I am a compassionate and trauma-informed therapist specializing in supporting women who face challenges with self-esteem, emotional overwhelm, and the pressures of daily life. My approach is collaborative and strength-based, creating a safe space where clients can reconnect with their authentic selves. Together, we work to quiet the inner critic, foster self-compassion, and build practical coping skills that empower emotional resilience. I’m dedicated to guiding clients through life’s transitions with clarity and courage, blending evidence-based techniques with empathy to help create lasting, meaningful change. I also have over 15 years of experience helping high school students as a school counselor. I have certifications in School Counseling Leadership, Anxiety & Stress Management, and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. I'm fully licensed mental health therapist in the States of Illinois and Missouri.
In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and create a safe, supportive space for you. I’ll ask about what brings you to therapy, your current challenges, and what you hope to achieve. Together, we’ll explore your story and begin identifying patterns or areas you want to focus on. This session is also a chance for you to ask any questions about the therapy process, and for us to decide if we’re a good fit. My goal is to help you feel heard, understood, and hopeful about the path ahead.
Compassionate Empowering Warm Collaborative Non-judgmental Supportive Grounded Insightful Strength-based Trauma-informed
I work best with women who often feel overwhelmed by the pressure to be everything to everyone. They may struggle with self-doubt, perfectionism, and a critical inner voice that holds them back. My ideal clients are ready to explore these patterns and develop healthier ways of coping with stress, build stronger self-esteem, and reconnect with their authentic selves. Whether they are navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, or just the everyday demands of work and family, they are motivated to grow and committed to making meaningful changes in their lives.
Other specialties
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Together, we will focus on how your thoughts affect your emotions and behaviors. We’ll explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck—and develop tools to shift those patterns in ways that feel more supportive and empowering. If you are open to "homework," I love to provide resources to work on in between sessions. If you do not have time for this, don't worry, we will do a lot of work within your sessions.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients build emotional resilience, manage intense feelings, and navigate relationships more effectively. DBT offers practical skills for handling distress, staying grounded in the present moment, setting boundaries, and balancing self-acceptance with growth. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, emotionally reactive, or stuck in cycles that aren’t serving you, DBT gives us tools to shift that.

I am getting the sought after skills that I identified as a need in my first session actively during each visit. I appreciate the reflection and identification that Jessica helps facilitate with whatever I bring to the table. Outside of the key practice of talk therapy and laying out your feelings directly, I am able to make sense of emotions with Jessica and then come up with manageable approaches to continue surving myself in the real world.

Jessica has been the best. She understands all of my thoughts authentically and tries to reframe them in a way that will help me. She encourages growth from me in all ways and challenges me to become a better person. I think Jessica would be amazing for a woman who is trying to find her way to be happy in all areas of life.

Jessica was easy to talk to immediately. She appears to be organized and direct in a warm way. I look forward to moving forward with her.
