My name is Miguel Lopez, a Hispanic male (He/Him/His) and U.S. Army combat veteran who brings a unique perspective to my work as a therapist. Fluent in Spanish and passionate about guiding people through life’s challenges, I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Walden University, a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice from Colorado Technical University, and an Associate’s in Criminal Justice from Pikes Peak State College. With over a decade of experience as a caseworker, substance abuse counselor, and therapist, I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse clients facing real-life struggles and in need of daily support.
Life can be tough, and we all face difficult moments—whether it’s a breakup, divorce, grief, the loss of a loved one or pet, or even a job loss. In these times, having an unbiased person to offer support can make a world of difference. I see trauma as an unexpected part of life that is often hard to process, but with the right help, it can be managed and overcome healthily. I’ve personally experienced more than my share of trauma, grief, loss, sadness, depression, and substance use, and I sought help to work through them.
My approach to therapy is centered on helping people in the best way possible, always with an open mind. I often use Maslow’s hierarchy of needs as a guide, because I believe mental health is hard to prioritize when physical needs aren’t met, or issues like homelessness or substance abuse are present. I enjoy working with clients from age 5 to older adults who face Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, PTSD, Mood Disorders, Personality Disorders, and other mental health or substance use challenges. It’s easy to fight battles alone and suffer in silence, but you don’t have to anymore—together, we can work toward healing and a better future.
My name is Melissa Chovan, and I have been in private practice since 2014, first in Illinois and since 2019 in Alabama. Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals facing a wide range of mental health challenges, with a particular focus on trauma-informed care and trauma treatment. My goal is to provide a supportive, compassionate, and culturally sensitive environment where clients feel safe to explore their experiences, develop healthy coping skills, and work toward meaningful healing and personal growth.
So you survived a pandemic, losses and uncertainty? Resilience is within you. My name is Dr. Erica, I am a psychotherapist and professor in the Chicago and Northwest Indiana area. I believe that we all possess abilities within us that can help us overcome the most difficult of times. Let us work together to use that same resilience to overcome other life stressors, be it anxiety, depression or relationship problems.
I provide virtual sessions that allow you to sit in the comfort of your home while we explore possibilities to relieving the stress or discomfort you are experiencing. Empathy, openness and being nonjudgmental are some things that I hold dear to my practice.
If you are tired of struggling in silence and feel like enough is enough, reach out today and let us work together to find possible solutions to the problem.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than thirty years of experience supporting individuals and families across schools, hospitals, substance use programs, homeless shelters, and community mental health settings. I’ve also supervised master’s‑level clinicians as they developed their skills and professional identities. I approach therapy with curiosity, openness, and deep respect for each person’s story. My work is compassionate and individualized, honoring both psychological insight and the spiritual depth many people bring to their healing. Together, we create a space where growth feels grounded, meaningful, and genuinely your own.
I provide individually tailored treatment in a safe and supportive environment that draws and builds upon each person's strengths, resources, wisdom and goals. My style is collaborative, warm and interactive. I enjoy working with a range of clients from children to adults. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, healing from trauma, major life transitions, grief & loss, identity development, self-esteem difficulties, coping with medical health issues and illnesses, dual diagnosis (substance abuse and co-occurring psychiatric disorders), mindful living, and cultivating self-compassion.
Using a strength-based approach, I help clients realize their inner strength to make desired life changes. I believe strongly that people can make those changes and create the life they want. I believe it's important in the therapeutic process to establish a relationship of trust, acceptance and empathy.
In keeping with the belief that mental and emotional health is as vital as physical health to overall well-being, I am committed to making services available conveniently and comfortably. Appointments can be scheduled seven days a week with early morning and late evening availability.

Hello! I’m a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) based in Illinois. I have worked in the mental health field for seventeen years in both hospital and outpatient settings. This experience includes work in direct patient care, program development, and in hospital administration in a clinical director role.
I also have taught coursework in psychology and human development in a university setting, and worked in an administrative capacity in secondary education in the state of Illinois. My educational background includes a Masters in Clinical Psychology and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. My clinical approach brings behavioral intervention and education together in a clinical setting. I enjoy using psychoeducation as a foundation for treatment. That means I like to focus on educating the patient on their symptoms/diagnosis so we can collaborate on a treatment plan that they understand and makes sense for their life circumstance. If people understand why they experience the symptoms they have and how their body responds to stressors; it can give them the insight necessary to build skills to cope in a healthy and effective way.

You've been strong for everyone else. You don't have to do it alone anymore.
You're the person everyone depends on. You take care of your family, meet deadlines, support others, and keep everything moving—even when you're running on empty. On the outside, you seem like you're holding it together. Inside, you may feel anxious, overwhelmed, burned out, emotionally exhausted, or disconnected from the person you used to be. You don't have to keep carrying it all by yourself.
I'm Sarah Langlois, LCSW, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Air Force Veteran. Many of my clients are high-achieving, compassionate people who have spent so much time caring for others that they've forgotten how to care for themselves.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and evidence-based. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and strengths-based techniques, we'll work together to understand what's keeping you stuck, develop practical coping skills, heal from painful experiences, and create meaningful, lasting change.
Whether you're struggling with racing thoughts, feeling emotionally drained, navigating a difficult life transition, or simply longing to feel like yourself again, therapy can help. My goal is to provide a space where you feel understood, supported, and empowered to build a calmer, healthier, and more fulfilling life.
You deserve more than just getting through each day. When you're ready, I'm here to help you take the next step toward healing and becoming the version of yourself you've been missing.
I have several years of experience treating individuals, families, and adolescents using a holistic, empathic, and trauma-informed approach. Watching friends and family struggle with mental health and substance abuse issues fueled my passion for helping those who struggle with these difficulties from a place of understanding, patience, and empathy. I received a BA in psychology first, which led to obtaining a substance abuse certificate. I gained experience working with families and individuals and, after some time, I was ready to further my education and obtained a Master of Social Work. This helped me expand my clinical skills and learn more targeted therapy modalities, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, DBT, psychoanalytical care, and art therapy. I found these approaches are a great synthesis of neuroscience, trauma, and creativity.
