Hello, I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in the states of Texas and Tennessee with 30 years of counseling and ministry experience. I began as a minister of the Gospel in the Southern Baptist tradition in 1993 working with the homeless to overcome the struggles of addiction and hopelessness in North Carolina and Tennessee. From there, I became a case manager in a rural oupatient behavioral health clinic helping the chronically mentally ill live independently outside of the institutional settings. As my family of five children grew, my wife encouraged me to join the military in 2007 and for the next 13 years we served alongside our Soldiers and their Families as a chaplain. There, I learned through experience how to work through the stress of multiple transitions, the unyeilding demands for time and energy, and the unjust nature of toxic environments. I learned how to support those who wanted to strengthen themselves and their relationships in these environments and to ultimately be at peace with who they are and who they want to be.
As I have matured in my training and become licensed in marriage and family therapy, I have found that I now specialize in using Solution Focused therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help individuals identify their strengths and the beliefs that are guiding their behavior. With this knowledge, people can begin to choose who they want to be.
I'm Kirk Henderson, and I provide therapy using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I have years of experience treating Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar Depression, Anxiety, Phobias, Trauma, and Grief. I help clients navigate life transitions such as career change, divorce, and staying in a difficult marriage successfully. I work with couples experiencing marital conflict to find a new place of intimacy and connectedness. Having a background in pastoral ministry, I am also able to provide faith-based interventions for those clients who require a spiritual dynamic in the counseling experience. Please feel free to call me with any questions, or to set up an initial consultation, and I will be glad to assist you in your journey towards peace and wholeness, and relationship success.

I have over 10 years of experience as a mental health therapist. I primarily work with individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and family or relationship difficulties. Many clients seek treatment because they feel overwhelmed, stuck in unhelpful patterns, or unsure how to manage the challenges they’re facing.
My approach is structured and evidence‑based. I focus on helping you understand the factors contributing to your symptoms and developing clear, practical strategies for change. I use cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and mindfulness‑based interventions to support emotional regulation, improve coping skills, and build healthier behavioral patterns.
Accountability is an important part of the work we do together. I will support you, but I will also provide direct feedback and encourage consistent follow‑through on the changes you identify as important. Progress requires active participation, and I work best with clients who are ready to take responsibility for implementing new skills and strategies between sessions.
My Style is:
Straightforward – Honest and clear, but always respectful.
Practical – Tools that work in everyday life, not just theory.
Explorative – Space to reflect deeply in a safe, non-judgmental environment.
Encouraging – Support that helps you feel capable, validated, and motivated to change.
Accountability-focused – Growth comes from owning your choices and committing to real change.
This works well if you are willing to:
• Look at your own patterns and find areas for growth and change
• Practice new skills between our sessions and create a plan for change
• Stay open to feedback, exploration, and trying approaches that fit your unique needs
Hello! I am a licensed mental health counselor with more than 10 years of experience. I specialize in providing transformative individual therapy for adults and teens. My extensive experience encompasses a wide range of client issues, with key focuses on general anxiety, social anxiety, OCD, life transitions, dating and relationship challenges, and depression.
Embracing a wellness perspective, I am passionate about tapping into your inherent strengths and abilities to pave the way for healing. I highly value your unique individuality, and my treatment methods are adaptable to diverse values and needs. By considering your holistic health, I aim to help you make swift and enduring results in your mental well-being journey.
I have approximately 30 years of experience in virtually all clinical settings. I began my career working in a juvenile penitentiary (referred to as a 'youth development center) and after almost 6 years, left that setting and moved on to new opportunities. Along the way, I worked with group homes, foster homes, substance abuse treatment programs, and even provided treatment in a sexual offender treatment program. In 2004 I went solely into private practice and currently operate two offices. I also provided on-site services to businesses that suffer a death or other disruptive event; I have provided over 170 of these services in four states during the last several years. While you don't need any faith to see me, I also offer Christian Counseling. Finally, I am a US Army veteran and understand the challenges and needs of veterans.
I operate under a practical approach that seeks to build on a person's strengths to achieve realistic, measurable goals. I utilize primarily cognitive behavioral therapy and reality therapy to help my clients achieve their goals and to live life more fully.

Hello! I am so glad you have made the decision towards making positive changes for yourself. I specialize in helping my clients who are struggling to manage emotions and behaviors that are interfering with their daily functioning in areas such as personal relationships, work, parenting, school, etc. These struggles may be the result of a single event that threatened survival, like a car accident, or from a chronic history of trauma and loss. Or maybe one struggles to manage their emotions and behaviors but they do not understand why. Maybe a person's life seems pretty good or even great. But they're puzzled as to why they feel the way they do. One may have thought "I have no reason to feel this way." I invite you to explore with me the possible origins of these thoughts and feelings. There are times we all need help and support.
I love partnering with people on their journey to greatness. I use a strengths-based approach to help my clients see the choices that are always at their disposal to unlearn past harmful messaging or combat unrelenting present symptoms. I integrate role plays, affirmations, accountability, and direct introspection exercises to aid clients in quieting the noise of societal norms to embrace their true joy. All sessions are client-focused, I don't come with my own agenda. I'm excited to help you live life with confidence on your own terms. I look forward to working with you.

I am a licensed clinical social worker, based in the Raleigh Durham area of North Carolina. I am licensed in North Carolina, Connecticut, Florida, and Texas. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and my graduate degree from the University of Georgia.
I have spent the majority of my career in healthcare settings and working with adults who are experiencing challenges with mental health. I help clients with long-term health conditions find effective coping skills as well as meaning and acceptance in their diagnosis. I have also worked with children who have a loved one facing a life-altering medical diagnosis.
My experience is not limited to working with individuals who are facing a medical diagnosis, as I also have worked extensively with clients facing depression, anxiety, interpersonal challenges, self-esteem issues, and end-of-life challenges. I view therapy as a collaboration, as you are the expert of your own life; we will work jointly to create a treatment that is both realistic and meaningful so that you can live a full and value-driven life!
I have a certificate to provide tobacco cessation counseling for individuals looking to live a smoke-free lifestyle.

Hi, I'm Jessie, a compassionate therapist dedicated to women's mental health.
Are you a counselor or therapist dealing with personal issues on top of a job helping others? Have you ever felt lost in your marriage or your motherhood?
With a profound understanding of the intricate ties between emotional well-being and relationships, I can help guide you toward healing. Drawing from my expertise in trauma therapy, I provide a safe space for addressing past wounds. My empathetic approach extends to addressing common struggles like anxiety and depression. With a nurturing focus on gaining a deeper understanding of yourself and creating greater ability to find your grounding, I empower you to embrace your roles while caring for your mental health.
My life experiences are what led me to become a therapist and shaped my deep commitment to supporting others on their healing paths. Over the years, I’ve worked in a wide range of settings — schools, jails, hospitals, and private practice — which has given me a broad understanding of how people cope, survive, and grow in very different environments.
I have specialized training in TF‑CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, autism, and women’s mental health, including perinatal, postpartum, and perimenopausal/menopausal concerns. These areas of focus allow me to support women across the full spectrum of emotional, hormonal, and life transitions. I look forward to walking alongside you as we navigate this journey together. I focus on women only at this time.
