I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC) with experience in working with a variety of issues including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, trauma, child abuse/neglect, ADHD, conduct disorder, behavioral disorders, personality disorders, and adjustment disorders. I work with children, adolescents, teens, adults, families, and couples. My areas of expertise include behavioral issues, family cohesion, crisis and trauma, adjustment, and parenting/co-parenting. I have extensive experience working with families involved with child abuse and neglect and is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT). I am also certified in Nurturing Parenting and is passionate about helping parents navigate the challenges of parenting and co-parenting. I utilize a Cognitive-Behavior Therapy (CBT) approach, but also incorporate additional approaches such as mindfulness, play therapy, expressive arts, and other techniques as applicable to the client's need. I am committed to providing a safe non-judgmental space in which clients feel validated and comfortable. I earned my MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Purdue University Northwest which incorporated expressive arts training as well.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
I am passionate in assisting neurodivergent patients become comfortable with themselves as well as understand and manage their neurodiversity. I have been trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to challenge negative thoughts, cognitive distortions, anxiety and depression.
