I'm Lia, a therapist with over 14 years of experience. I'm dedicated to helping clients understand the connections between their thoughts, feelings, and actions, guiding them to navigate life's challenges with clarity and confidence. My therapeutic approach combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with mindfulness to promote awareness and well-being. I am bicultural and bilingual and speak Brazilian Portuguese. I am currently licensed to provide therapy in MA and in FL.
My approach is collaborative and grounded in evidence-based practices. I also have a strong interest in working with individuals struggling with problem gambling, offering structured and supportive interventions to foster change.
I have a particular passion for supporting fathers and men as they navigate parenting, identity, and emotional well-being. Whether you're dealing with stress, feeling stuck, or working through a specific issue, I provide a warm, nonjudgmental space to help you move forward.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than a decade of experience supporting individuals, families, and communities through a wide range of life challenges. I earned my Master of Social Work from The Ohio State University in 2008, after completing my Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Psychology in 2004. My academic journey also includes two years at Florida State University and an Addictions Certificate from the University of Michigan, which I received in 2015.
After graduating, I returned to my hometown of Detroit, Michigan, where I became licensed and began practicing as a social worker. Throughout my career, I have worked as a therapist, crisis manager, and adjunct professor; roles that have allowed me to develop a well-rounded, real-world understanding of the issues people face in everyday life.
My work has been guided by a strong commitment to strengthening both interpersonal and intrapersonal awareness as a pathway to meaningful change. I believe that growth happens when individuals feel understood, supported, and equipped with practical tools to navigate life’s complexities. Through my work with individuals and families across the lifespan, I strive to approach each person with compassion, curiosity, and respect, supporting emotional, mental, and physical well-being at every stage of human development.
Hi there! I have been a licensed therapist for 9 years, working in outpatient hospital system; I also worked for 10 years on a psychiatric crisis team. I have worked with just about every type of condition but have concentrated on people with anxiety, ADHD, career decisions and interpersonal relationship struggles. My niche age groups are females/males aged 20-35, whom I see in a very transitional and challenging period in life. Women ages 40-65 are my second demographic. My own lived experiences give me insight and help me to guide my clients through challenging times.
Finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming—especially during seasons of transition or uncertainty. I earned my dual LMHC/School Adjustment Counselor degree from Cambridge College in 2017, and I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals, couples, and families as they navigate life’s challenges and growth.
My professional background has been shaped by my work as an adjustment counselor and mental health clinician, where I specialize in helping adolescents and young adults manage emotional stress, life transitions, and identity development and empowering clients to strengthen coping skills, process difficult experiences, and move forward with greater confidence and resilience.

Hello, I am a licensed mental health counselor. I have lived in Texas, Colorado, Massachusetts and now New Hampshire. I have been practicing for over 25 years. My experience enables me to provide well rounded care to individuals.
Everyone has a different life experience, different circumstances that brought you to where you are today. We are doing the best we can but sometimes may feel stuck. My approach is to work collaboratively to improve your life experience.
It’s not uncommon to feel lost at times, especially when life feels like it's pulling you in all directions. If you’re looking to better understand yourself, your emotions, and the patterns that might be holding you back from living the life you want, I’m here to help.
What I’ve learned in my years of therapy work is that lasting change only happens when there’s a genuine connection between client and therapist. That’s why I show up as my true, authentic self in every session. I create a space where you can feel safe, supported, and understood—no judgment, no pressure. Just a warm, inviting space for you to be yourself.
I believe in being honest and transparent, which means I might gently challenge your perspectives and help you see where you might be getting in your own way. It’s not about criticism; it’s about growth, and I’ll always meet you with empathy and respect along the way. There may be times I fumble my words or forget what I am saying because I am human too. I understand that therapy can be intimidating or even awkward at times, and I embrace that with you. What matters is that we’re in this together.
In our work together, you are in the driver's seat. You’ll guide us in the direction you want to go. Sometimes that will mean tackling external stressors like work, relationships, or family issues. Other times, it might mean diving into deeper, internal struggles—because often, once we work on strengthening our inner world, we can approach external challenges with more confidence and clarity.
Whether you're looking to develop a healthier mindset, explore your emotions, or build more self-compassion, my focus will always be on supporting you as you take small, meaningful steps forward. We’ll celebrate even the smallest victories, because every win counts.
After having a career in the medical and academic fields, I went back to college to earn my MSW and LCSW. My focus was to develop the skills necessary to help people in my community. My mission is to give back to the community and to help those who need to overcome the paralyzing effects of depression, anxiety, and dysfunctional thinking rather caused by academic stress/change, a medical condition, relationship issues or life stresses. People suffering from depression, anxiety, panic, and OCD are often not only battling the disease but also its impact on their families. The impacts are great. The impact can be job loss or change, financial issues, marriage difficulties, or family dynamic shifts. Most patients have one or more of these impacts to deal with at the same time they are dealing with their condition. The combination can be very overwhelming and difficult to understand. My focus is to help my clients learn to cope with the new challenges of their condition. Together, we will explore the tools that can be used to learn to cope. I believe that together we can make a very difficult time easier

I’m a seasoned therapist with extensive experience supporting children, teens, and parents across school, community mental health, and addiction treatment settings. My approach is grounded in years of helping individuals, families, and groups navigate life’s challenges with compassion and evidence-based care.

Many of the young people I work with have been diagnosed with ADHD, anxiety, or depression, and may struggle with self-esteem, peer relationships, or challenges at school and home. Together, we set meaningful treatment goals and work toward creating lasting, positive change in their daily lives.
While much of my work focuses on youth, I also work with parents navigating the transitions of parenthood, supporting children with mental health or neurodevelopmental diagnoses (such as ADHD), and addressing the impact of trauma or substance use within the family system.
As a therapist, I take an integrative and compassionate approach, helping clients navigate life's challenges by developing healthy coping skills. I work with individuals to explore the deeper roots of their struggles, whether it's anxiety, ADHD, or other emotional difficulties, and help them break free from avoidance behaviors that may hold them back from a fulfilling life. My goal is to help clients embrace their unique strengths, manage limitations, and create a safe, non-judgmental space where they can grow, make sense of their thoughts and emotions, and become the best version of themselves.

My name is Ryan, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I graduated with my MS in Clinical Mental Health Care at Bay Path University in 2018. I have worked in an outpatient setting, as a therapist, since the fall of 2018. Prior to completing my program, I gained valuable experience through Crisis services as a clinician and support counselor. I have worked with people of all ages and from a variety of backgrounds.
My therapeutic approach is eclectic with attention to client centered, a more holistic approach which encompasses the entire body as we tend to suffer as a whole being. I want to work with those to reintegrate those parts. People often do not realize the power of our thoughts and how it can negatively impact our overall wellbeing. I often tell people that our brain is a powerful tool. We are built to survive rather than thrive- this is a primordial skill that has not left us, but we have more effective tools.
It is important to me to provide a safe, non-judgmental, and comfortable space to talk about uncomfortable life situations. I do well within the neurodivergent community, and have aided in navigating difficult milestones in their lives.
