Hello, I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in the states of Texas and Tennessee with 30 years of counseling and ministry experience. I began as a minister of the Gospel in the Southern Baptist tradition in 1993 working with the homeless to overcome the struggles of addiction and hopelessness in North Carolina and Tennessee. From there, I became a case manager in a rural oupatient behavioral health clinic helping the chronically mentally ill live independently outside of the institutional settings. As my family of five children grew, my wife encouraged me to join the military in 2007 and for the next 13 years we served alongside our Soldiers and their Families as a chaplain. There, I learned through experience how to work through the stress of multiple transitions, the unyeilding demands for time and energy, and the unjust nature of toxic environments. I learned how to support those who wanted to strengthen themselves and their relationships in these environments and to ultimately be at peace with who they are and who they want to be.
As I have matured in my training and become licensed in marriage and family therapy, I have found that I now specialize in using Solution Focused therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help individuals identify their strengths and the beliefs that are guiding their behavior. With this knowledge, people can begin to choose who they want to be.
Hello. I’m Jamie and I’ve been a practicing therapist for many years. You may be recovering from addiction, childhood trauma, toxic relationships, or perhaps, all of these things! I know most people don't go through life untouched by trauma, anxiety, unhealthy habits or some kind of issue that deeply affects them. I also know life's problems do not come with troubleshooting instructions but I belive I know how to help people begin to effectively address them. Whether they were caused by genetic predisposition, environmental stress or undeterminable origins, my beliefs are: We can have a life worth living regardless of how it started. There is help worth seeking, and problems get better with wise counsel.

Hi. My name is Christine Toler, Chris, and I earned my Ed.S and LPC- MHSP in the state of Tennessee, New Jersey and Delaware. I have been licensed as a Professional Counselor since 2010, and a School Counselor since 2006.
I started being a believer in therapy when it first helped me over forty years ago, (as a child). I thought what a wonderful way to get to the root of the problem... and get rid of it. Since then, I have been working on myself as a client as well as acquiring a licensure to help others, including teens, adults and families. I focus on solution based and non-judgmental cognitive therapy. I believe understanding a problem is not the end of the work. (unfortunately)
The action we take to support a positive change... is what changes lives. And while I have experienced that in some very important areas... I continue to grow... daily. I choose to be transparent about that because I believe it is important to the work that my clients know I understand how it feels to be in their chair.
If you are struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, doubt, guilt, grief, or all of the above, I believe I can help you.
I am a dedicated mental health professional and military veteran with a deep commitment to serving fellow service members and individuals facing stressor-related issues. My approach to therapy is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and evidence-based practice.

You appear calm and put together on the outside, internally you feel overwhelmed and exhausted. You've been doing everything you can to keep things together so no one notices how much you're struggling, but lately it feels harder to manage. You're doing your best to hold on, yet you worry that one more stressful situation could push you past your limit.
You continue to smile, show up, and tell yourself you're okay, even when deep down you know you're not. Because you look “fine” to others, people may not realize how heavy things have become for you. You often minimize your own pain by comparing yourself to others, convincing yourself that you should just be grateful because “others have it worse.” As a result, prioritizing your emotional well-being can feel selfish or undeserved.
If this describes you, and you are ready to stop overthinking, you are no longer willing to put your own needs on the backburner, you are ready to silence the inner critic, work on your personal and/or professional relationships, and you want to stop just going through the motions, we should talk.
I have the credentials that every other therapist has earned, representing the commitment of a competent practitioner. However, its important to note that my caring coupled with my competence makes me who I am.
I am a person of faith, wife (retired military veteran) mother, grandmother, and dog mom. I've navigated many seasons of life overcoming grief and loss, divorce, careers, the sandwich generation (caring for aging parents and small children), financial challenges, and blending a family. All the makings for stress, anxiety, and depression. During these and other dark seasons, it was the professional help holding my hand through the darkness until I could see the light again. Let's walk together to the light.

Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have my Masters in Social Work from University of Texas at Arlington. I have worked in the field of mental health and as a therapist for 30 years. I am licensed in Arkansas and Tennessee. I work with adults of all ages and backgrounds who are experiencing difficulties such as difficulty coping, low self esteem, anxiety, grief and loss, and stress due to life transitions. I believe that reaching out to a therapist is a big step. I am here to help you feel comfortable and connected in your therapy journey and to provide an environment where you can work on your goals without feeling judged.
As a seasoned therapist, I have experience working with a broad range of mental health and life challenges. I believe effective therapy begins with creating a safe, respectful environment where clients can explore their concerns, ask meaningful questions, and discover practical answers that lead to positive, lasting change.
My primary therapeutic approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), while recognizing that every client is unique. When appropriate, I incorporate other therapeutic modalities and techniques to meet the individual needs, goals, and circumstances of each person.
My practice includes marriage and family counseling, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, concerns related to aging, workplace and career challenges, conflict resolution and mediation, and faith-based counseling when requested. I welcome individuals and couples from diverse backgrounds and with a wide variety of concerns. My goal is not simply to help clients manage their symptoms, but to help them develop healthier coping skills, gain greater self-understanding, and move forward with greater confidence and purpose.
I also value collaboration. Over the years, I have developed a network of physicians, mental health professionals, and spiritual advisors whose knowledge and perspective I can draw upon when it may benefit a client. I believe good therapy sometimes means recognizing when additional expertise or a different perspective is needed.
Most importantly, I believe therapy is about the client—not the therapist. If a client or I determine that I am not the best fit for their particular needs, I will do everything I can to help them find a professional who is better suited to assist them. My priority is always helping the client receive the care that gives them the best opportunity to heal, grow, and move forward.

Allow me to support and guide you through your growth and self-awareness process. You are welcome to contact me, so we can start a journey of healing.

In a trusting, confidential and empathic environment one can manage challenging issues and find a way towards self improvement and further growth. I provide support and guidance and encourage self determination to help my client reach goals that are important to them. It's a valuable partnership in which I hope to assist in finding a way to more fulfilling relationships, more satisfaction and greater self esteem.
Are you feeling stuck and unsure of how to get past symptoms of anxiety, depression or past trauma? It's common to experience mental health-related challenges in life and to get stuck at times. We're not born with a built-in understanding of how to be psychologically healthy, so sometimes it's a good idea to get a little guidance from an unbiased professional. My ideal client is motivated to understand themselves better and to make the necessary adjustments to improve their quality of life.

I love helping clients identify what is holding them back in their lives and work on meeting new challenges with comfort and healing. My goal is to make clients feel comfortable and safe while they share their thoughts and feelings. I am here to be supportive but not tell you have to run your life- that is YOUR decision. I have approximately 30 years of experience in virtually all clinical settings. I began my career working in a juvenile penitentiary (referred to as a 'youth development center) and after almost 6 years, left that setting and moved on to new opportunities. Along the way, I worked with group homes, foster homes, substance abuse treatment programs, and even provided treatment in a sexual offender treatment program. In 2004 I went solely into private practice and currently operate two offices. I also provided on-site services to businesses that suffer a death or other disruptive event; I have provided over 170 of these services in four states during the last several years. While you don't need any faith to see me, I also offer Christian Counseling. Finally, I am a US Army veteran and understand the challenges and needs of veterans.
I operate under a practical approach that seeks to build on a person's strengths to achieve realistic, measurable goals. I utilize primarily cognitive behavioral therapy and reality therapy to help my clients achieve their goals and to live life more fully.

This belief is at the heart of my work as a therapist. I am passionate about walking alongside my clients as a team, helping them navigate challenges and achieve their goals. Additionally, I have provided therapeutic services for children, adolescents, and their families addressing a broad range of mental health challenges through Bristol Regional Counseling, Frontier Health’s school-based therapy and mobile crisis programs. Prior to becoming a social worker/therapist I had a variety of lived experiences including 24 years with Eastman Chemical Company and being a parent of two. The resilience, strengths, and diverse backgrounds of those I have assisted continually inform and inspire my clinical practice.
