Hello! I started working in mental health outreach attending school full-time while attaining my graduate level courses. I've worked with those with Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, (C)PTSD, Bipolar, Schizophrenia, ADHD, Adjustment Disorders, Family conflict, and also worked with the LGBTQ & Latinx communities. I've met so many wonderful people and knew I wanted to learn and meet more people to try and help guide people as much as I could, so I attained my LCPC to supervise other clinicians and help more in need.
Regardless of how often we meet, be it once a week, once per month, or once in a lifetime, my goal is to create an atmosphere free from external judgment. This will allow you room to develop both clarity and confidence in the decisions you make while you determine the best manner in which to live your life. As you gain greater insight into ongoing challenges, I will provide theory based reflective and directive clinical support. Through this process, you may find your ability to grow and change has a limitless capacity. It's time to experience life on your terms.

Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Illinois and Maine. I have experience working with clients in crisis with severe mental illness to adults experiencing depression and anxiety with chronic complex medical conditions.
Coping with life challenges is not something you have to go through alone. Many people seek therapy for support, information, and new ideas on how to better handle the curve balls that life can throw sometimes. I believe that human beings are incredibly resilient and sometimes need assistance in recognizing their own inner strength to create positive changes in their lives. The therapeutic relationship should be collaborative, built upon both mutual respect and independence, and I hope to empower my clients to find opportunities for personal growth so that they can move forward with their goals.
I have been a great support to those experiencing significant changes in their lives such as new medical diagnosis or crisis events.
Be proud of making this step forward toward your best self.
I look forward to working together!

Relationship strain, toxic habits, and mother wounds often go unprocessed causing a significant amount of stress, overwhelm, and feelings of depression that travels and seeps into other areas of their lives. Are you a woman who has found themselves in the midst of having to navigate unprocessed trauma or grief from having to survive toxic romantic partners or relationships? Have you done an audit on your life and discovered that there are themes driving you to repeat the same habits and cycles? It may be time to explore those pain points and heal those areas to reduce the amount of times you cycle through the same seasons.
I help women by creating a space for them to process their prolonged sadness, feelings of disappointment, grief, loss, depression, overwhelm, shame, and guilt related to unprocessed trauma, boundary issues, and toxic relationships.
I invite you to begin the work of exploring what support looks like for you. My approach to therapy is rooted in evidenced-based skills and practices and empowerment theory to guide people toward feeling gratified, powerful and in control again.

I began training to be a psychotherapist 15 years ago after having worked in publishing for many years. Becoming a Social Worker and helping others has always been a kind of calling for me, but it took a little while for me to arrive at my goal. I hope that that part of my story helps to prove that it is never too late to change or to pursue goals. I continue to integrate the things that I have learned through formal education and through my own experiences of life so that I am best able to help others who are experiencing distress and difficulties with navigating life.
We all need additional support from time-to-time, especially given the complicated, fast-changing world we live in. My goal as a psychotherapist is to be a source of support and assistance as you develop insight into the difficulties you face and as you begin to develop strategies for change. Through interactive-therapy sessions, I help you to understand and clarify life’s challenges and I support you as you begin to make the changes that are needed to make progress towards your goals. I help my clients to discover and explore a positive path in therapy that they can then continue to follow as they pursue their goals and their lives independently.

Greetings,
It has always been my desire to serve and bring out the best in people. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts, my commitment to this work is both personal and professional. Growing up with two parents who struggled with addiction, I experienced anxiety and depression at an early age and made a conscious choice not to become a product of my environment. My lifelong interest in human behavior and emotional functioning led me into this field, where I strive to help clients gain clarity, develop meaningful coping skills, and move toward their desired goals. I work best with individuals who are ready to roll up their sleeves and actively participate in their healing process. You’ve already taken a courageous first step by reaching out; now let’s explore whether we are a good fit, as it would be an honor to collaborate with you.
I value transparency, authenticity, and a strong therapeutic connection. You are the expert in your lived experience; my role is to support, guide, and walk alongside you as you move toward growth, balance, and emotional well-being.
