Hi, I'm Elizabeth, Do you have goals you would like to work on but feel stuck or unsure where to start? Do you want to improve your relationships with your body and/or food? I specialize in working with people who want to improve their relationships with food and their bodies. I also focus on working with individuals with substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders. I have a background in DBT, inpatient settings, substance abuse treatment centers, and private practice. I am HAES aligned and a member of the Association for Size Diversity and Health. I am also a member of the pro-choice therapists' directory.
During our first session I strive to create a warm and inviting space for you to feel comfortable with opening up about what brings you to therapy.
I believe that my collaborative approach to therapy is one of my biggest strengths. I am compassionate and empathetic. I believe that holding space with someone is one of the most powerful aspects of the therapeutic relationship.
I am particularly focused on eating disorders, substance use disorders, and co-occurring disorders.
I identify as
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I have experience co-facilitating DBT skills groups. In an individual setting I will provide psychoeudcation on skills that would benefit each client. We will practice the skills in session.
