I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that something isn't OK right now. That something might be new, or it might have been around a long time. You might be able to describe it perfectly, or you might just feel off without knowing why. Either way — you're here, and that's the only thing that matters right now. I start from wherever you are. No assumptions, no judgments, no one-size-fits-all approach. Just a genuine desire to understand you — what's brought you here, what you're carrying, and what you're hoping for. Therapy with me — whether you're coming alone or with a partner — tends to be honest and occasionally even a little lighthearted. The human experience isn't black and white, and neither is the work we'll do together. What stays consistent is that you'll have a space that belongs to you, where nothing you say or feel changes how I show up for you. For couples, that space belongs to both of you equally. I don't take sides. What I do is help you see the pattern you're both caught in — because most of the time it's the cycle doing the damage, not each other. When that shifts, something else becomes possible. No matter what it is you are navigating — depression, relationships, identity, or the gap between how you show up and how you actually feel inside — you don't have to have it figured out to reach out.

Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based out of North Carolina. I received my Masters degree from Arizona State University and have been practicing for over 10 years. I believe that working together in a safe, non-judgmental environment can create space for the healing you deserve. In my early career I worked with Child Protective Services to support the reunification of children with their biological parents. I then moved to North Carolina to continue work with keeping families together that had suffered trauma and/or behavioral issues. From there, I worked as an individual therapist working with teenagers and adults. During that time, I led groups that focused on education for women who experienced anxiety on a daily basis. Prior to the Grow Therapy platform, I worked to support adults in crisis who needed immediate psychiatric support.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who works with adults and young adults seeking supportive space to better understand themselves and navigate life’s challenges. I work with anxiety, chronic stress, burnout, relationship difficulties, and periods of transition or uncertainty. Whether navigating college, early adulthood, career decisions, changing relationships, or the next chapter of life, therapy can help clients gain perspective, clarify what matters and move forward with confidence. I also draw on my past experience working with children and teens to help parents strengthen connection and communication. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and engaged, while also being direct when helpful. I believe therapy can be meaningful and challenging without always feeling heavy and I often incorporate appropriate humor, warmth, and a genuine sense of humanity into our work. I use an integrative model that incorporates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Our work often focuses on clarifying values, building coping strategies, improving relationships and making changes that feel realistic. My name is Janet Muta and I am a Licensed Clinician with over 17 years of experience in mental health, behavioral issues and relationships. I treat individuals from diverse backgrounds. My approach is treating the whole person because most of the time our problems are the outcome of more than just one thing and when I get to know you I am able to address different issues that could be contributing to that one specific problem. We all experience some difficulties in our lives sometimes and we all cope differently. What works for one person/couple who are experiencing a similar situation may not work for another and so I personalize your treatment to fit you. Being in therapy is like being on a journey, I make sure you are in the driver’s seat and I become your great working GPS, guiding you to your desired destination. I also hold a degree in finance which sometimes comes handy when helping those who are stressed due to financial needs. Hi! I'm Rebecca! I'm an AuDHD therapist and specialize in trauma, autism, ADHD, and career transitions, particularly those fueled by burnout. I help clients regain their a sense of direction and safety in the world and (re)learn how to trust their own bodies and nervous systems. I also help my clients understand how to work with their brains' unique processing style. Using a trauma-informed approach, I believe in letting my clients set their own pace, whether that looks like jumping right into the hard work or taking a bit of time to feel comfortable and confident before making big changes or sharing details about the past. My therapeutic style is direct yet kind and compassionate. I make sure my clients feel heard and respected, but think it's equally important to challenge unhelpful behavioral and thought patterns. Research has found that the strength of therapeutic relationship is one of the most important factors in a client's success/healing, and I work hard to foster a professional yet authentic relationship built on mutual respect.

Hi there! I am Stephen Kovacs a licensed clinical social worker with 5 years of experience helping adults who feel constantly “on edge” from anxiety and panic—always braced for the next shoe to drop, even when life looks fine from the outside. I’m licensed as an LISW-CP in South Carolina and an LCSW in North Carolina and Virginia and practice predominantly in the evenings via telehealth. My focus is on high-responsibility adults who are tired of living in survival mode: racing thoughts, worst‑case scenarios, physical symptoms like a racing heart or tight chest, and the burnout that comes from holding everything together for everyone else. Together, we’ll slow things down, make sense of what anxiety and panic are doing in your body and your life, and build concrete tools to manage spirals, reduce avoidance, and feel more in control day to day—not with fluffy advice, but with step‑by‑step, doable changes.

I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Provider (CCTP).I hold a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Liberty University (2013) and earned my Doctor of Education in Community Care and Counseling with a focus in Traumatology in 2022. With over 113years of clinical experience, I have had the privilege of working across a broad spectrum of mental health settings. For the past eight years, I have supported active-duty service members and their families in an outpatient setting, providing trauma-informed care rooted in evidence-based practices. Prior to this, I worked in an inpatient facility with individuals experiencing persistent and severe mental illness. Currently, I also facilitate group therapy for adolescents in an acute inpatient setting, offering crisis stabilization and psychoeducation. I conceptualize treatment through the lens of Relational Frame Theory and approach therapy from a systemic perspective, always considering the broader relational and environmental factors impacting my clients. I strongly value mindfulness as both a personal and professional practice, integrating it regularly into treatment to support emotional regulation and present-moment awareness. Outside of my clinical work, I’ve been happily married for 20 years and am the proud parent of two teenage children. I share my home with two beloved dogs, a leopard gecko, and mud turtle. I have several years of experience treating individuals, families, and adolescents using a holistic, empathic, and trauma-informed approach. Watching friends and family struggle with mental health and substance abuse issues fueled my passion for helping those who struggle with these difficulties from a place of understanding, patience, and empathy. I received a BA in psychology first, which led to obtaining a substance abuse certificate. I gained experience working with families and individuals and, after some time, I was ready to further my education and obtained a Master of Social Work. This helped me expand my clinical skills and learn more targeted therapy modalities, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, DBT, psychoanalytical care, and art therapy. I found these approaches are a great synthesis of neuroscience, trauma, and creativity.

Let’s not sugar coat it! Starting therapy can feel like a HUGE, exciting and terrifying step forward. Let’s not focus on the mountain, let’s focus on what’s right in front of you! You don't have to have it all together, nor do you have to navigate life’s challenges alone. I’m Perleen Daroowalla and I aim to create a safe space where we can be straightforward and honest with each other while working through life’s challenges. I model the same honesty, accountability, and responsibility that I encourage in my clients. Therapy begins with where you are now, factors in where you have been, and builds a plan for where you want to go. You are the expert on your life! The therapeutic relationship is a collaborative process. Together, we will create an individualized plan based off where you want your life to be in a month, 6 months, and/or a year from now. I offer creative and realistic strategies to assist you in tackling life’s challenges. You'll leave sessions with skills you can actively use to accomplish your goals.

Hi, I'm Victoria, I've been honing my specialties for 30 years. I specialize in releasing trauma and old beliefs, rewiring mental habits to result in improved confidence, self esteem, clarity to follow dreams and goals. Since training in the bilateral therapies (EMDR, A.R.T., and Brainspotting) I've witnessed healing on a whole new level. Changing beliefs, thoughts and feelings that have been lifelong takes more than talking about, in my opinion. It requires change in the deep sub conscious, a place easily entered and "edited" utilizing these therapies, works much better and faster than only talking. This is my experience, and the reason why I specialize in these deeper, more sub conscious therapies. In addition, there are times when people prefer to talk, gaining much needed insight (light bulb moments) and releasing thoughts they don't feel comfortable sharing with others. Or, you need to problem solve, work through something cognitively. I practice other therapies that utilize talking as a main modality, too. The main priority is that you're comfortable. We will explore and find just that right fit, regarding modalities that work and also feel in sync with your needs.

I respect the therapeutic process and value the hard work and introspection it requires. Therapy is something that I am passionate about. Everyday it provides me an opportunity to help others and learn from others. I am proud of the things I have learned, but even more humbled and optimistic of things that I continue to learn. One thing I would tell you is that a have a real passion and commitment to counseling and the therapeutic process. It is and has been what I love to do. I put tremendous value on the importance communication, language, and building a good therapeutic relationship or rapport. Its important to me that you, the patient feel safe, heard, and valued. My counseling style is very laid back and supportive, with a very non-judgmental stance. However, I am not afraid to roll my sleeves up and work hard. I believe in being supportive, motivating, and challenging. Its important that you have the opportunity to work hard, learn, grow, while developing realistic attainable and measurable goals.
