In life we have peaks and valleys. For some, we find the valleys are the times we may feel most alone. I specialize in helping clients to feel less alone and much more empowered and to find clarity. In our aspirations to find love, peace and happiness we develop healthier relationships with self first and with others. In my practice I walk along side my clients on this journey of self fulfillment with a non judgmental and compassionate stance. My initial goal is to actively listen as client expresses what is most important to them and offer compassion and most importantly be sure the client is seen and heard while developing a genuine and authentic rapport.

Helping Thoughtful People Get Unstuck and Move Forward
Hi, I'm Donavon.
I’m a counselor with over 20 years of clinical experience and nearly 30 years working in helping professions. Over the years, clients have described me as encouraging, supportive, compassionate, and understanding.
One of the things I do especially well is helping people understand how the challenges they face today developed over time. That doesn’t mean spending weeks reliving the past. Instead, we focus on identifying patterns that contribute to anxiety, stress, ADHD-related struggles, relationship challenges, or feeling stuck, and then developing practical strategies that help you move forward.
My goal is to help people gain insight, develop better coping strategies, and begin making meaningful progress in their lives.
If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about the direction of your life, therapy can be a place to slow down, gain clarity, and begin moving forward again.

If you have found that to be a struggle in the past you may of had a bad connection with your therapist.

Welcome! I’m April, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina. Congratulations on taking the first step towards reaching your goals. Don’t discount the decision you’ve made to search for help, because many people never do so. I see counseling as a partnership between the therapist and the client; I have the mental health expertise while you’re the expert of you! For this reason I'll spend our earliest contacts getting to know you better.
Choosing a therapist is a very personal decision and therefore, I want to give you information so you can choose for yourself if you’d like to work with me. I would describe my counseling style as warm, but professional. I love to use strength-based approaches as much as possible, also incorporating your values into our work.
I find myself using an integrative approach, incorporating different theoretical frameworks and techniques that I will tailor to fit your needs. Two approaches I use most often are Person-Centered Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Person-Centered counseling uses a lot of reflection to help you process your thoughts and feelings, which is often the first step towards solving your problems. CBT helps us examine your thought patterns and whether they are helpful or harmful. If a particular thought is harmful that could trigger issues like a depressed mood, for example. We’ll work together to replace the harmful thoughts with more helpful ones. There are many other approaches to potentially integrate into our sessions, and I’d be happy to explain anything I believe may benefit you.
I have recently earned a certification in perinatal mental health (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International. You can learn more at https://postpartum.net/

I'm Sarah Olson, Licensed Clinical Social Worker and I have the privilege of walking with people during difficult moments in their lives. I believe there is nothing that life can hand you that cannot make you a better person once you do the work and get to the other side of it. I want to discover this with you. I want to gain your trust so we can talk about what truly is stopping you from being your best self.
Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based out of North Carolina. I received my Masters degree from Arizona State University and have been practicing for over 10 years. I believe that working together in a safe, non-judgmental environment can create space for the healing you deserve.
In my early career I worked with Child Protective Services to support the reunification of children with their biological parents. I then moved to North Carolina to continue work with keeping families together that had suffered trauma and/or behavioral issues. From there, I worked as an individual therapist working with teenagers and adults. During that time, I led groups that focused on education for women who experienced anxiety on a daily basis. Prior to the Grow Therapy platform, I worked to support adults in crisis who needed immediate psychiatric support.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes therapy doesn’t have to feel like sitting in a stiff chair while someone silently nods at you. I bring both professionalism and a sense of humor into the room, because sometimes laughter really is the best coping skill .I’ve worked with teens, college students, and adults for the last 7 years. Some common concerns I have helped navigate are stress, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationships, and the big messy in-betweens that don’t necessarily always fit neatly into a diagnosis.
Have you tried everything to manage anxiety that affects your day-to-day life? Do you feel overwhelmed by just getting through the day? Do you wonder if you will ever feel better? Many people are finding themselves feeling overwhelmed now more than ever.
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina. I have been a Mental Health Professional for over 20 years. I have been practicing as a LCMHC for 18 years.
Are you feeling overwhelmed by your thoughts and emotions or grappling with uncertainty about how to manage them? It’s entirely understandable to notice patterns in your thoughts and behaviors that no longer serve you. If you’re ready to embark on a journey of meaningful change, I’m here to walk alongside you and offer my support at every step.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS), and a Registered Electroneurodiagnostic Technician, I bring a wealth of experience from diverse clinical settings, including crisis response, detox facilities, and both individual and group therapy.
My approach is compassionate and integrative, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT). Together, we will work to understand how your thoughts and emotions influence your actions. With CBT, we can gently identify and challenge unhelpful thinking patterns that may be holding you back. MI will provide a space for you to explore and address any ambivalence about change, helping you uncover your motivation for growth. Through SFT, we will focus on your unique strengths and practical solutions that resonate with your goals.
In our work together, we will explore both current challenges and past experiences to gain insight into how they shape your life today. I am deeply committed to supporting the holistic healing of your mind, body, and spirit, tailoring my approach to honor your unique journey.
You don’t have to navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, or everyday stress alone. Wherever you find yourself on this path—whether you’re seeking help for the first time or returning for deeper work—you are taking a brave and vital step.
