About me

As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I believe that trust is the foundation of any meaningful therapeutic relationship. My priority is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel truly seen, heard, and respected. I approach each person with warmth, authenticity, and compassion - meeting them where they are and honoring the vulnerability it takes to seek help. As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I specialize in helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life's most challenging moments with compassion, clarity, and connection. With years of clinical experience, I bring a warm, collaborative approach to therapy, grounded in evidenced-based practices and a respect for each person's unique journey.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session with me is relaxed, supportive, and completely centered on helping you feel comfortable and understood. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, grounded, and clearer about what you want from therapy.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My therapeutic approach is shaped not only by my clinical training but also by my own lived experiences with mental health and life's challenges. This helps me show up with humility, authenticity, empathy, and a grounded nonjudgmental presence. Clients often tell me they feel safe, understood, and supported from the very first session.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is someone who feels overwhelmed, stuck, maybe struggling with depression and anxiety, and may feel disconnected from themselves, their relationships, or their sense of purpose- and is ready for compassionate, structured support to create meaningful change.

My treatment methods

EMDR

As a marriage and family therapist, I integrate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help clients process trauma, reduce emotional distress, and build adaptive coping skills.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral therapy with client to help them recognize maladaptive thoughts that may be contributing to maladaptive behaviors. I work with clients to observe the thoughts and then to replace the maladaptive thoughts with more neutral and adaptive ones.

Existential

In my work as a marriage and family therapist, I integrate existential therapy to help clients explore meaning, identity, freedom, and responsibility within their lives and relationships. I use this approach when clients feel stuck, disconnected, anxious, or unsure of their direction, especially during major life transitions or identity shifts.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

In my practice, I use Person-Centered therapy as a foundation for creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental therapeutic relationship. This approach guides how I show up with clients and how I help them move toward healing, growth, and self-understanding.
