I am a licensed clinical social worker in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and Georgia, as well as a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist in North Carolina, with over 8 years of experience walking alongside individuals ages 16–55+ through life’s challenges. My passion is helping people navigate stress, anxiety, depression, burnout, mood changes, and the lingering effects of trauma.
I feel especially honored to work with those recovering from narcissistic relationships or past trauma, who are now ready to rediscover and rebuild their sense of self after years of putting others’ needs before their own. In our work together, I strive to create a safe, compassionate, and empowering space where you can begin to heal, grow, and reconnect with your authentic self.
My therapy style is collaborative, warm, and supportive—I believe in meeting you exactly where you are and walking alongside you as you move toward your goals. I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness practices, and elements of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Together, we will find strategies and tools that fit who you are and support lasting change.
Welcome! I am Robyn. These days many people are feeling anxious, overwhelmed, and depressed. Sometimes they feel as if no matter what they do, it isn't enough and either they or those around them are never happy with themselves. How about you? Are you trying to manage to be the best parent, spouse, and employee that you can be? Are you struggling with a recent life transition or the loss of a loved one or relationship? Are you lying awake at night reviewing the list of things you think you should have accomplished? Or are you ruminating on what you said to someone, how you said it, and what you should have done differently? You are not alone! Many people experience these feelings and you do not have to continue to feel like this! You CAN FEEL BETTER!
I work with adults of all ages who are struggling with these things by providing a safe space to talk about and work through these issues. I strive to empower them to discern their strengths, their priorities, and the barriers to feeling better. Once we’ve done that, I help them find ways to address those barriers and build new coping skills they can use to overcome the challenges of anxiety, depression, managing change, and people-pleasing.
Change is not easy! I am impressed by your courage in taking the first step of asking for help to start your journey toward feeling better! You deserve to have someone skilled and trustworthy to guide you to grow and heal. I will compassionately work with you using evidence-based techniques to get beyond the challenges you are experiencing and on the road to feeling better! I’d love to have the privilege of working with you!
I bring both clinical experience and personal understanding to the therapy room. I’ve navigated my own mental health struggles and I am a survivor of suicide loss. These experiences deepen my commitment to meeting clients with empathy, authenticity, and respect. I have worked with men and women of all ages. I have worked with veterans and active duty members as well. If you’re ready to take the next step, I’d be honored to support you.
Hey! I'm a Licenced Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) providing telehealth services in several states. I have worked in mental health since 2010 and have been in private practice for 3 years. My clients are working adults who are overwhelmed and I help them identify ways to improve their relationships with themselves, family, work, money, etc. My goal is to help my clients curate a life that they value.
Hey, I’m Mariah! I work with women who look like they have it together on the outside but internally feel exhausted, anxious, overwhelmed, and stuck in patterns they can’t seem to break. A lot of my clients are the ones everyone depends on. They’re successful, self-aware, high-achieving, and used to pushing through. But underneath that, they’re overthinking everything, emotionally drained, struggling in relationships, and wondering why they still feel so stuck despite years of trying to “work on themselves.”
Many have done therapy before and left frustrated because they gained insight but nothing actually changed.
My approach is honest, direct, and focused on getting to the root of what’s keeping you stuck — not just helping you manage symptoms. I help clients understand the deeper patterns behind their anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, emotional burnout, and relationship struggles so they can stop surviving life on autopilot.
I’m not the therapist who just sits quietly and nods for 50 minutes. I’ll challenge you, connect the dots, and help you make real shifts in the way you relate to yourself and others. I also offer private pay therapy for clients looking for more personalized care without the limitations insurance can place on treatment. Clients are able to use HSA/FSA funds to pay for services and are able to receive partial reimbursement through out-of-network benefits.
You deserve to live your life feeling centered, safe, and well. You don't have to meditate for hours every day, become a yogi master, or spend years in therapy to achieve this. My goal is to provide you with a safe space to explore your feelings, identify your strengths, become comfortable with yourself, and find peace.
I am a licensed clinical social worker with more than 25 years of professional and/or lived experience with vicarious trauma/secondary traumatic stress, work stress, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and role changes through life stages. I understand the experience of loving and living with someone who is struggling with mental health and/or addiction concerns.
You are not alone, and there is nothing wrong with you. We will work together to get you where you want to be. Let me help you be your best self.
I am a Licensed Clinical and Mental Health Counselor and work together with the client to peel back the layers of the onion, uncovering client’s suffering and route of healing. Through this journey of exploration clients increase self-awareness and self-love. Growth is part of the journey which requires clients to step outside of comfort, instead engaging in exploration as a path to healing. As a counselor, I journey with the client as expert to increase wellness and authenticity. Suffering is part of the journey, and a path to healing we discover together. Sometimes going through the healing process can be scary, but I am excited to meet you where you are and walk with you to where you want to go.
Hi, I'm Debbie Howard, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC). Reaching out for support takes courage, and I would be honored to walk alongside you! I have 15 years experience helping individuals, families and youth work through challenges such as life transitions, stress, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and parenting. I also specialize in helping children and teens build resilience, confidence, and coping skills that support lasting change at home and school.
My approach is warm, client-centered, and collaborative. I believe therapy should feel empowering, supportive, and tailored to your unique needs and goals. I integrate a variety of evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavior Therapy(CBT), Alternative Family CBT, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) , mindfulness, trauma-informed care, and solution focused therapy. I have several years of experience treating individuals, families, and adolescents using a holistic, empathic, and trauma-informed approach. Watching friends and family struggle with mental health and substance abuse issues fueled my passion for helping those who struggle with these difficulties from a place of understanding, patience, and empathy. I received a BA in psychology first, which led to obtaining a substance abuse certificate. I gained experience working with families and individuals and, after some time, I was ready to further my education and obtained a Master of Social Work. This helped me expand my clinical skills and learn more targeted therapy modalities, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, DBT, psychoanalytical care, and art therapy. I found these approaches are a great synthesis of neuroscience, trauma, and creativity.
Hello there! I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor (LCMHC) from North Carolina. I received my masters in 2019, and have been working in the field since 2020 professionally. I primarily use cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) with elements mixed from other modalities like feminism and solution focused brief treatment as I work to aid and support issues related to: depression, anxiety, emotional management, mens issues, queer/lgbtq+ issues, and more. I primarily work with adults 18+ but I do have experience working with teens and couples as well.
My practice over the past 30 years as an LCMHC has allowed me to help people of diverse backgrounds overcome a variety of life's challenges. I help people by meeting with them, learning about their problems and discovering ways for them to feel more at ease. The most common issues that I help people with involve their moods (for example sadness, worrying, anger or stress) and with their relationships.
All types of people come to see me; people just like you who have hit a bump in the road and want to help themselves feel better again. I've focused on adults and couples struggling with anxiety, depression, controlling anger, family conflict, substance abuse, and behavioral issues. If you're looking for someone to help, I'd welcome your call!
Minds are designed for thinking and it is human nature to make connections with others. I am dedicated to helping a client slow down to contemplate, explore, and become self-aware of their own needs, personal well-being, interests, strengths and how to relate to others. I will help clients create spaces and opportunities to practice emotional regulation, explore difficult situations, provide therapy for previous history of trauma and loss, and begin or continue a healing journey.

My primary goal is to guide clients beyond their pain, empowering them to embrace change. It’s essential to recognize that transformation requires ongoing effort it’s not an overnight process. Rather, it unfolds second by second, minute by minute, hour by hour, and day by day. I am committed to walking alongside them on this journey toward greater well-being.

I'm a North Carolina therapist specializing in ADHD, executive function, and anxiety in adults. Many of my clients are thoughtful, capable people who already understand themselves well. What gets in the way is knowing what to do differently when real-life demands, emotions, or old habits take over. Sessions are virtual, so therapy fits into a busy life.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 12 years of experience, my approach blends a relaxed atmosphere with a clear, goal‑oriented structure. Each session follows an agenda designed to support your treatment goals, while still leaving room for anything you need to get off your shoulders. I’m excited to meet you and begin this work together.
