I'm Seth Gruenwald, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the founder of Yes and Therapy, PLLC. I work with adults, couples, and families that feel stuck in patterns that no longer serve them — in relationships, in anxious thinking, or in ways of coping that have run their course. My style is direct and collaborative, with a practical focus: I'll name what I'm noticing, and I expect us to build something useful together rather than just talk in circles. My clinical background spans child trauma work, family therapy, and years treating addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders, so I bring real range along with genuine curiosity about your particular story.
Do you find yourself feeling overwhelmed or like you just can't get everything done? Do you often wonder how everyone else seems to do it but you can't? Like you are letting people down or you are not enough? Do you struggle to find joy in everyday life or find it difficult to shut down the racing thoughts and enjoy the moment? If so, you have come to the right place.

I take a laid back approach as I believe in meeting my clients where they are and working at a pace that is comfortable for them. Do you feel stuck in a pattern that is negatively impacting your overall wellness?
Just as important as the "why" is the "what" aspect of the mind. What we think, what we feel and what we believe are all intertwined with our behavior. Exploring the thoughts and beliefs that underpin certain actions can lead to profound self-awareness and personal growth. In my interactions with clients, I have witnessed the transformative power of uncovering and challenging deep-seated beliefs that no longer serve them.
While patterns and commonalities may emerge among individuals, it is crucial to remember that each person's mind is a unique landscape. What works for one may not work for another, and it is my duty as a clinician to adapt the plan of care accordingly. As a therapist and health coach, I incorporate a holistic (mind/body) approach.

Hi, I'm Jackie.
One question stays with me before every session:
If I were sitting where my client is sitting, what would help me feel safe enough to come back?
That question shapes how I show up as a therapist.
Therapy changed my life because it gave me something I didn't know I was missing, a place where I didn't have to perform, explain, or earn my worth. That's the kind of space I hope to create for every person I work with.
I don't believe people are broken.
I believe people adapt.
One quote has stayed with me for years because it captures that idea better than I ever could:
"I lived in a glass house into which my mother could look at any time. In a glass house, however, you cannot conceal anything without giving yourself away, except by hiding it under the ground. And then you cannot see it yourself, either."
I think many of us grow up in our own version of a glass house. Maybe you became the responsible one, the peacemaker, the perfectionist, or the person who learned to stay quiet. Those weren't flaws, they were ways of surviving.
The challenge is that what helped us survive then doesn't always help us live now.
That's where therapy begins.
Together, we'll become curious about the patterns you've been living, not because I want to fix you, but because I want you to understand yourself.
My approach integrates attachment theory, parts work, CBT, DBT, and nervous system regulation because healing isn't about treating isolated symptoms. It's about making sense of your story so you can trust yourself, build healthier relationships, and create a life that feels more like your own.
I believe therapy should feel calm, respectful, and genuinely supportive. I create a space where people can slow down, speak openly, and feel heard without judgment or pressure. My approach is warm, grounded, and collaborative, allowing clients to explore their experiences at a pace that feels comfortable while still working toward meaningful change.
Many people come to therapy carrying stress, anxiety, relationship challenges, or past experiences while continuing to manage daily responsibilities. I enjoy helping people make sense of what they are going through, build insight, and reconnect with their strengths. Conversations are honest and thoughtful, with a focus on understanding the whole person rather than just one concern.
My goal is to offer steady guidance while respecting each client’s individuality, goals, and values. Therapy becomes a space to reflect, gain clarity, heal, and begin moving forward with greater confidence and emotional balance.
I have worked with children and adults, facilitating individual and group therapeutic sessions. Building from over 15 years of experience working as a social worker in various settings, including but not limited to, domestic violence shelters, social service agencies and departments of children and family services. I have worked with court ordered clients. Clients that seek services voluntary are also welcome.

As a mental health professional for over twenty-five years, I am dedicated to helping clients explore options and strategies so that they may live a healthier and happier life. I provide compassionate care and counseling to individuals in Illinois, Missouri and Florida via Telehealth. I possess a Master’s Degree in Social Work specializing in Mental Health and Addictions. I also have completed a Master of Business Administration Degree focused on Healthcare Management. I am a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and enjoy spending time with my family, fishing, camping and traveling.
I have extensive experience in Leadership and Direct Care positions within Inpatient and Outpatient Behavioral Health and Substance Abuse Recovery and Rehabilitation facilities. As a result of those experiences, I witnessed and truly believe mental health and addiction recovery is possible. As we each experience our life’s journey, the good, bad, and ugly, we continue to learn and grow along the way. Many journeys will include troubled times resulting in anxiety, mood disorders, grief, loss, parenting difficulties, relationship issues, addictions and other challenges along the way. But most will also include exciting and positive times such as graduations, college, marriage, career advancements, births, relocations, new homes, new friends, and many more. Although positive, adjustment to these experiences may also result in a need for support during the transition.
As a Social Worker, my approach will focus on the whole individual to identify other factors contributing to the current problem. This will include past and current relationships, health issues, work, living and social environments.
My goal is to help clients find hope, joy and peace. They will achieve this by learning to view problems differently and using healthy coping skills to make changes and adjust to a new normal.

My name is Miguel Lopez, a Hispanic male (He/Him/His) and U.S. Army combat veteran who brings a unique perspective to my work as a therapist. Fluent in Spanish and passionate about guiding people through life’s challenges, I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Walden University, a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice from Colorado Technical University, and an Associate’s in Criminal Justice from Pikes Peak State College. With over a decade of experience as a caseworker, substance abuse counselor, and therapist, I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse clients facing real-life struggles and in need of daily support.
Life can be tough, and we all face difficult moments—whether it’s a breakup, divorce, grief, the loss of a loved one or pet, or even a job loss. In these times, having an unbiased person to offer support can make a world of difference. I see trauma as an unexpected part of life that is often hard to process, but with the right help, it can be managed and overcome healthily. I’ve personally experienced more than my share of trauma, grief, loss, sadness, depression, and substance use, and I sought help to work through them.
My approach to therapy is centered on helping people in the best way possible, always with an open mind. I often use Maslow’s hierarchy of needs as a guide, because I believe mental health is hard to prioritize when physical needs aren’t met, or issues like homelessness or substance abuse are present. I enjoy working with clients from age 5 to older adults who face Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, PTSD, Mood Disorders, Personality Disorders, and other mental health or substance use challenges. It’s easy to fight battles alone and suffer in silence, but you don’t have to anymore—together, we can work toward healing and a better future.

Entering the world of personal psychotherapy can be an exciting, yet a foreboding area, if you've not had that opportunity previously, I believe that my first goal is to be welcoming to each and every person. Over some weeks, we will explore your inner pursuits which will help you feel more comfortable in who you are and who you desire to be. For me personally, being alongside you, is a privilege that few people get to have, so I treat it as a sacred opportunity. Helping individuals reach their potential or heal a broken heart is an enormous responsibility, but also one a therapist will approach with care and encouragement.
I work with individuals, children and families and offer both long and short-term counseling. My approach is calm & thoughtful, but interactive. I enjoy utilizing a variety of therapy techniques so that each of my clients has a plan that is individualized to their goals. As a child, I always wanted to pursue a career where I could assist with an individual’s growth, creativity and happiness. I learned at a young age the struggles that life can bring, not only through the inevitable, but also through situational traumas that we at times have to face and endure. Being an active member in the clinical field of helping professionals, I have certainly learned the importance of patience, empathy and peace. Identifying and securing ones’ purpose in life, creates the true masterpiece of one’s story. My goal is to assist you in your journey to self-actualization.

I am a social worker with 25 years of experience supporting clients across the lifespan — from infants and their caregivers to older adults navigating later‑life challenges. My work is grounded in the belief that our thoughts are powerful drivers of our emotions and behaviors. When we learn to understand and reshape those thoughts, meaningful and lasting change becomes possible.
Using Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), I help clients harness the power of their thinking to influence how they feel and act in everyday situations. Many people have been taught to “just change their behavior,” and when that doesn’t work, they blame themselves. I guide clients toward a different approach — one that starts with the mind, not with willpower.
In our sessions, I use analogies, real‑life examples, and practical tools that clients can immediately apply. My goal is for every session to end with one new tool for their toolbox, something concrete they can practice between sessions. And while the work is meaningful, I believe it can also be engaging — even fun — as clients begin to see themselves and the world through a new, more empowering lens.
Hello! I’m a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) based in Illinois. I have worked in the mental health field for seventeen years in both hospital and outpatient settings. This experience includes work in direct patient care, program development, and in hospital administration in a clinical director role.
I also have taught coursework in psychology and human development in a university setting, and worked in an administrative capacity in secondary education in the state of Illinois. My educational background includes a Masters in Clinical Psychology and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. My clinical approach brings behavioral intervention and education together in a clinical setting. I enjoy using psychoeducation as a foundation for treatment. That means I like to focus on educating the patient on their symptoms/diagnosis so we can collaborate on a treatment plan that they understand and makes sense for their life circumstance. If people understand why they experience the symptoms they have and how their body responds to stressors; it can give them the insight necessary to build skills to cope in a healthy and effective way.

These experiences have deepened my belief that healing happens best in spaces where people feel seen, respected, and safe enough to be honest. I strive to create a therapy space that feels grounded, collaborative, and human, while providing a supportive space for women navigating anxiety, stress, burnout, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm.
My approach is rooted in CBT and mindfulness-informed practices, helping clients better understand patterns in their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while building healthier coping tools and greater self-awareness. Outside of therapy, I enjoy pottery, mindfulness practices, and finding small ways to slow down and stay present throughout the day. I believe healing often happens in the little moments where we learn to reconnect with ourselves with more compassion and intention.
