Welcome! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 15 years of experience helping others cope with day-to-day stressors and past troubling events. Coping may involve identifying and reframing long-standing negative thoughts and assumptions or identifying our core values and goals, which can make frustrating or uncomfortable situations more manageable or put them into perspective. Seeing ourselves and our thoughts, issues or non-ideal behaviors for what they are can lead to greater self-awareness and the ability to offer ourselves the same compassion and understanding we give others. Our stuff is just that- stuff. Stuff we have accumulated along the road of life. Those things may impact us, but they do not need to control or define us.
Learning to see ourselves in this more neutral and accepting way leads to greater self-esteem and decreased self-doubt and negative judgement. This in turn makes change more possible.

Hi! I'm Rebecca! I specialize in trauma, autism, ADHD, and career transitions, particularly those fueled by burnout.
I help clients regain their a sense of directuon and safety in the world and (re)learn how to trust their own bodies and nervous systems.
I also help my clients understand how to work with their brains' unique processing style. Using a trauma-informed approach, I believe in letting my clients set their own pace, whether that looks like jumping right into the hard work or taking a bit of time to feel comfortable and confident before making big changes or sharing details about the past.
My therapeutic style is direct yet kind and compassionate. I make sure my clients feel heard and respected, but think it's equally important to challenge unhelpful behavioral and thought patterns. Research has found that the strength of therapeutic relationship is one of the most important factors in a client's success/healing, and I work hard to foster a professional yet authentic relationship built on mutual respect.
Welcome to your new chapter in self-care and healing! It is my pleasure to accompany you in transforming life's challenges into triumphs. My specialties include anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem, grief, and adjustments with life changes. I strive to provide an authentic, open space where you feel welcomed, understood, supported, and equipped with skills and resources throughout your healing journey in order to reach your goals.
What's been happening? My name is Erin, I am a licensed clinical social worker currently based in North Carolina. I received my Masters from Fordham University in New York, where I grew up. I have been working in the field for several years and have experience in different settings and practices. I have recently started the journey of working for myself and provide therapy and life coaching.
Hi there! I am Stephen Kovacs a licensed clinical social worker with 5 years of experience helping adults who feel constantly “on edge” from anxiety and panic—always braced for the next shoe to drop, even when life looks fine from the outside. I’m licensed as an LISW-CP in South Carolina and an LCSW in North Carolina and Virginia and practice predominantly in the evenings via telehealth.
My focus is on high-responsibility adults who are tired of living in survival mode: racing thoughts, worst‑case scenarios, physical symptoms like a racing heart or tight chest, and the burnout that comes from holding everything together for everyone else. Together, we’ll slow things down, make sense of what anxiety and panic are doing in your body and your life, and build concrete tools to manage spirals, reduce avoidance, and feel more in control day to day—not with fluffy advice, but with step‑by‑step, doable changes.

Feeling overwhelmed, stressed, and exhausted constantly? Isolated and alone because you don’t want to burden your friends or family with your problems? Or maybe you don’t know quite how to name why you feel this way or how to talk about it. Well, there is good news - therapy is the place to explore these challenging thoughts and feelings.
I’ve worked in mental health since 2016, helping people of all ages, backgrounds, and challenges. I approach mental health challenges with a holistic mindset to help identify what we can change, inside of our control, and increase resilience. Depression, anxiety, ADHD, and trauma are a few examples of mental health struggles that impact how we live and experience the world. However, the opposite is also true! Because our lifestyles can influence our ability to tolerate stress and feel good about ourselves. My job as a therapist is to help you identify what is working, and what isn't working, and what we can do about it. I believe in us working as a team and supporting you in achieving your goals, so you can reconnect with your inner strength, resilience, and confidence to manage life's challenging ebbs and flows.
Why choose me? Well, to help me feel less like a stranger, here is more detail about my background:
My M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling is from Lenoir Rhyne University's Graduate Center of Asheville, NC in Dec. 2020. I hold a B.S. in Psychology from Longwood University in Farmville, VA. I'm a Qualified Mental Health Professional with 5.5 years of direct care experience with teens in residential treatment. My graduate internship was community & school-based outpatient therapy with Access Family Services. August 2021 to March 2024, I was an outpatient therapist, in-person and virtual, with the center for emotional health.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in helping adults heal from trauma, chronic stress, and long-standing survival patterns. Many of the people I work with grew up navigating environments where safety, emotional support, or stability were inconsistent, and those experiences can continue to affect relationships, self-worth, and the nervous system well into adulthood.
My approach is compassionate, grounded, and practical. I integrate trauma-informed methods such as EMDR, somatic awareness, and nervous system regulation to help clients move beyond survival mode and reconnect with a stronger sense of self.
Therapy with me is a collaborative process. Together we work at a pace that feels safe while building the insight, resilience, and self-trust needed for lasting change. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or ready to understand yourself more deeply, therapy can be a powerful place to begin.

Hello! I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) who graduated in 2009 from a small college in Pennsylvania. Currently, I live in North Carolina and I am licensed here and in Tennessee. Originally, I am from Connecticut, but I have lived all over this country and have lived overseas as well when I was in the Peace Corps. I have been working mainly with adults who are living with anxiety, depression, and trauma. My focus is to help people live their best life. I do this through the therapy process, but I also try to include humor in our sessions.
As an Integrative Psychotherapist, I focus on helping you to achieve balance in Mind, Body, and Spirit. Are you struggling with feeling sad, down, and/or anxious? Have you suffered trauma and/or abuse? Do you feel ashamed and/or guilty? Do you struggle with liking/loving yourself? Do you feel unworthy? Do you compare yourself to others and view yourself as less than and/or behind? Are you finding it difficult to keep up with all the responsibilities and challenges of life? If so, I want you to know that you are not alone, I understand, and I am here for you to create a safe space wherein you can express yourself and be truly seen and heard.
I specialize in toxic shame, Type 2 Diabetes, and autoimmune-related health conditions such as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, Irritable Bowel Syndrome & Inflammatory Bowel Disease, and Psoriasis.
I wholeheartedly believe in you and your capacity to work through your struggles and create a life of joy and passion.
Hey there, I'm Jessica! I'm here to help you sort through the things that are difficult right now, and offer you a safe place to be open and honest without fear of judgement. I specialize in working with adults who are feeling stuck or overwhelmed. I believe everyone has the inner strengths needed to live their best life. But, it can be hard to recognize those strengths through the fog our stress response triggers. If you are looking for how to build confidence, inner peace and stability, you have come to the right place.
Overwhelming anxious thoughts, relationship issues, work avoidance, irritable mood, low self esteem, trouble concentrating, problems sleeping; These are some of the more common complaints clients have when first coming to therapy. Together we will work to identify the strategies and support you need to overcome whatever challenges you face.
Many people struggle a long time before seeking mental health care. But mental health is health! Just like in other specialties, preventative mental health care can be so effective in avoiding crisis and more serious illness. You do not have to suffer to deserve support! No matter the level of stress you are going through, you are worth taking care of.
I have several years of experience treating individuals, families, and adolescents using a holistic, empathic, and trauma-informed approach. Watching friends and family struggle with mental health and substance abuse issues fueled my passion for helping those who struggle with these difficulties from a place of understanding, patience, and empathy. I received a BA in psychology first, which led to obtaining a substance abuse certificate. I gained experience working with families and individuals and, after some time, I was ready to further my education and obtained a Master of Social Work. This helped me expand my clinical skills and learn more targeted therapy modalities, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, DBT, psychoanalytical care, and art therapy. I found these approaches are a great synthesis of neuroscience, trauma, and creativity.
I'm a laid-back, compassionate therapist who takes the time to really get to know you, your story, values, and what feels important right now. I create a space where you can talk openly without judgment, and we move at your pace. I pull from different therapeutic tools depending on what fits best for you, and together we determine what helps you feel supported and move toward the life you want. I help individuals (ages 11+) and couples navigate anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem, and life or relationship challenges with compassionate, person-centered, and evidence-based support. Whether you're facing life changes or seeking emotional resilience, I provide a safe space and practical tools to foster growth, clarity, and lasting well-being. Taking the first step toward gaining support can feel daunting, but you’re not alone. Together, we can explore ways to build resilience and gain clarity, helping you move forward with confidence.
You deserve to live your life feeling centered, safe, and well. You don't have to meditate for hours every day, become a yogi master, or spend years in therapy to achieve this. My goal is to provide you with a safe space to explore your feelings, identify your strengths, become comfortable with yourself, and find peace.
I am a licensed clinical social worker with more than 25 years of professional and/or lived experience with vicarious trauma/secondary traumatic stress, work stress, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and role changes through life stages. Whether it is anxiety, depression, grief/loss, burnout, relationships, family conflict, parenting issues, or managing emotions, you are desiring something different, and better. Because life is a journey and not a destination, how YOU define your past, identify YOUR present, and see YOUR future is important. Additionally, the tools you use to navigate your experiences aid in the outcomes of your life. Peace is possible. Wellness is possible. Life will not stop happening in the journey; however, you get to decide and define what wellness is for you.
Hello, I'm Robinette H. Dotson, MSEd, LCMHC, LPC, with two decades of experience assisting individuals to navigate life obstacles. I have a passion for assisting individuals with anxiety, depression, grief/loss, self-esteem, and life adjustments to achieve their overall vision of wellness via evidenced-based therapy and/or Christian faith-based therapy. What you can expect is a safe, non-judgmental atmosphere that allows you to "be" you. In this space, you give yourself grace and permission to heal, grow and develop toward overall wellness.
As you embrace the therapy process, growth and development are possible while navigating life obstacles toward wellness. The journey of wellness starts with you and continues because of you as long as you doing it FOR YOU. I look forward to the opportunity to partner with you in your wellness journey.
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the state of North Carolina and South Carolina. I received my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. Don't let that scare you. I do not judge and am easily relatable. I love working with clients who find themselves in a place where they have to make life decisions and help them think through what the best decisions would be.
