I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 14 years of experience helping clients. I am a proud ‘Appalachian-American’ that was born and raised deep in the mountains of Upper Northeast TN.
Although many of my personal life experiences are about what one would expect of someone growing up in East TN (cue BBQ ribs & banjo music🪕), my work experience have been vastly different. I have been quite fortunate to get to work with individuals from quite literally all walks of life. I have worked with clients from preschool to post retirement. Thanks to the internet I have been able to help individuals across the globe, from various cultures, diverse religious beliefs, race, gender spectrums, socioeconomic status, etc. One thing I have learned in my work with all of these individuals is that although each of their stories are unique, ultimately, they all seek/want the same core things. I think much of my success in working with a wide assortment of clients is that I attempt to be open, understanding, curious and cultivate a nonjudgmental atmosphere for our sessions. The working relationship between a therapist and their client is a key factor to client’s achieving treatment goals.
Hello, my name is LaTisha, professionally known as "TishatheTherapist." As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Mental Health Service Provider (LPC, MHSP), I am committed to providing a safe, non-judgmental space for women to explore their emotions. As a women's mental health specialist, my practice is founded on three core principles: a secure environment for sharing personal experiences, practical education for empowerment, and compassionate support to navigate challenging situations.
You may be managing a demanding career, striving to perform at your best as a student-athlete, or navigating a major life transition while feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or burned out. You do not have to work through these challenges alone. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can step away from outside pressures, focus on yourself, and develop practical strategies for moving forward.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I take a holistic approach to therapy. I recognize that mental health is connected to your relationships, physical well-being, environment, values, experiences, and personal goals. My style is warm, collaborative, and practical, drawing from cognitive behavioral, strengths-based, and solution-focused approaches to create therapy that fits your individual needs.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, stress, burnout, relationship concerns, performance pressure, and life transitions. Together, we will identify the patterns affecting your well-being, strengthen your coping skills, build confidence and resilience, and work toward meaningful, lasting change.
My goal is to help you thrive personally and professionally—not simply manage symptoms. I am also pursuing a Doctor of Social Work (DSW), continuing to expand my expertise in advanced clinical practice, leadership, and whole-person care.

I work with people whose lives have become complicated, heavy, chaotic, or stuck — often after years of stress, addiction, trauma, relationship problems, major life transitions, or simply trying to survive the best way they knew how. My approach is direct, grounded, and practical. I believe meaningful change comes from honest self-examination, healthier behaviors, and learning how to live in a way that is both productive and emotionally sustainable.
Therapy with me is not about pretending life is easy or offering rehearsed positivity. It is about building a real therapeutic relationship where people can reduce the noise, face difficult truths without shame, and develop the tools, structure, and perspective needed to create a more purposeful and satisfying life.
Basically, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I have a background of working with individuals but due to my family therapy training I do want to know your family situation and ways that work and don't work for you. I have been working with Medicare clients and SPMI (Severe and Persistent Mental Illness). Many time I have found that clients who usually manage their lives well can sometimes feel overwhelmed by changes that occur in their lives. I truly want to locate and focus on strengths, but want to be supportive of areas where support is needed. Life can be difficult and learning coping skills can help us navigate both the highs and lows that life brings us. If needed, I guide individual to explore and analysis their past. I am friendly and positive. I want to help you feel better. If there are traumas, I will listen. 🛷
Hello and welcome! I’m Michelle, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with more than 20 years of experience working in the field of behavioral health.
I was drawn to counseling by a curiosity about human behavior—how our thoughts, relationships, and life experiences shape the way we see ourselves and the world. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Austin Peay State University and a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. I’m licensed in North Carolina (LCMHC), Tennessee (LPC), Kentucky (LPCC-S), and Georgia (LPC).
Throughout my career, I’ve learned that there is always more to a person’s story than what we first see. I bring that understanding to each session, listening with compassion, curiosity, and respect.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, stress, burnout, or a life transition, you don’t have to sort through it alone. My approach is warm and supportive, with honest conversations and thoughtful challenges. I’ll meet you with understanding while encouraging accountability as you grow. Together, we’ll identify what’s within your control, strengthen emotional regulation, and build practical tools you can use outside of sessions to improve daily life and support lasting change.
At various points in life, we may find ourselves needing support to navigate stressors, transitions, and the challenges that stem from the human experience. I walk with individuals as they heal from past and ongoing trauma, manage addiction, and cope with anxiety and depressive symptoms.
I am deeply passionate about advocating for individuals who may be navigating seasons of uncertainty or isolation. My goal is to create a safe, open, and supportive space where you feel seen, heard, and validated—while also feeling empowered to move through life’s challenges and toward a more authentic, fulfilling life.
I’m a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, and I believe therapy works best when it feels safe, collaborative, and human. I bring empathy, a sense of humor, and a strong focus on building a genuine therapeutic connection. I also believe you should set the pace for counseling — this is your space, and we move in a way that feels right for you.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in TN with a varied background of experience and knowledge. I love helping clients identify what is holding them back in their lives and work on meeting new challenges with comfort and healing. My goal is to make clients feel comfortable and safe while they share their thoughts and feelings. I am here to be supportive but not tell you have to run your life- that is YOUR decision. I sort through the options, the barriers and the coping strategies available.

I have extensive experience with trauma recovery specifically abusive relationships, abusive parents as a child, domestic violence, and systemic and systematic trauma. I also have experience with depression, anxiety, and post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
If I sound like a good fit for you, and you feel ready to begin your healing journey, please feel free to schedule an appointment. I look forward to working with you and walking alongside you in your path toward freedom.

I am a licensed therapist in Arkansas, Tennessee, and Mississippi with over 10 years of professional experience. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of supporting individuals as they navigate complex issues such as addiction, trauma, abuse, grief, loss, and bipolar disorder. In addition, I have worked extensively with clients coping with significant life changes, providing them with the tools and support they need to move forward. I am also a Certified Employee Assistance Professional. Therapeutic Approach: I deeply believe that you are the expert of your own story. Hello, I'm Rebecca, and I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor. I believe that therapy should be a place where you can truly be yourself—a space where you can come as you are with no fear of judgment. My practice is built on the philosophy that genuine connection and compassionate support are the cornerstones of lasting change. I specialize in supporting adolescents and young adults navigating the unique pressures of modern life. I work with those feeling overwhelmed by "big feelings"—emotions that often manifest as high anxiety, social withdrawal, or intense reactivity. My approach moves beyond simply managing symptoms; I focus on building true emotional resilience. By helping my clients identify and understand their internal landscape, I empower them to move from a place of overwhelm to one of confidence and self-advocacy.
Recognizing that healthy development doesn't happen in a vacuum, I am equally passionate about supporting the parents navigating these transitions. I work closely with caregivers who feel exhausted, overstretched, or as if they are "walking on eggshells" at home. I provide a grounded space to troubleshoot the complexities of parenting, helping families trade daily chaos for deeper, more resilient connections.
If you are looking for a collaborative partner to help your family find its footing, I invite you to reach out so we can begin this journey together.

I have approximately 30 years of experience in virtually all clinical settings. I began my career working in a juvenile penitentiary (referred to as a 'youth development center) and after almost 6 years, left that setting and moved on to new opportunities. Along the way, I worked with group homes, foster homes, substance abuse treatment programs, and even provided treatment in a sexual offender treatment program. In 2004 I went solely into private practice and currently operate two offices. I also provided on-site services to businesses that suffer a death or other disruptive event; I have provided over 170 of these services in four states during the last several years. While you don't need any faith to see me, I also offer Christian Counseling. Finally, I am a US Army veteran and understand the challenges and needs of veterans.
I operate under a practical approach that seeks to build on a person's strengths to achieve realistic, measurable goals. I utilize primarily cognitive behavioral therapy and reality therapy to help my clients achieve their goals and to live life more fully.
