I’m a queer Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing in-person and virtual therapy in Northwest Indiana, as well as virtual therapy in Minnesota and Michigan. I offer affirming, client-centered care for teens and adults navigating LGBTQ+ identities, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and the challenges that come with being human. My goal is to create a safe, inclusive space where you can show up as your authentic self and explore your feelings and experiences without judgment. I blend evidence-based approaches with genuine human connection, because feeling truly seen and supported is often where healing begins.
Whatever obstacles and struggles someone may be going through in life, I consider it a privilege to help them cope. I understand that the clients I see are entrusting me to give them the right resources to guide them down a new path, with a new perspective, so they can achieve their own goals. With a healthy balance of listening, guiding, and even learning, I take pride in using my own experience and resources to help people really start off on the right foot on that path. Whether you, or someone you know struggles with something like anxiety, or simply wants a different outlook on their life, it’s something to work through together, and by setting up an intake, we can get started.
I believe therapy should feel calm, respectful, and genuinely supportive. I create a space where people can slow down, speak openly, and feel heard without judgment or pressure. My approach is warm, grounded, and collaborative, allowing clients to explore their experiences at a pace that feels comfortable while still working toward meaningful change.
Many people come to therapy carrying stress, anxiety, relationship challenges, or past experiences while continuing to manage daily responsibilities. I enjoy helping people make sense of what they are going through, build insight, and reconnect with their strengths. Conversations are honest and thoughtful, with a focus on understanding the whole person rather than just one concern.
My goal is to offer steady guidance while respecting each client’s individuality, goals, and values. Therapy becomes a space to reflect, gain clarity, heal, and begin moving forward with greater confidence and emotional balance.

I’m a therapist who help people and couples when life feels really hard. Most of the people I work with are men and women in relationships with each other. Many come to me when they’re feeling hurt, lost, or scared their relationship might fall apart. If you and your partner are fighting all the time, feeling distant, or just can’t seem to fix things, I want you to know you’re not alone-and things can get better.
Even though I’m part of the LGBTQ+ community myself, I work with all kinds of people. I have a lot of experience helping men and women who are married or dating each other, as well as people from different backgrounds, including LGBTQ+ folks.
My way of helping is gentle, caring, and never judgmental. When you’re stressed out, anxious, or overwhelmed, I help you slow down, breathe, and see what’s really going on. We’ll talk through your worries and pain, and I’ll give you tools you can use right away to feel calm and in control. My approach helps couples talk without yelling, listen without shutting down, and start feeling close again-even when things seem hopeless.
I also help people who are dealing with anxiety, depression, ADHD, or feeling different from others. No matter what you’re facing, my goal is to help you feel safe, understood, and less alone. Together, we’ll find ways to ease your stress and bring back hope.

Ideally, enjoying the moment, knowing how to soothe overwhelming feelings, and engaging our sparkling personalities helps us feel alive.
My clients enjoy my approach of exploring practical strategies by using guiding questions. Exploring thoughts and emotional pain benefits from curiosity and compassion. I am also trained in EMDR, which can be supportive in reframing negative belief systems and releasing trauma.

My experience spans some of the most complex and high-stakes corners of clinical practice, which means I don’t shy away from hard things. Whether you’re navigating trauma, life transitions, family dynamics, or the particular weight of carrying two cultures at once, I offer a space that is grounded, thoughtful, and deeply human. At the same time, the best description of me is, I am a chameleon. I adapt myself as a clinician to your needs, in order to truly meet you where you are at. Welcome. I help clients navigate midlife and later life transitions. My goal is to help you feel as mentally and emotionally well as possible while moving through these changes with greater ease. I find it deeply rewarding to help clients discover meaning and fulfillment during these stages of their lives. In our sessions, I listen closely and support you as you work through your challenges. I help you gain insight and develop practical strategies, so you feel less anxious and depressed, have more satisfying family relationships, thrive at work or enjoy retirement, and live in alignment with your values. I also understand how disorienting it can feel to navigate change without a clear map, whether that's an empty nest, a career shift, retirement, or the loss of someone important to you. My own life experience and years of practice have taught me that these transitions, while hard, can also open the door to a deeper sense of purpose.
I am a culturally responsive therapist who recognizes that culture, family experiences, identity, and life circumstances shape how we understand ourselves, navigate relationships, and respond to life's challenges. I strive to create a safe, respectful, and supportive environment where individuals can show up authentically, explore their experiences without judgment, and feel empowered to embrace their unique stories and strengths.
With more than 15 years of experience working with adolescents, adults, and families, I tailor therapy to meet each client's individual needs, values, and goals. Together, we explore the experiences, beliefs, and narratives that have shaped your life, including strengths and sources of resilience that may have been overlooked or undervalued. My approach helps clients uncover their inner resources, gain deeper self-understanding, and develop a more empowered and compassionate perspective of themselves.
I believe that every person has a unique story worth understanding. Through a collaborative therapeutic process, I help clients identify patterns, build on their strengths, and create meaningful change that aligns with who they are and who they want to become.
