Hi, I'm Liz. Do you have trouble calming your mind and stopping your rushing thoughts? Do you have trouble focusing and juggling work and personal obligations? Do you see how a lack of self-love and confidence makes life harder to handle? Do you often feel weight down by feelings of anxiety or depression? Are you struggling to overcome communication challenges in your relationship? Can you imagine what life would be like if you were more confident and happier? Life can feel a lot different when “Thinking leads to feeling if we think differently, then we feel differently”. There is nothing you wouldn’t do for things to feel normal again. You don’t have to go at it alone, together we will work on strategies that allow you to address and overcome challenges. Together, we can identify what's not working and make changes to help you regain a sense of control over your life. I'm here to support you, whether you're going through periods of anxiety and despair, overwhelm, or relationship problems. It can be intimidating to seek counseling, but you have made the first and most important step by reaching out for help. I provide a safe place for you to heal and develop. I'll approach you with compassion and use strategies that have been proven effective so you may get over the shackles and routines holding you back.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

After the first therapy session, the client and therapist will start building a trusting and supportive therapeutic relationship. The first session may provide some initial insights into the client's thoughts and feelings. It's common for clients to start reflecting on certain patterns or triggers. After working together for a while, the client can expect deeper self-exploration into their thoughts, emotions, and past experiences. Increased Emotional Awareness by recognizing and validating their feelings more effectively. A broader range of coping strategies and tools to navigate life's challenges. Progress toward goals and enhanced communication skills

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

A wide range of treatment methods and tools are used and tailored to the specific needs and goals of each client. A few treatment methods often used in sessions are as follows: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Mindfulness-Based Therapy Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) Family Therapy

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have access to a vast amount of information on various therapeutic approaches, mental health conditions, coping strategies, and self-help techniques. This knowledge can help clients gain a deeper understanding of their challenges and potential ways to address them. I attentively listen to clients' concerns and respond objectively without imposing my opinions. This can be beneficial for individuals who may find it difficult to talk openly with others. I offer diverse perspectives and insights into various issues, which can expand clients' understanding and promote critical thinking. I can offer empathy, support, and encouragement, which might be comforting for clients seeking emotional validation.
