alone!

I’m a licensed clinical social worker practicing in Houston, Texas with extensive experience in mental health treatment across diverse populations, especially ethnicity, gender, age, religious, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status. My journey in the mental health field began during my undergraduate studies, where I first became involved in victim advocacy. This experience deepened my understanding of social dynamics, (in)justice and human behavior, leading to dual bachelor’s degrees in Sociology and Women’s Studies.
While pursuing my graduate degree, I worked at the National Domestic Violence Hotline, further honing my skills in crisis intervention and critical thinking/problem-solving . After earning a Master of Science in Social Work from The University of Texas at Austin, I completed a post-graduate fellowship focused on psychiatric rehabilitation of veterans with severe mental illness.
I further advanced my clinical skills when joining The Menninger Clinic staff, where I spent five years specializing in the treatment of business professionals facing mental health crises, young adults navigating the transition into adulthood, and clients experiencing severe mental health challenges, including suicidal ideation.
During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, after recognizing the urgent need for increased access to mental health care I established my private practice, Therapy by Ivy, PLLC. Since then I have offered individual telehealth sessions to adult clients seeking to improve their mental health and enhance their lives. In 2023, I expanded my practice to include in-person sessions while continuing to provide telehealth sessions. Based in the Houston Heights area, I am proud to offer flexible session options, accept most major insurance plans, and self-pay sliding fee for the uninsured or underinsured.

Hello, my name is Tiffany Simon. I am a board-certified Licensed Professional Counselor, School Counselor, and Group Fitness Instructor, and I truly believe that wellness is about caring for the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. In our society, there is a strong stigma against mental health services, but I try and break that stigma daily. I would love to begin working with you on your journey to wellness.
I’m Tamera J. Stouton, a Licensed Professional Counselor, EMDR Certified Therapist, and EMDR Consultant-in-Training! I love guiding women, couples, and emerging EMDR therapists through the journey of becoming—healing wounds, building healthy relationships, and developing the confidence to show up fully in life, relationships and business. My approach weaves evidence-based trauma therapy with a deeply holistic lens: honoring the mind, body, and spirit as one system of healing.
In our work together, therapy & consultation becomes a sacred journey, a space to slow down, process painful experiences, and reconnect with your innate resilience. I integrate EMDR, parts work, polyvagal and somatic practices, along with relational frameworks like Gottman and Emotionally Focused Therapy, to help my clients move beyond survival into embodied peace and purpose.
As a therapist & EMDR consultant in training, I bring both clinical depth and spiritual wisdom, rooted in years of study, teaching, and lived experience. I believe healing is not just about symptom relief; it’s about remembering who you are beneath the wounds.
If you’re ready to transform old patterns and live from a place of grounded wholeness, I’d be honored to walk beside you on your healing journey.
Welcome, my name is Karen Christopher, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Texas. I have over 20 years experience serving people. I am also a retired military spouse. I enjoy supporting people in all phases of life. I work with adults who experience depressive mood, anxiety, grief, PTSD, job related stress, martial issues and other concerns as well.
Hi, I am Dr. Erica Martinez! I am a first-generation Latina, raised on the West Side of San Antonio who had an opportunity to become a licensed clinical social worker with a PhD in Social Work. I believe in the power of therapy and walk alongside individuals as they navigate their unique situations and find lasting solutions, and more importantly, healing.
Therapy with me is real, relational, and rooted in truth.
I bring what I call a homie check-in into the space—a mix of honesty, reflection, and support where you can be called in (not called out), challenged with care, and supported as you grow into the version of yourself you’re becoming.
You’ve been holding it together for a long time.
Showing up for everyone. Pushing through. Carrying things that people don’t always see.
And at the same time... something feels off.
You’re overwhelmed, burned out, or reacting in ways that don’t fully feel like you.
That’s where our work begins.
I work with women navigating anxiety, trauma, burnout, and life transitions, especially those who are used to being “the strong one.” Together, we make sense of your patterns, your reactions, and the parts of you that learned how to survive.

I specialize in helping adults navigate the profound challenges of depression, grief, bipolar disorder, ADHD and anxiety. My own life experiences, including the loss of my son in 2023, have given me a unique perspective and a deeply empathetic approach. I understand the courage it takes to open up and the transformative growth that therapy can bring. I am here to provide a safe and compassionate space for self-discovery and healing.
While therapy requires time, effort, and patience, the journey is deeply rewarding. Discovering the best version of yourself is an investment worth making, and I would be honored to guide you on this transformative path.
