LICSW, 15 years of experience
New to Grow
I’m a licensed therapist and social worker with years of experience supporting adults as they work through life’s challenges and transitions. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), an evidence-based, goal-oriented approach that helps clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthier perspectives, and strengthen daily coping skills. My style is warm and collaborative, creating a supportive environment where clients feel understood, encouraged, and equipped with tools for meaningful, lasting change.
In our first session, you’ll find a relaxed space to share your story and goals at your own pace. We’ll get to know each other, explore what brings you to therapy, and outline a plan for moving forward together.
What sets my approach apart is the balance of practical tools and genuine connection. I use evidence-based methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients challenge unhelpful thoughts and build healthier habits, but I also bring warmth, empathy, and real-world understanding to each session. Clients often tell me they appreciate that therapy with me feels both supportive and action-oriented—they leave with new insights as well as concrete strategies they can start using right away.
I am best positioned to serve motivated adult clients who are ready to actively engage in the therapeutic process. Many of the people I work with are navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, or stress and are seeking practical tools to create meaningful change. Whether your goals are to shift unhelpful thought patterns, strengthen coping strategies, or build confidence in handling everyday challenges, I provide a supportive space where you can feel understood and empowered to move forward.
I have extensive experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a highly effective and evidence-based approach that helps clients identify unhelpful thought patterns and replace them with more balanced, constructive perspectives. My work with CBT began early in my clinical training and has been an essential part of my therapeutic toolkit ever since. In practice, I use CBT to help clients make meaningful changes in both their mindset and daily behaviors. This often includes teaching clients practical coping strategies, guiding them through thought reframing exercises, and supporting them in setting realistic, achievable goals. I tailor CBT techniques to each individual—whether that means working on managing anxiety, easing depression, improving self-esteem, or navigating difficult life transitions. Because CBT is collaborative, I work side-by-side with clients, helping them not only to better understand their patterns but also to practice new skills in real-life situations. Over time, clients build confidence in their ability to manage challenges, giving them both immediate relief and long-term tools they can continue to use after therapy ends.
