Helping Thoughtful People Get Unstuck and Move Forward
Hi, I'm Donavon.
I’m a counselor with over 20 years of clinical experience and nearly 30 years working in helping professions. Over the years, clients have described me as encouraging, supportive, compassionate, and understanding.
One of the things I do especially well is helping people understand how the challenges they face today developed over time. That doesn’t mean spending weeks reliving the past. Instead, we focus on identifying patterns that contribute to anxiety, stress, ADHD-related struggles, relationship challenges, or feeling stuck, and then developing practical strategies that help you move forward.
My goal is to help people gain insight, develop better coping strategies, and begin making meaningful progress in their lives.
If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about the direction of your life, therapy can be a place to slow down, gain clarity, and begin moving forward again.
Welcome to FaithWorks Therapy! I provide virtual therapy for adults, couples, and families across Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Texas, New Jersey, Nevada, Georgia, and Illinois. I help clients navigate anxiety, depression, stress, grief, relationship challenges, family conflict, and life transitions in a compassionate, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment. My approach is tailored to your unique needs and goals, empowering you to build healthier relationships, develop effective coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change. Faith-based counseling is available upon request for those who wish to incorporate their Christian faith into therapy, but it is always optional and never required.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker conducting sessions virtually in New York, New Jersey, Illinois, Pennsylvania and Nevada. I specialize in people that are going through tough times and need coping skills to manage. Life might have thrown you curve balls, and you might not be accepting of the uncertainty and the change. I'll be here to tell you that bad situations can be temporary and life changes can also be great. I specialize in helping people who fall down but get back up. I'll help you to talk about your feelings and help you to make treatment goals that you have been wanting to reach.
I have been a licensed therapist for over 20 years. Currently licensed in California and Nevada. I understand that reaching out and starting the therapy process can be a little overwhelming in and of itself, so I strive to set a pace that is comfortable for my client. If you are ready to dive into the deep end, we will go there. If you need some time to ease into the hard work of therapy, we will go at a pace that feels comfortable. I see myself as a guide in the process of therapy and, at times, more of a teacher, sharing strategies and information. My goal as a therapist is to help you develop the resources and strategies to feel confident in your ability to handle life challenges. Sometimes that involves really getting in touch with the way you think and what you believe, or exploring how you are talking to yourself, or it might involve healing childhood wounds. Since each client is unique I use a variety of therapeutic techniques, I incorporate evidenced based strategies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and sometimes complimentary therapies such as Guided Imagery. I tend to be eclectic in my approach because each person is an individual, and there is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to resolving life issues.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor.
I received my Master of Science in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University in 2014.
I am a National Certified Counselor, Certified Grief Counselor, an Advanced Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist, Certified Forensic Mental Health Evaluator, and Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor. I focus mostly on Psychodynamic Therapy, CBT, and Motivational Interviewing to allow clients to safely and openly share their struggles and help them gain insight and motivation for change in their own lives but frequently apply other modalities based on the needs clients as I am client centered. I am also solution focused so that we can get started as soon as clients are comfortable to begin this journey. In working with me, your safety is paramount and I will ensure that my skills are utilized in helping you feel safe to share your struggles and work through your challenges.
I am trauma informed, compassionate, empathetic, and nonjudgmental in my work with clients to build rapport and help them feel comfortable to work to overcome their struggles.
In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with friends, traveling, cooking, and spending time with family.

Hi, I’m Tiana, a LCSW passionate about helping people reconnect with their most authentic selves. My practice is built for individuals who are ready to move past simply "surviving" day-to-day and instead intentionally step into a life that truly aligns with who they want to be.
My clinical philosophy centers on a vital pivot: I prioritize protecting your long-term energy and sustainable well-being over just maintaining a comfortable, temporary peace. I specialize in navigating complex life transitions, deep identity development, and processing the disconnect that happens when the professional or public personas we create to survive begin to overshadow who we actually are. In our work together, you will find an open-minded, grounded, and deeply collaborative space where you are safely challenged to step out of old roles and fully embody your true self.

Together, we can identify what's not working and what's needed to get you aligned with the life you envision. We'll use a whole self approach, addressing the needs of your mind, body and spirit. I am a 46 year old single father of two wonderful boys. I found my purpose as a therapist after years in the business world. In addition to work, I enjoy living an active, playful life with my kiddos.
I am a mental health therapist dedicated to supporting individuals as they navigate anxiety, depression, life transitions, and the stressors that come with everyday responsibilities. I believe therapy should feel like a safe, collaborative space where you can show up exactly as you are — without judgment. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), an evidence-based approach that helps identify how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. Together, we work to recognize unhelpful thought patterns, build healthier coping strategies, and create meaningful, sustainable change. I also understand that therapy is not one-size-fits-all, and I tailor treatment to each person’s unique experiences, needs, and goals.
As a first-generation Latina, I have a deep appreciation for how culture, family expectations, and lived experiences shape how we see ourselves and move through the world. I strive to create a space where cultural identity is respected and understood, and where clients can openly explore how these influences impact their mental health and relationships.
My goal is to help you feel empowered, supported, and equipped with tools that help you move toward the life you want. Seeking therapy can feel like a big step, and I am honored to be part of that journey with you.

I am dedicated to providing compassionate and understanding support throughout your therapeutic journey.
~I am currently accepting new clients~ My philosophy is that life is a journey and we can be thrown unexpected difficulties and challenges during the ride. Welcome — this is a space where you can be honest, seen, and understood. I’m Shakea “Kea” Roper, LCSW, and I bring 15 years of clinical and life experience to our therapeutic partnership. If you’ve ever felt stuck, overwhelmed, or burdened by cycles that just won’t shift — I see you.
I specialize in helping people manage anxiety, depression, racing or intrusive thoughts, life transitions, and relational struggle. My style is active, grounded, and rooted in both compassion and challenge. Many clients say: “Kea listens like no one else — and she’s not afraid to stretch me when I need it.”
I integrate evidence-based approaches (CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused, Strengths-Based, Brief Therapy) along with more specialized models:
Making Sense of Your Worth (MSoYW): an 8-week group curriculum developed by HALO Project where we explore and heal the internal “lies” we believe about ourselves, rebuild toward positive self-worth and secure attachment.
Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT): a structured, cognitive-behavioral system where we work through step-by-step exercises to enhance reasoning, decision-making, and a healthier identity (beyond self-destructive or impulsive patterns).
I also actively engage in community work, and I’m currently pursuing my doctorate (which continues to deepen my perspective and rigor). Outside of sessions, you’ll often find me at board game night, crafting, or spending time with family.
It’s an honor to walk alongside you. Nelson Mandela said, “Everything seems impossible until it’s done.” Let’s work together toward the possible.
I’m currently accepting clients in Pennsylvania, Missouri, Kansas, Utah, North Dakota, and Nevada.
I believe that each one of us has the answers to our problems inside of us. However, sometimes we need someone on our journey to help us unlock those answers by asking the right questions---things you may not have considered, presenting proven strategies, and psychoeducation. Although, you will make strides with the energy and effort you give, the number one predictor that one will improve is the quality of the therapeutic relationship. I hope to provide a place of warmth, compassion, and acceptance in which you feel empowered and free to approach any concerns. I am here to help you along on your journey.
I am a licensed mental health counselor in Arizona, Florida, Massachusetts, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, and Utah. I graduated from Florida Atlantic University with an Educational Specialist degree in Mental Health Counseling. I also earned a Master's of Art from Roosevelt University. I have experience working with youth and their families as well as adults. The theoretical framework that I usually draw from is Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy. I also apply Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing Techniques as needed. I address trauma, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, interpersonal skills, self-esteem, anger, problem-solving, and decision-making. In conjunction with therapy, I believe that exercise, proper nutrition, and good sleep hygiene are an integral part of overcoming mental health concerns.
Change, even positive change can be challenging and uncomfortable. I hope to provide the necessary support as a champion of change.

I help people who are struggling with depression, anxiety, ADHD, and other mental disorders. I help them further develop their mindfulness, assertive communication skills, and capacity for love & respect for themselves, and, consequently, the rest of the world. I don't merely believe in therapy, I know first-hand the beneficial power it can provide. Before seeking mental health services for myself, I not only suffered from low self-esteem, I also experienced severe panic attacks. I am, and forever will be, grateful each and every day that those symptoms now only exist in my past. These are just a few of the reasons why mental health is by far my greatest passion in life.
