I am a mental health therapist who is passionate about healing. I believe that health is holistic - mind, body, and spirit. I am passionate about being a safe space for mental and emotional healing, especially for African American and Christian-faith communities who have not, historically, been as open to mental health therapy. I incorporate Christian faith into therapy for clients who desire this.

I continue to strive towards living my best life. I bring this same passion for life into our therapy sessions and consider it an honor to align myself with you and help you towards living your best life.
My first career includes 17 years of retail management. I worked in multiple divisions, environments, and roles within the retail management industry. Most of my experience was in big-box retail environments or corporate offices, so I understand the expectations and stressors of P&L management, marketing, staff performance/recruitment/training & development, shrinkage, O.S.H.A. compliance, and merchandising. I transitioned from the retail management industry to the human services industry in March 2010 after earning my Master’s degree in Human Services, with a specialty in Mental Health Counseling. I recently obtained a doctoral degree in Human and Social Services.
This information is pertinent for adults who need assistance to cope with work-life balance, corporate industry standards, stressful work environments, conflict management with co-workers, and work performance due to compassion fatigue or inappropriate time management.

I work with clients who are struggling with grief, anxiety, depression or trauma. I also work with clients who may need assistance in processing everyday life stressors and want a supportive therapist whom they can confide in who will also challenge them and assist with problem-solving.
I also work with those facing reproductive challenges. As a compassionate and empathetic therapist, I understand the complex emotional and psychological impact that infertility and miscarriage can have. I can:
• Support you in maintaining hope, peace and positivity while navigating uncertainty and help you build resiliency as you work through obstacles.
• Help you to recognize and access your deeper intuition, so you are better equipped to honor your body, spirit and mind with the highest intention throughout your journey.
• Work with you on increasing clarity and purpose around your fertility journey.
• Utilize a holistic approach to address integrative lifestyle strategies that may be beneficial to your fertility path.
• Assist you in addressing relationship difficulties that can arise out of the stress of fertility challenges, help you develop strategies to increase intimacy with your partner and foster healthy communication.
For women and men who have experienced reproductive loss:
• The devastating and seemingly invisible pain of losing a pregnancy is unique in that it involves not only the loss of your baby, but also involves the loss of the future - and there is no accepted way to mark that loss. Sometimes it seems that friends and family members expect the person to move on quickly. Partners often grieve differently - and for men, the trauma of miscarriage is often overlooked. Also, some women may suffer guilt or shame associated with the loss that doesn't tend to occur with other types of grieving.
• There is no universal template for grief. Together, we will address your unique needs as you work through your grieving process.
I view therapy as a way to get in touch with your inner voice and intuition, which can guide you to answers. I am inspired daily through my work with people as they journey toward improving their lives. My goal is to create a safe space where your story will be heard with the utmost compassion. I'm your committed listener, both for where you've been and where you'd like to go. Through years of experience in various mental health treatment environments, I have developed great respect for what it takes to begin—and continue—seeking a path of wellness.
Hi, I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in working with adolescents and young adults navigating life transitions, stress, and emotional challenges. I’m passionate about creating a safe, supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and comfortable being yourself.
My approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), while also incorporating Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) to help you better understand and process your emotions. Together, we’ll work to reframe unhelpful thought patterns, process past experiences, and build practical tools to help you feel more confident, balanced, and in control.
Are you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or constantly on edge? Exhausted from trying to hold everything together? You may be struggling from the effects of anxiety, depression, or trauma. Maybe you're feeling emotionally drained, unmotivated, or simply not feeling like yourself anymore. You may find yourself having difficulty relaxing, withdrawing from the people or things you once enjoyed, constantly overthinking, or worrying about what might go wrong. Anxiety and depression can make even everyday life feel exhausting, and you don't have to figure it all out on your own.
Together, we can work to understand what's contributing to how you're feeling, develop healthier ways of coping, and help you feel more grounded, confident, and in control. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationship difficulties, divorce, coparenting, or work issues, therapy can be a safe place to slow things down, make sense of what you're experiencing, and begin reconnecting with yourself.
I also specialize in helping people who have experienced unhealthy relationships, domestic violence, emotional abuse, narcissistic abuse, and trauma. Sometimes these experiences show up as anxiety, depression, self-doubt, people-pleasing, difficulty trusting yourself or others, or feeling as though you've lost your identity. You do not have to know exactly what to call what you've been through in order to seek support.
My goal is not just to help you get through each day, but to help you reconnect with yourself and create a life where you feel empowered, safe, confident, and like yourself again.
You're not stuck. Healing is possible, and you do not have to go through it alone. I provide a warm, down-to-earth, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel understood, supported, and comfortable being your authentic self. If you're ready to take the next step, I'd be honored to support you on your journey.

Hi! I’m a licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in state of Missouri and Licensed clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in state of Illinois. I received my masters from Chicago School of Professional Psychology and have been practicing for 15 years. I have worked in psychiatric hospital, Court house/jail, and outpatient treatment with all ages 13-90’s. My clients describe me as a compassionate, good communication skills, encouraging and cultural competence.
Hello, I'm Tracey.
"Relationships often die not because of conversations that were had but rather conversations that were never had," (Lysa Terkeurst).
Communication is the #1 most reported reason for couples to enter therapy. It is the "appropriate" way of saying, "he doesn't listen to me," and "all she wants to do is talk and talk, {nag}" or giving each other what I refer to as the "non-verbal abuse" {silent treatment}. It means I don't know my partner, or we can't talk without fighting. Yet almost every couple starts off communicating at some level. I mean, come on--you and your partner would not be a couple if the first date involved playing the "Staring contest" where the first one to blink loses.
What we fail to recognize is that Communication is a form of Intimacy. And all other forms on intimacy hinge on protecting the communicative intimacy. So, what is that and how do I get some before we leave each other?
Communicative intimacy refers to the deep emotional and relational closeness that develops through communication, where individuals feel understood, valued, and connected on a personal level. It is both a feeling and a process shaped by how people interact, listen, and respond to each other. It involves an aligned commitment to taking care of it and protecting it. So, time's a wasting and you both are out of options. You both need to commit to starting this before you commit to ending.
As a mental health professional for over twenty-five years, I am dedicated to helping clients explore options and strategies so that they may live a healthier and happier life. I provide compassionate care and counseling to individuals in Illinois, Missouri and Florida via Telehealth. I possess a Master’s Degree in Social Work specializing in Mental Health and Addictions. I also have completed a Master of Business Administration Degree focused on Healthcare Management. I am a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and enjoy spending time with my family, fishing, camping and traveling.
I have extensive experience in Leadership and Direct Care positions within Inpatient and Outpatient Behavioral Health and Substance Abuse Recovery and Rehabilitation facilities. As a result of those experiences, I witnessed and truly believe mental health and addiction recovery is possible. As we each experience our life’s journey, the good, bad, and ugly, we continue to learn and grow along the way. Many journeys will include troubled times resulting in anxiety, mood disorders, grief, loss, parenting difficulties, relationship issues, addictions and other challenges along the way. But most will also include exciting and positive times such as graduations, college, marriage, career advancements, births, relocations, new homes, new friends, and many more. Although positive, adjustment to these experiences may also result in a need for support during the transition.
As a Social Worker, my approach will focus on the whole individual to identify other factors contributing to the current problem. This will include past and current relationships, health issues, work, living and social environments.
My goal is to help clients find hope, joy and peace. They will achieve this by learning to view problems differently and using healthy coping skills to make changes and adjust to a new normal.

First Session
In our first session, my focus is on getting to knowing you- what brings you to therapy, what you are hoping to gain from our work together, and what may have felt difficult or painful lately. I’ll ask gentle questions to better understand your experiences, your history, your strengths and the goal you have for therapy- where you want your life to be, a month, six months, a year from now. Then we’ll identify options and strategies you can use to get there. You will leave the session with a better understanding of what you are facing and I can help you begin making sense of your experiences, recognizing your strengths, and identifying the next steps toward healing. There is no pressure to share anything you are not ready to discuss. We will begin building a foundation of trust and understanding and develop a collaborative plan for our work together. Most importantly we will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
There are countless methods for healing & moving forward. I provide a judgement free place to find your way & figure it out. Commitment to my clients begins with a belief in the ability of individuals to advocate for themselves & choose their own path. You decide how you want to live your life.

I focus on clients who have experienced relational trauma, childhood, adolescent, and adult anxiety, depression, chronic, complex, intergenerational, and transgenerational trauma, and PTSD. I see counseling as a process in which you, the client, and I, the LCSW-Therapist, having come to understand and trust one another, work as a team to explore and define present problem situations, develop future goals for an improved life, and work systematically toward realizing those goals.

My clients often come to me with concerns such heightened anxiety, depressive symptoms, difficulty coping, negative self talk. I work with a range of clients, from young adulthood, to expectant and new mothers, to individuals who are mid-life and navigating a new season in their lives, and searching for tools to cope.
Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, & though I don’t know you (yet), please know I am proud you’ve taken this step!
Life can become complicated when the strategies that once worked stop working. Whether you're navigating a recent ADHD or AuDHD diagnosis, struggling with burnout, anxiety, depression, or major life changes, it can feel like you're trying to solve a puzzle without all the pieces.
As someone who was diagnosed later in life, I understand both the relief and the disruption that can come from finally having an explanation for lifelong challenges. That experience has shaped my approach to therapy and deepened my appreciation for the resilience people develop while trying to navigate a world that wasn't designed with their needs in mind.
My work is grounded in the belief that every person has a unique nervous system, unique strengths, and unique challenges. Rather than treating a label, I focus on understanding you as a whole person. I draw from established therapy approaches, neuroscience, and our growing understanding of the connection between the brain and body. I also believe that therapy doesn't have to feel cold or clinical. Humor, relatable analogies, and practical tools are often part of our conversations.
I work primarily with adults who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or exhausted from constantly trying to keep up. Many are navigating neurodivergence, life transitions, relationship challenges, or the loss of skills that can accompany chronic stress and burnout. I also provide an affirming space for clients in kink, polyamorous, and other consensual nontraditional relationships.
My goal is to help you better understand yourself, reduce overwhelm, build sustainable strategies, and create a life that feels more authentic and manageable. You don't need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. We can work through it together, one step at a time.
Hi, I’m Morgan. I work with teens and adults who are struggling with anxiety, sadness, anger, ADHD, family or relationship challenges, and low self-worth.
You may feel constantly worried, emotionally overwhelmed, isolated, stuck, or unsure of what to do next. You might recognize unhealthy patterns in your life but have difficulty breaking the cycle. Together, we can better understand what is holding you back, develop practical tools for managing difficult emotions, and create a plan for moving forward.
You do not have to figure everything out alone. When you are ready to take the first step, I would be honored to support you.
