Hi, I’m Peter Curts.
I’m a therapist who believes that healing happens best in the context of safety, connection, and a bit of curiosity. I bring a steady, compassionate presence to the room—and just enough humor and realness to make things feel human. I use approaches like EMDR, IFS, and EFT to help people untangle old pain, reconnect with themselves, and create meaningful change that lasts.
I have a Doctorate in Psychology and am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). I have been working as a therapist for over 16 years. I specialize in mood disorders, anxiety, trauma and LGBTQIA issues. I believe that therapy should be a safe place to talk about personal issues without any judgment. We all need someone to talk to and therapy provides that space where you can be yourself. We all go through some things from time to time and should be able allowed to talk with someone who is willing to listen and provide us with the support that we need.
Hello! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Indiana. I earned my Master’s degree from Indiana University Northwest and have been practicing for 7 years. My experience includes working with anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, grief, relationship concerns, anger, low self-esteem, body image, and major life changes.
I believe in treating the whole person because so much of our mental health is connected to what is happening in our everyday lives. Relationships, family, career, finances, parenting, health, and even spirituality can all impact how we feel and function.
My approach is compassionate, mindfulness-based, and solution-focused. I want therapy to be a space where you feel heard, understood, and comfortable being yourself. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, work through what may be holding you back, and create meaningful changes that help you feel more balanced, fulfilled, and confident in your life.

Hello! I have been in the field since my first graduate degree in 1998. I have vast experience with humans suffering from all sorts of mental health needs and I also have life experiences which translate into a genuine, real understanding and desire to help others. I enjoy partnering to set goals, engage in therapeutic work, and watch the growth and healing occur. I believe that education is extremely valuable and have two other graduate degrees as well. Looking for coping skills to manage frequent daily stressors, sexual abuse trauma, depression or anxiety? I've been a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) for 23 years and have had a variety of different roles in the behavioral health field. I believe my personal and employment experiences over the years help to inform the way I am with clients.
While I work with adult individuals only at this time, I'm skilled in relationship dynamics and work a lot with individuals who are also involved in therapy with their spouse or significant other. Sometimes individual therapy is required to address personal issues which impact the relationship.
Reaching out for help or trying therapy for the first time can be stressful for some due to past trauma, fear of vulnerability, trust issues, the unknown, etc. If you've made it this far, I'm glad you're pushing through the uncomfortableness in hopes of finding new skills or techniques to help improve your current situation.
I'm an LGBTQIA+ affirming, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive therapist.
**I'm licensed in IL, MI, IN, and NM.**

I assume the role as a helper and thoroughly enjoy the role of teaching within the therapeutic alliance. My background includes working in correctional mental health care and in higher education. I am excited to work with you as a client to achieve the goals you have for yourself in this journey. Recently, I have renewed my love of just reading for fun with no expectations and if free-time came more frequently, I would be reading a new book each week.

I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 10 years of field experience. I specialize in clients with depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship issues but have worked with clients with numerous mental health and life struggles including parenting issues, bipolar, self-harm, grief/loss, and much more.
I know starting therapy can feel scary and overwhelming so I strive to provide a warm, welcoming therapeutic environment. A strong relationship is the most important thing to me during the therapeutic process. Once that is established then we can focus on the work that needs to be done.
Do you struggle with self compassion or allowing yourself to feel emotions? I empower individuals to better understand their emotions and treat themselves with patience and kindness.
Together we can work on identifying barriers that make it difficult to sit with your emotions and observe them without judgment. I will be utilizing DBT and mindfulness to help you increase self esteem and gain new skills to manage stress.
What is most important for you to address in therapy? Let’s have a session to discuss your treatment goals and begin working on these! I am excited to speak with you.

I provide a safe and empowering space for individuals navigating trauma, identity wounds, life transitions, and relational patterns that no longer serve them. Trust the process.
Hola! I’m a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with more than a decade of experience in mental health, behavioral health, and non-profit work. I grew up in Los Angeles, completed my Master of Social Work at Fordham University in the Bronx, and now call Ocala, Florida home.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals and families across the lifespan, each with their own unique stories and needs. My work is guided by an integrative approach, meaning I draw from a variety of therapeutic methods to find what fits best for you. I’ve worked extensively with family systems, intergenerational trauma, parents and children facing behavioral challenges, neurodivergent individuals, women navigating life transitions, and people seeking to better understand themselves and the patterns that may be causing distress, mood difficulties, anxiety, or OCD.
Some of my specialties include helping young adults transition into life after high school, supporting parents and partners as they navigate family life, and walking alongside Latina women who are balancing relationships, cultural expectations, independence, and self-care.
I believe deeply that every person’s journey is unique. That’s why I focus on meeting you exactly where you are, empowering you to uncover strengths, solutions, and coping strategies that work for your life. While I am trained in CBT and DBT, I see these as tools within a broader, collaborative process. At the heart of my practice is client-centered care — because there is no single path to healing that fits everyone. Together, we’ll create a treatment plan that honors your voice, builds on your resilience, and empowers you to move toward the life you want to live.
If you are tired of processing and want to make real life changes, I am the Therapist for you. I am direct, insightful and compassionate. I have sat where you sit today and I know what kind of Therapist I do not want to be. I strive to be down-to-Earth and adjust my approach based on what the client is looking for.
I have been working with children, adolescents, adults and families for 25 years. I love helping people see their own potential in challenging times. I provide compassion, understanding and tools that help people reach the best version of themselves. I have both personal and professional experience that can guide anyone in the direction they want. I want you to feel heard and understood. Life can be difficult with situations that are out of your control, but I want to help you gain more control in your thinking and behavior choices.

Greetings! I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor based in Indiana and a graduate of Indiana University Bloomington with 8 years of experience working with folks of all ages going through big life changes and transitions. I am a existential-humanistic counselor, meaning that I am here to support my clients as they navigate a world that for lots of people can be alienating, isolating and dehumanizing. It is my hope that through meaningful connection is it possible to gain resilience and experience liberation from patterns that no longer serve us.
Jennifer is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Indiana and Florida. She has over 17 years of post graduate experience and has worked in a variety of settings such as inpatient, outpatient, private practice, school and correctional settings. Jennifer works with adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, addiction, anger, stress, relationship challenges, life transitions, parenting struggles and women's health concerns. She also has specialized training in Maternal Mental Health (Perinatal Mental Health, pre or postpartum depression, anxiety, OCD or for Maternal wellness and support).
Whether you are navigating obstacles or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, therapy can be a place to reconnect with what gives your life meaning. Jennifer believes every individual has the capacity for growth, resilience, and meaningful change when given the right support. Healing is not about becoming someone new—it is about reconnecting with the person you are beneath life's challenges. It is easy to lose touch with yourself while carrying the weight of stress, painful experiences, or life's many demands. Together, you will explore the challenges you are facing, honor your unique story and the choices available to you in the present. Rather than trying to eliminate every uncomfortable thought or emotion, we will make room for the full range of your human experience while exploring how you can respond in ways that align with your values, purpose and hopes for the future. Healing is not about avoiding suffering or having all the answers. It is about developing the courage to face life's uncertainties, embrace your freedom to choose your path and cultivate a life that feels authentic, connected, and meaningful.
If persistent avoidance or fear is holding you back, I can help. I’m Tara, a therapist with special expertise in helping clients process trauma and make breakthroughs in life. I’m a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional with experience working with veterans, ex-foster kids, and other survivors with PTSD and its associated symptoms. No matter how small your trauma might seem, if it affected you, it’s worth exploring. I use Exposure Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy to help my clients embrace all the possibilities that trauma has been denying them.
I earned a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I am a DBT Therapist with training in art and trauma therapies as well. I have worked in a variety of settings, including inpatient and residential treatment, probation, and family focus/supervised and therapeutic visitation. I began my first field internship at just 16 years old.

Hello, my name is Ronak Makadia, and I am a licensed clinical psychologist (Psy.D.) with additional training in social work (MSW). As a second-generation, Asian American I quickly learned the stigma and shame attached to attending therapy, especially within the Asian American community. As a cis-gender woman of color, I value and will provide culturally competent services.
Please note that I only accept adults and older adults who are high-functioning but need support to overcome barriers. Due to the nature of my private practice, I am unable to accept clients who are seeking treatment for trauma, substance use or severe mental illness.
I work alongside patients to overcome any barriers they may be facing. I will always encourage you to create, learn, and consistently use healthy coping mechanisms. To avoid staying stuck, I collaborate with you in developing solutions to aid you in moving forward in your life. We all get stuck sometimes and I am here to help. Therapy does not have to be a painful experience and I will be here to guide you toward improvement in a welcoming, affirmative environment.
I support the movement to destigmatize therapy and make mental health care accessible for all. I will continue to support this mission and provide quality counseling. Talk to me about scheduling a first appointment if you are interested in working together.
I look forward to working with you!

I work at a community mental health agency full-time working with adults with severe mental illnesses and also have experience working with individuals with intellectual/ developmental disabilities as well. I am open to working with all populations but my preferred population would have to be people who are trying to figure out who they are and what their purpose is, people dealing with life changes and trying to cope effectively, and people who just need help getting through the day to day stressors with some support. Whatever your issue may be, I am up for the challenge and hope I can help to make things better for you!

I am an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) with experience in working with adults and children from in-patient as well as out-patient settings. I have worked with teenagers and young children for over 12 years. I specialize in working with children with trauma, anxiety, and depression.
I have a heart for working with kids and teens with traumatic experiences. My passion began while I was still in high school and wanted to be a teacher. I worked in various daycare facilities as well as having my own in-home daycare and decided I wanted to help kids (and adults) in a more in-depth manner. That is when I began my journey into social work and found my true calling in life.
I have experience working with children and adolescents who have been through, or are currently in, the child welfare system as well as working with older teens with substance abuse/misuse issues.
