Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I like to start sessions with introductions and have the patietn describe their perception of their treatment needs. I explore the patietn's environment and how this may impact their perspective. I like to assess what the patient would like to gain from counseling services. Then we will collaborate together on a treatment path/ plan to meet your needs.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I have over 14 years in mental health field. My education and training provides a wide scope of services. My education and experience provides me with a foundation to build a successful plan in meeting patient’s needs. I strive to make treatment patient-centered care. I want to improve self esteem, be supportive, and build on empowering the patient as well as identify strengths.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Patients who struggle with negative thoughts, negative self talk, and experience anxiety and depression can benefit from counseling. I enjoy being supportive and empowering with people to make changes in their life. People who might feel numb or stuck within their environments. People who are overwhelmed or overthinking.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my practice, I utilize CBT to identify and challenge reoccurring thoughts contributing to anxiety and depression. We'll focus on CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other and impact functioning. We'll then utilize that knowledge to change your thinking patterns and self talk which can positively impact daily functioning.
