Hello! I believe that adversities don’t have to define who you are, rather, they can promote the resiliency necessary to develop who you’ll be and the story you’ll share. As a licensed mental health therapist and addiction specialist trained in EMDR with over 5 years of experience, my hope is to join you as you pursue the process of writing your growth and resiliency story. I work alongside my clients to cultivate a tailored approach to treatment through the incorporation of elements from multiple psychotherapy schools of thought and modalities. I will always show up authentically with a balance of compassion and directness to offer. If interested in working together, please do not hesitate to reach out. I would be more than happy to schedule a consultation to collaboratively talk through what brings us together and how I may be able to best support your mental health needs and therapy goals.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

My mission is to meet you where you - walking alongside as you create your own story of growth, strength, intentionality, and meaningful change. My own journey through mental health challenges and navigating a life of sobriety has shaped the way I connect with clients – bringing empathy, understanding, and a deep commitment to guiding them in developing practical strategies for growth and healing. You bring your experiences, goals, and values; I’ll bring a toolbox of diverse therapeutic skills, professional training, lived experiences, along with other necessary psychotherapy and philosophical schools of thought. Together, we’ll shape a process that feels engaging, challenging, and deeply supportive. You can expect to be met with a tactful blend of authenticity, compassion, and directness with a guaranteed dose of humor.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My lived experiences paired with my formal clinical training along with my ability to show up authentically while balancing compassion and directness would be my differentiator. I have the formal learning to be a qualified therapist with many hours of continued post grad training. However, my own journey through mental health challenges and navigating a life of sobriety has shaped the way I connect with clients – bringing empathy, understanding, and a deep commitment to guiding them in developing practical strategies for growth and healing.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Many of my clients come to me feeling stuck, overwhelmed, unfulfilled, underprepared, hopeless, disconnected, and under the weight of being. While I work with a variety of clients, I have a particular passion for working with men who are ready for change. Even if they’re not entirely sure what that change looks like. I feel most connected to those who want space to fully be themselves, without the mask, while exploring what’s working, what’s not working, and what is possible. My best work happens with clients who are ready to take an honest look at their lives, challenge unhelpful patterns, and build new ways of showing up for themselves and others
