I work with adults who are navigating depression, relationship struggles, substance use and co-occurring disorders, complicated family dynamics, academic or career stress, life transitions, and the impact of trauma. Whatever brings you to therapy, my goal is to meet you where you are and create a space that feels supportive, steady, and real.
In our work together, I bring curiosity, reflection, and a bit of humor into the room. I draw from approaches like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness, and I tailor our sessions to what feels most helpful for you. Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all, and we’ll figure out what works best—together.
I aim to offer a safe, nonjudgmental space where we can look at patterns that may be keeping you stuck, make room for difficult emotions, and practice being a little kinder to yourself along the way. Therapy doesn’t have to feel intimidating or overly clinical—it can be thoughtful, engaging, and even relieving.
Clients often describe me as both compassionate and direct. You don’t have to do this alone. I’d be honored to be on your team as we take it one step at a time.
Hello! I am a licensed psychologist and licensed marriage and family therapist, with addiitonal post graduate training in marriage and family therapy. I have tremendous respect for individuals who are open to addressing their difficult experiences. To do so, requires courage, and I will partner with you on this journey. Painful life experiences leave an unfinished learning, and the purpose of therapy is to complete this learning. In individual therapy, I help client’s to say, “No,” without feeling guilty, and to move away from repetitive overthinking. We will address your “inner critic” to help you to be present in relating to others. Individual therapy can address your motivation and vitality, helping you to manage stress, rather than stress managing you. With couples therapy, I help couples stop having the same argument over and over. After infidelity, couples may find the path back to “us.” Partners with parenting differences can learn to collaborate for their kids. I also provide Parent-Child Interaction Therapy for parents of young children, who have temper tantrums, defiance behavior, and/or attention difficulties. Although, I provide therapy for coping with Autism Spectrum Disorder, I do not provide psychological assessment at this time.

I am passionate about trauma and helping others who have suffered from trauma in the past. The impact of trauma is largely unrecognized and can last a lifetime. Additionally, symptoms of trauma masquerade as many other diagnoses. For example, thousands of children are diagnosed each year with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, when their symptoms are actually due to trauma. Trauma disguises itself as anger management issues, impulsivity, depression, anxiety, phobias, panic attacks ... the list goes on and on. For me, treating trauma and helping others overcome its devastating effects is intensely rewarding.

I have been working with individuals by helping them understand that navigating life's challenges can be overwhelming, and seeking help is often the first step towards healing for 25 years. It has always been my life goal to assist others with becoming the best possible self they are meant to be. That's why I work hard at creating a safe, caring, and compassionate Online space where individuals can explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgment and at their own pass. My comprehensive range of services includes depression, anxiety, addiction, trauma-informed care, family and couples therapy, and more.
Struggling with stress, anxiety, trauma, feeling stuck, or low self-esteem? I’m here to help. Whether you’re facing career or relationship challenges, or seeking faith-based therapy, we’ll work together to create a personalized path forward.
As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), I specialize in helping clients heal from trauma and painful experiences that may be holding them back. My name is Patty and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I operate from a person-centered strengths based perspective. This means that you, the client, are the expert in the room and the strengths that you bring in are important. The journey to a fulfilling life may require journeys into old memories, new relationships, current and past job experiences, and so much more. I would love to be a part of this journey with you.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida and a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional with private practice and outpatient setting experience. I am also a certified Reiki Healer Levels I and II. I have spent several years supporting professionals in their career development and have a passion for professional coaching with the use of Motivational Interviewing techniques. My experience is in helping clients who lack purpose, experience stress and anxiety, relationship issues, low motivation, low self-esteem and challenges with confidence, as well as career difficulties.
I am a professional woman of color and have navigated through the dynamics of the corporate world. In my own experience, I have learned to heavily lean on more holistic approaches that have resulted in long-term changes in my view of the world and in the way I approach life's challenges. One of the biggest takeaways from our work together will hopefully be the understanding and acceptance that life's journey comes with "peaks and valleys" and how we respond to these will greatly influence our perspective of the self and how we show up for others and to the world we live in.
I believe that you are the expert on your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming your challenges. My goal is to ensure that we deeply explore your values and those strengths and help you recognize them to then identify your desires from counseling and work to that end. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process!
