Often, we all go through difficult times. Times of despair, painful circumstances, and distress; Situations that many times affect our peace of mind and our relationships with ourselves and others. Sometimes, we even question the purpose of our lives because we feel like there is no purpose for what we are going through. As a caring clinician, I allow and encouraged my client to create a space for healing, where they feel in control of choosing their own path to freedom and sense of control.

Hey there! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker that practices Behaviorism. What that means is that we will work together to target behaviors that can help you improve your current mental state. I want to help you see quantifiable progress from our work together. A little about me: My name is Suzanne. I’m a person that loves the sun, being by water and dogs! In my free time I volunteer with a Great Dane rescue. I enjoy those huge, goofy, couch potato dogs. I’ve moved around a lot and went to school at Syracuse University and graduate school in Washington D.C. I have two decades of experience specializing in trauma, grief, relationship issues, anxiety, addiction and depression. I’ve been heavily involved in working with military, veterans and first responders. You are the subject matter expert in what you need and I will supply tools, support, information and backing. Hello! I am so glad that you are here. I have over 12 years of clinical work experience and experience working with a variety of populations. After completing an undergraduate degree in Social Work, I completed my Masters of Social Work at the University of Maryland School of Social Work in 2013. I have also completed a post graduate certificate in Childhood trauma. At this time, my primary practice areas are anxiety and panic disorders, depression, phase of life and relationship issues, women’s issues, grief, perinatal mental health and LGBTQ issues. I work with individuals of all genders over the age of 16. However, I am most passionate about working with women and the LGBTQ population. If you can not find a time that works with your schedule, please reach out to me, as I may have more availability than shown. NOTE: I prefer to schedule a consultation prior to the intake, in order to determine whether we are a good fit for each other. Occasionally, there are situations in which it is determined during the intake that we are not the right fit.

It sounds like you're describing feelings that can be incredibly tough to deal with. Experiencing sadness, low energy, negative thoughts, and isolation can be overwhelming. When physical symptoms like shaking, increased heart rate, or tightness in the chest appear, they can amplify feelings of embarrassment and shame, making it even harder to cope. I want you to know that you're not alone in feeling this way, and it's okay to seek help. Together, we can explore the underlying causes of these emotions and work towards finding ways to regain your interest in the activities you once enjoyed.

Are you feeling a little “off” lately? Down, anxious or unsure what comes next in life, especially after the last year or so? Or it could be you just don’t feel like yourself and you’re not sure why. You are not alone. To have problems means that you are human; but there is hope. I provide a warm, accepting space for people to explore what matters to them and what’s getting in their way. I help clients learn to feel more comfortable with their emotions, to experiment with different ways of relating to their thoughts and feelings, to cultivate resilience, and to develop the self-trust and self-compassion that will support them along their paths. Therapy provides you with a place to work on and work out your concerns, to be heard and reflect, and to take some space for yourself. Together, we will explore the underlying reasons for your troubles, what it might mean for you to “feel better” and begin to live a more productive, meaningful and engaged life. I use an integrative approach consisting of cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy and mindfulness-based interventions.

Hello, I'm Dr. Ebonee. Do you feel pulled in a million directions, struggling to keep up with relationships, work, and health? Is it hard to be kind to yourself? I help individuals manage anxiety, avoid burnout, and break free from cycles of trauma, stress, and self-doubt. Together, we can identify what’s not working and get you back to balance. My interest in spirituality, which is not tied to any specific religion, allows me to offer a holistic approach to healing that addresses the emotional, psychological, and spiritual dimensions of well-being. I emphasize trauma’s role in shaping core beliefs, psychosocial stressors, and generational patterns, recognizing its imprint on the central nervous system. My approach integrates cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), coaching, and positive psychology to reframe trauma narratives, foster self-discovery, and disrupt patterns of depression, anxiety, and re-traumatization. Whether you're navigating trauma, relationship challenges, or cycles of stress and overwhelm, I provide a safe space where healing begins. I know it may seem impossible, but what if I told you that you have the power to change your life? Now is the perfect time to start your healing journey. In our sessions, I’ll meet you with compassion and evidence-based techniques to help you overcome the hangups and habits holding you back. Let’s work together to build communication strategies, set boundaries, break cyclical trauma patterns, and foster self-worth for long-term stability. I’m excited to be on this journey with you! Here's a helpful video that explains the therapeutic process and what you can expect during your healing journey. https://youtu.be/R4B9BPBiIHo?si=HGNawKl7l1gVUv-z

Welcome! I am Logan. I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW-C) with over 10 years of experience providing therapy. Many of us yearn for a sense of peace, connection, and well-being in our lives. However, life circumstances and internal struggles can often hinder our ability to experience these deeply fulfilling states. I believe in creating a safe and non-judgmental space where you can explore your challenges and emotional pain. My goal is to support your growth and healing journey, empowering you to cultivate greater self-awareness, develop effective coping mechanisms, and live a more fulfilling life. Outside of my practice, I enjoy spending time with my family (two teenagers and three dogs), practicing Pilates, and cheering on the Celtics. I am licensed in Maryland, DC, Virginia, Minnesota and Ohio.

I completed my undergraduate degree in Social Work from McDaniel, my master's in social work from UMB, and am a board approved supervisor with experience in leadership positions including field intern supervising with UMB. My experience includes mood disorders, perinatal mood disorders, relationship issues, substance abuse, anxiety and adjustment concerns. Together, we can work to confront defense mechanisms and cognitive distortions that are contributing to your present concerns. I am a psychotherapist who works with a diverse population of people. My goal is to collaborate with individuals to assist them in achieving their therapy goal(S). My treatment modalities are cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, and Ericksonian hypnotherapy approaches. Although I used these modalities, I do not use a one size fits all approach. I am a think-out-of-the-box clinician that will often challenge clients to try approaches that may be out of their comfort zone. Some examples of my experience include working with individual clients on developing skills in coping with mental health conditions/diagnosis, life stress, finding balance, and improving self-esteem. Although I use these approaches, my clients tell me it feels like we are having a conversation as opposed to feeling like they are in a therapy session. I have a specialization in working with Veterans, LGBTQI, men, and people of color populations. However, I work with all people who are seeking mental health services. I am licensed in DC (LICSW), VA (LCSW), MD (LCSW-C), and PA (LCSW). I have BS in Human Ecology, BA in Humanities from The Ohio State University, MSW from San Jose State University and Post Masters fellowship in mental health from Stanford University.

First of all, I love what I do and to witness the positive changes clients make in their lives as a result of choosing therapy to help them accomplish what they want. Often the goal is to achieve symptom relief so as to not be overwhelmed by anxiety, mood disorders or be better able to manage the challenges of ADHD. Sometimes there is not a specific outcome identified but a need for ongoing support for dealing with life transitions or difficult people. Sometimes clients use therapy as a confidential sounding board where they can talk to an objective outsider about situations and sort out their perception of situations. I offer various ways to see and respond to situations that might otherwise not be considered. Your opinion as a client is the most important one and I will also honestly provide mine when asked for. I believe therapy can actually be something that you can look forward to and an opportunity to learn new skills to use long after you discontinue, and we can even have some fun and laughs along the journey.
