Hello and welcome! My name is Kate Hindle and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have been practicing for about 9 years now and am a firm believer that the best way to help someone is to understand the person. Therefore, I take the time to get to know you, your struggles and goals to form a person-centered approach to our sessions.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session we will do introductions and explore what brings you to the session. Then we will be able to discuss how I may be able to help you and the next steps that can be taken.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked in the field for 9 years now, and not being afraid to reach out for help, I feel confident that we can utilize the tools I have learned and the resources available to us to develop the best plan for you to feel comfortable in and make progress in.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have been using this treatment method for many years but it is very effective for those who have anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use or grief and loss.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I have been using this treatment method for many years but it is very effective for those who have anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use or grief and loss.

EMDR

I am in training for this and will soon be able to say I am fully trained. This method works well for those who have trauma or anxiety in that it can reduce the effect it has on their daily life.

Motivational Interviewing
