New to Grow
I am Konadu (Koonaydue), a licensed clinical psychologist and stigma reduction researcher with a PhD and 8+ years of experience. I use CBT to support people with mood and anxiety disorders, including elite athletes and performers. I work with a person-centered approach and know that our minds and bodies both affect how we move in the world. I hope my warm, collaborative style helps clients feel understood, build insight, and create lasting, meaningful change.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, we’ll clarify what’s bringing you in and identify specific thoughts, emotions, and behaviors connected to your concerns. I’ll ask focused questions to understand patterns and goals, and we’ll begin building a practical plan. You can expect a collaborative, structured conversation that helps you leave with insight, direction, and small, actionable steps to start change.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My strengths include structured, goal-oriented CBT, practical tools for immediate relief, and a warm, collaborative style that empowers lasting, measurable change.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I’m best positioned to serve thoughtful, self-aware adults who feel stuck, whether in relationships, career, or patterns that no longer serve them. Many of my ideal clients struggle with anxiety, depression, perfectionism, burnout, or people-pleasing, and want deeper clarity and confidence. They’re motivated for meaningful change, even if they feel overwhelmed right now. If you’re ready to better understand yourself, set healthier boundaries, and build more fulfilling relationships with others and with yourself, we’ll work well together.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
In my clinical practice, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and create practical behavioral changes that support improved mood and overall functioning.
